Kate Spade Black Friday 2020 Sale – What to Expect

Updated on Saturday November 7, 2020: It’s still too early for us to know what’s coming at Kate Spade’s Black Friday sale this year but we’re expecting to see 50% off select handbags and wallets to return again. You can scroll down the page to see the details from last year, including which items were part of the sale, to get an idea of what’s likely to come here in 2020.

We’ll be posting a copy of their ad and all the important details once we know more. Be sure to check back again soon for the latest updates or join our newsletter to be the first to know the moment news is announced.

Expected 2020 Start & End Dates

Below you’ll find our expected 2020 Black Friday start and end dates for Kate Spade’s sale this year (our predictions are based off of last year’s sale schedule). Unlike other stores that have a short sale, Kate Spade typically gives you plenty of time to shop the bargains. Just keep in mind that they usually add new specials around Thanksgiving, including some one-day only doorbuster deals, so be sure to check their site periodically to see what’s new throughout the event.

  • Expected start date: Tuesday November 17, 2020. New additional sale items will likely be added over Thanksgiving weekend.
  • Expected end date: Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 11:59PM PT or while supplies last.

In terms of Black Friday store hours, they will likely vary this year by location due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. However all Kate Spade stores will be closed on Thanksgiving day itself if located in one of these major U.S. malls/outlet centers. It’s a good idea to get in contact with the store you plan on visiting to see what their specific hours of operation will be over the long weekend.

Last Year’s Black Friday Ad

Last updated on Wednesday November 20, 2019: Late last night, Kate Spade surprised us when then went live with their Black Friday sale — It arrived earlier than we’ve ever seen them start it before!

Starting now, shop katespade.com or any Kate Spade retail store to save 50% off on select handbags and wallets. You’ll need to use promo code GOBBLE50 at checkout to apply the savings if shopping online. And even though the offer officially lasts through December 10th, you can expect many of their most popular items to sell out quickly.

We’ve posted some screenshots of this year’s featured sale items as well as the official terms below. Offer valid in the U.S. and Canada only and excludes Kate Spade New York Outlet locations and department stores. And remember, all sales are final so not returns or exchanges are possible after you checkout. Happy bargain hunting!

  1. Very disappointed in their so called Black Friday sale. Their prior sales were much better, a majority of other brands do a site wide sale, here it looks like they are selling a lot of stock they ordinarily would not sell.

  2. I would like to buy the Sylvia East West phone crossbody but at $148 is way too expensive. I’m hoping to get a good discount this Black Friday… if it’s less than $100 I’ll probably pick it up. Keeping my fingers crossed!

  3. I’m on the hunt for the Sylvia Backpack… Does anyone know if you can use Kate Spade’s 15% off coupon for new email signups during Black Friday? I’m not sure if I should use it now or wait to stack up the offers.

    1. Sorry Emilia… Usually all those new customer email signup coupons can’t be stacked or combined with any other offers.
