American Girl Black Friday 2021 Sale – What to Expect

We’ve still got a long ways to go until American Girl’s Black Friday sale arrives again but you can scroll down the page to view last year’s details to get a general idea of the type of offers they typically run (you can expect to see similar deals return).

As always, we’ll be posting a copy of their ad, sale start/end dates and all the important details for 2021 the moment we know more. Be sure to check back again soon for the latest updates or join our newsletter to stay informed.

Black Friday 2021 Start & End Dates

American Girl is known for running a number of pre-Thanksgiving day deals before their main Black Friday sale. Although you shouldn’t dismiss these deals — Last year’s main event excluded 18-inch dolls from the offer while there was a deal on them in the days leading up to sale. You can imagine a number of moms and dads were disappointed, so if you see a good deal before Black Friday from American Girl then don’t miss it.

  • Expected Pre-Black Friday Sale: Sometime around November 18-19, 2021. Then a few 1-day-only Flash sales are possible after that.
  • Expected main Black Friday sale, start date: Friday November 26, 2021 (that’s on Black Friday itself).
  • Expected main Black Friday sale, end date: 11:59PM CT on Sunday November 28, 2021.

Then be on the lookout for your second chance to save at American Girl’s Cyber Monday sale on November 29, 2021. Some years the sale is different but last year American Girl just extended the exact same Black Friday deal into Cyber Monday.

In terms of store hours, American girl typically opens doors at 8:00AM on Black Friday morning. However due to the still ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, this may again change here in 2021. Some locations will likely have adjusted Thanksgiving weekend store hours due to local laws and any current outbreak situations. From the stores that will be open you can still expect customer limits to be enforced. Check with your nearest store in the days leading up Thanksgiving weekend to see what your local American Girl retail store is planning on doing this year.

  1. I’m SO bummed that the 18 inch dolls are exluded from this year’s black friday sale….I took a chance and didn’t order with the Friendsgiving code yesterday, and also bypassed a 10% off American Girl through Rakuten a week ago….crossing my fingers for cyber monday;( (AND now I see the custom doll my daughter wants is back ordered until Feb 12, 2021…guess Valentine’s day will be the new Christmas for my dear daughter who’s been so excited. ugh…wish I just ordered it a week ago. Mom lessons in life.
