Kay Jewelers Black Friday 2026: Deals, Dates & Predictions

Updated on Tuesday, September 8, 2026: Kay Jewelers has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but last year’s event gives us a solid idea of what to expect.

In 2025, Kay offered up to 40% off storewide and sitewide at kay.com, plus an extra 5% off purchases of $999 or more. Kay also ran a separate Black Friday deals section with some items marked up to 50% off, and a few individual pieces were discounted even more.

For 2026, we expect another mix of percentage discounts, specially priced jewelry and an extra offer on larger purchases.

Cyber Monday November 30
Best categories Diamond jewelry, gold, engagement rings, earrings
Likely exclusions Watches, loose stones, clearance, gift cards and services

These are predictions based mainly on Kay’s 2025 event.

When Will Kay Jewelers Black Friday 2026 Start?

Our best guess is Friday, November 20.

Last year’s sale started November 21 and ran through December 1, so a November 20 start would follow almost the same calendar pattern this year.

That means shoppers will probably have a full week to buy before Black Friday itself.

How Much Will Kay Take Off?

Up to 40% off is the safest prediction for the main sale, with some specially priced Black Friday items reaching 50% off or more.

Last year, Kay promoted up to 40% off storewide and sitewide, while its dedicated Black Friday deals section showed 853 items and advertised up to 50% off. Some individual items were even deeper, including select earrings and rings at 60% or more off their listed regular prices.

The important thing is that not every item gets the headline discount.

Kay Jewelers Black Friday 2026 Price Predictions

Here are a few simple examples of what the main discounts could look like:

Regular Price At 30% Off At 40% Off At 50% Off
$199 $139.30 $119.40 $99.50
$499 $349.30 $299.40 $249.50
$999 $699.30 $599.40 $499.50
$1,499 $1,049.30 $899.40 $749.50
$2,499 $1,749.30 $1,499.40 $1,249.50

These are examples only, not confirmed Black Friday prices.

What Counts as a Good Kay Black Friday Deal?

Kay is already running 30% off promotions on several categories in 2026, including engagement rings, men’s jewelry and diamond fashion jewelry. Gold chains have recently been 35% off.

So we would judge Black Friday like this:

Discount Our Take
20% off Common
30% off Good, but not unusual
40% off current jewelry Very good
50% off select pieces Strong
60%+ off Excellent if the item is not heavily marked up beforehand

The final dollar price matters more than the percentage banner.

Engagement Rings Are Worth Comparing Carefully

Kay currently runs 30% off Create Your Own Engagement Ring promotions, so a 30% Black Friday offer alone would not be especially rare.

If Black Friday brings 40% off a current ring, or combines a strong markdown with an extra spending-threshold discount, that becomes much more interesting.

For a $1,500 ring, the difference between 30% and 40% off is $150. On a $2,500 ring, it is $250.

That is why we would compare the actual final price rather than buying just because the sale says “Black Friday.”

The Extra 5% on Large Purchases Could Matter

Last year, Kay gave shoppers another 5% off when spending $999 or more, and that extra discount could be combined with the main Black Friday promotion.

On a larger jewelry purchase, that can add up.

For example, a $2,000 item reduced by 40% would cost $1,200. Another 5% off would bring it down to $1,140.

If Kay brings that offer back, it will matter much more on engagement rings and higher-priced diamond jewelry than on smaller gifts.

Watch the Exclusions

Kay’s exclusion list was long last year.

Several watch brands were excluded, along with smartwatches, watchbands, loose diamonds and gemstones, clearance, closeouts, gift cards, repairs, protection plans, custom design jewelry and certain special collections.

We would expect a similar list in 2026, so check the product page or cart before assuming the discount applies.

Clearance Can Still Beat Black Friday

Kay’s current clearance section already includes extra markdowns, and some pieces are 20% to 30% off before any additional clearance offer is applied.

That means Black Friday is not automatically the cheapest option for older inventory.

If you are flexible on style, clearance is worth checking first. If you want a newer or more specific piece, the Black Friday sale may give you better selection.

Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?

Probably not if the exact item you want is already 40% or 50% off.

Last year’s sale continued through Cyber Monday, so shoppers had several days to compare prices.

Cyber Monday is still worth checking for an extra online-only coupon or spending-threshold offer, but we would not risk losing a specific ring size, metal color or jewelry style just to chase a small extra discount.

When Will the Kay Jewelers Black Friday 2026 Sale Be Confirmed?

We expect the main sale around November 20.

Last year’s Black Friday event began November 21, with the sale continuing through December 1.

Once Kay announces the 2026 offer, we’ll update this page with the confirmed dates, discounts, exclusions and standout jewelry deals.
