What to expect at American Girl’s Black Friday 2023 Sale

We’re already looking forward to American Girl’s Black Friday 2023 sale. And although we still have a long ways to go, you can already slowly start planning for the event. Check out last year’s ad and offer details posted below to get a general idea of the type of deals that they like to run. And if you join our newsletter, you’ll be the first to know once their Black Friday 2023 ad is posted.

Black Friday 2023 Start & End Dates

During these last few years American Girl has been starting their Black Friday sales on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and ending it on Sunday night. Their Cyber Monday sale follows immediately afterwards and typically runs for just 24-hours or while in-stock supplies last.

  • Expected BF sale start date: Tuesday November 21, 2023 at 12:01AM CT (that’s 2-days before Thanksgiving).
  • Expected BF sale end date: Sunday November 26, 2023 at 11:59PM CT.

Keep in mind that these dates are still just our predictions and, at the moment, unconfirmed. We’ll post the official sale dates for 2023 as soon as we are able to confirm them.

Last Year’s Black Friday Ad

Updated on Tuesday November 22, 2022: There’s no pre-Black Friday deals at American Girl this year… That’s because the main event kicks off today!

From now Sunday night, shop americangirl.com to get up to 20% off your total purchase. The more you spend the more you save: 10% off orders of $75+, 15% off orders of $125+ or 20% off orders of $200+ (maximum discount is $75). There’s also an entire page of Black Friday doorbuster specials (see some of the highlights in the screenshots below). This is a great opportunity to pick up a new doll, clothes or accessories on sale for Christmas!

Last Year’s Cyber Monday Ad

Updated on Monday November 28, 2022: We received a number of comments about how weak American Girl’s Black Friday sale was this year… especially that the buy-more save-more discount only applied to certain items and didn’t count towards any of their most popular dolls or accessories.

Well, it’s even worse now. What are they offering during their 1-day Cyber Monday sale? Free shipping on all orders of $75+ made at americangirl.com. Yes, that’s it. Just. Free. Shipping. Of course there are some sale items on their clearance page, but we’ve never seen them offer basically nothing on Cyber Monday in all the years that we’ve been tracking them.

Anyways, the free shipping offer ends tonight at 11:59PM CT, Monday November 28, 2022. Some exceptions may apply, see the official offer terms posted below for complete details. We welcome your feedback in the comments section.
