Amazon Black Friday 2020 Sale – What to Expect

It’s still too early for us to know what’s coming at Amazon’s Black Friday sale this year but you can scroll down the page to see the details from last year to get an idea of what’s likely to come (we’re expecting to see similar types of deals to return again here in 2020). Just keep in mind that the current COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic may cause Amazon to make certain adjustments to their sale this year as they are already having trouble keeping up with increased demand and delays in delivery (caused by backups in the USPS).

We’ll be posting a copy of their ad and all the important details for 2020 once we know more. We will also let you know what to expect at Prime Day 2020 this year. As you probably already know, it’s been delayed in the US and in all of their other regions worldwide (expected to be rescheduled sometime in October). Be sure to check back again soon for the latest updates or join our newsletter to be the first to know the moment news is officially announced.

Expected 2020 Start & End Dates

Amazon typically stars dropping prices for Black Friday about a week before Thanksgiving weekend. However you’ll find that select items will only go on sale on Black Friday itself. The advertised sale items are typically available through the end of the day on Black Friday itself but, as we always see, they will likely be replaced with a new round of lightning deals for the remainder of the weekend and then again replaced with a new round of offers on Cyber Monday.

  • Expected start date: Friday November 20, 2020. That’s a week before Black Friday.
  • Expected end date: The end of day on Black Friday, November 27, 2020, or while supplies last.
  • Expected one-day-only deals: Available on Black Friday only, November 27, 2020, while quantities last.
