Updated on Wednesday, September 2, 2026: American Girl has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but the last few years give us a pretty good idea of what to expect.
Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026. We expect American Girl to start rolling out holiday markdowns earlier in November, followed by its main Black Friday promotion during Thanksgiving week.
Last year, shoppers could save up to 30% with a Buy More, Save More offer, while separate Super Saver deals reached as high as 70% off.
Expected American Girl Black Friday 2026 Dates
Here’s our current prediction based on the 2025 schedule:

These dates have not been confirmed by American Girl.
In 2025, the Super Savers sale started November 13, while the main online Black Friday promotion ran November 24-30. The Super Saver deals continued through December 2.
If American Girl follows the same calendar pattern this year, the dates above are our best estimate.
What Will the American Girl Black Friday 2026 Sale Look Like?
We expect American Girl to bring back some version of its Buy More, Save More promotion.
In 2025, the Black Friday offer was:
- 20% off qualifying orders of $100-$199.99
- 25% off qualifying orders of $200-$299.99
- 30% off qualifying orders of $300 or more
- Maximum discount of $100 per order
The discount was automatically applied to qualifying online-only purchases made at americangirl.com. Many newer dolls, special collections and collaborations were excluded.
American Girl used the same 20%, 25% and 30% structure for Black Friday 2024, so there’s a good chance something similar returns in 2026.
Our prediction is another sale offering up to 30% off, possibly with a $100 maximum discount.
American Girl Black Friday 2026 Price Predictions
Some of the best deals last year came from American Girl’s Super Savers section rather than the main percentage-off promotion.
Here are some actual 2025 deals and what we think comparable clearance prices could look like in 2026:

These 2026 prices are our predictions and have not been announced by American Girl.
The exact products will almost certainly change. American Girl’s deepest Black Friday discounts tend to be on older dolls, discontinued collections, accessories and larger playsets that the company is trying to clear out.
Will American Girl Dolls Be on Sale?
Yes, but don’t expect every doll to qualify.
One of the best deals in 2025 was select Truly Me 18-inch dolls for $69, down from $135. The Pink Stardust Holiday Collector Doll was also marked down from $275 to $179.
However, many standard 18-inch dolls were excluded from the main Buy More, Save More promotion. Newer Girl of the Year dolls, Disney dolls, Create Your Own dolls and several special collections were also excluded.
We expect the same basic setup in 2026.
Older Truly Me dolls and discontinued characters could see prices around $69 to $79, while the newest dolls and popular collaborations are much less likely to be discounted.
Look for Super Saver Deals Up to 70% Off
This may be the section worth watching most closely.
American Girl’s 2025 Super Savers sale advertised discounts of up to 70% and included some unusually large markdowns.
Examples included:
- Corinne’s Accessories: $7, regularly $36
- Kavi’s Accessories: $7, regularly $36
- Backstage Theater Set: $104, regularly $295
- Sorting Hat and Nimbus 2000 Set: $10, regularly $32
- Community Center Accessory Set: $39, regularly $100
- Hogwarts Trunk: $35, regularly $70
Those are the types of deals we expect to see again in 2026.
The biggest discounts will probably be on older merchandise and discontinued collections rather than the newest releases.
Is AG Rewards Worth Joining Before Black Friday?
Yes. AG Rewards is free, so it’s worth joining if you plan on buying directly from American Girl.
The current program has three levels:

Members can redeem points toward future purchases. American Girl currently gives a $1 reward credit for every 20 points, with up to $100 in points redeemable on a qualifying purchase.
Members also receive early access to certain products, promotions and events.
American Girl currently lists member savings-event discounts of 10% for Silver members, 15% for Gold members and 20% for Berry members.
Because Black Friday promotions can change from year to year, we’ll update this section once American Girl announces any special 2026 AG Rewards perks.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Possibly. Cyber Monday has sometimes been better than American Girl’s Black Friday offer, especially if you don’t want to spend $300 to reach the highest Black Friday discount.
In 2025, American Girl offered 30% off qualifying purchases for Cyber Monday, including select dolls. The offer was ultimately extended through December 2, with a maximum discount of $70.
For 2026, Cyber Monday falls on November 30.
We expect American Girl to offer around 30% off qualifying items again, although the maximum discount and exclusions could be different.
If a particular Super Saver item is already heavily discounted, however, waiting could be risky because many of those products are available only while supplies last.
What About Free Shipping?
American Girl currently offers free standard shipping on qualifying orders of $175 or more.
That threshold could change before Black Friday.
It’s also worth noting that the 2025 Black Friday promotion did not guarantee a special free-shipping offer.
If you’re placing a large order, check the shipping terms before buying since oversized products and some services may have additional charges.
When Will the American Girl Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?
American Girl usually does not release a traditional newspaper-style Black Friday ad weeks in advance.
Instead, the company tends to reveal promotions and individual deals as November progresses.
Last year’s Super Saver offers started November 13, followed by the main Black Friday promotion later in the month.
For 2026, we expect the first major Black Friday deals to appear around November 12-16.
We’ll update this page when the official promotion and featured deals are released.
Our American Girl Black Friday 2026 Prediction
We expect American Girl’s Black Friday 2026 sale to look similar to the last two years.
The main promotion will likely offer up to 30% off qualifying purchases, while separate Super Saver deals could reach 50% to 70% off older dolls, accessories and playsets.
Some select 18-inch dolls could fall to around $69 to $79, while larger playsets may see discounts of $100 or more.
The biggest thing to watch is the exclusions list. The newest dolls, Girl of the Year products, Disney collections, Create Your Own dolls and special collaborations may not qualify for the main promotion.
For now, all 2026 dates, discounts and prices above are predictions. We’ll update them once American Girl announces its official Black Friday sale.

There was a better deal about a week ago. 20% off entire purchase + 3x the points. I luckily purchased an expensive dollhouse that I’ve been eyeing for months. I wanted to pick up a few other items but I waited to see if there would be a better deal this week. Should have purchased them last week.
Ya don’t even get the discount on your full subtotal. You only get a discount on certain items separately.

I’m SO bummed that the 18 inch dolls are exluded from this year’s black friday sale….I took a chance and didn’t order with the Friendsgiving code yesterday, and also bypassed a 10% off American Girl through Rakuten a week ago….crossing my fingers for cyber monday;( (AND now I see the custom doll my daughter wants is back ordered until Feb 12, 2021…guess Valentine’s day will be the new Christmas for my dear daughter who’s been so excited. ugh…wish I just ordered it a week ago.
