Updated on Thursday February 1, 2024: It’s going to be a busy Black Friday weekend at Round Rock Premium Outlets… it always is! But don’t plan on going there on Thanksgiving day. That’s because you can expect all 100+ stores to be closed again this year for the entire day on Thanksgiving day itself.
But they are not alone. The trend among major malls, factory outlets and big-box stores these last few years has been to move more deals online and shut their physical doors on Thanksgiving day. No only are 200+ malls and outlets nationwide expected to be closed, all of which are owned and operated by the Simon Property Group who also owns Round Rock, but so are large retailers such as Walmart, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Target.
The good news is that everyone re-opens bright and early in the morning on Black Friday. And if you’ll be going out to the outlets then here are our predicted opening and closing times:
- Thanksgiving Day: On Thursday November 28, 2024 all stores are expected to be closed for the entire day.
- Black Friday: On Friday November 29, 2024 stores will likely open at 6:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
- Small Business Saturday: On Saturday November 30, 2024, stores will likely open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday: On Sunday December 1, 2024, stores will likely open at 11:00 a.m. and close at 7:00 p.m.
- Cyber Monday: On Monday December 2, 2024 stores will likely open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
