Updated on Saturday November 5, 2022: Normally in pre-Covid times, Thanksgiving weekend at the Brea Mall is busy — it’s their busiest weekend of the year and things get a little bit crazy. Parking is nearly impossible and most stores have lines out the door. But just like these last these last two years, this year will once again be different due to the still lingering COVID-19 pandemic.
The operators of Brea Mall, Simon Property Group, have announced once again that they will be closing Brea Mall and 200+ of their other malls and outlet centers across the U.S. this year on Thanksgiving day itself. That’s in addition to the 50+ big box retailers that have also announced a third year of unprecedented Thanksgiving day closures.
But if you’re still planning on shopping in person then they will be open on Black Friday itself and for the rest of the long weekend. Here’s a look at this year’s confirmed holiday weekend store hours:
- Thanksgiving Day: On Thursday November 24, 2022 all stores are closed for the entire day.
- Black Friday: On Friday November 25, 2022 stores will be open at 6:00 a.m. and will close at 9:00 p.m.
- Small Business Saturday: On Saturday November 26, 2022, stores will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday: On Sunday November 27, 2022, stores will open at 11:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
- Cyber Monday: On Monday November 28, 2022 stores will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
Just keep in mind that there may be exceptions to some of the individual store’s holiday hours. Be sure to verify operating times directly with the store you’re planning on visiting (we’ve posted the direct telephone numbers down this page for your reference).
