Updated on Tuesday September 3, 2024: We still have a little bit of time left to go until Best Buy’s Black Friday 2024 ad is posted, but here’s a look at what we are predicting this year:

• Best Buy’s main set of Black Friday deals are expected to begin on Friday November 22nd (a week before Black Friday itself), however new doorbuster deals will likely be added to the event on Thursday November 28th (Thanksgiving day) and then again on Black Friday, Friday November 29th.
• Before the main event, early access to a handful of this year’s Black Friday specials will likely arrive in early November (we are predicting it on November 3rd).
• Purchases made at Best Buy throughout November and December usually automatically qualify for an extended return through January 13th, 2025. However that excludes all third-party items.
• For the last four years during the pandemic, many stores nationwide have decided to stay closed on Thanksgiving day itself. Best Buy is expected to also once again remain closed here in 2024. All stores typically reopen at 5:00AM on Friday morning.
• As you would expect, you’ll find items on sale from all categories across the store. That will include TV’s, laptops, small kitchen appliances, major appliances, personal electronics and games/gaming systems. Black Friday 2024 Start & End Dates

This is now the 13th consecutive year that we’ve been tracking Best Buy’s Black Friday sales; when it comes to their sale dates, a similar sales schedule has been repeating itself for these last few years now. Here is this year’s predicted Black Friday and holiday sales schedule:

• Expected BF Early Access: Best Buy Plus and Total members are expected to get exclusive access to a handful of this year’s Black Friday deals between November 1-3, 2024.
• Expected Black Friday “Deals for Everyone” start date: Monday November 4, 2024. All shoppers are expected to get now get early access to select Black Friday deals.
• Expected main Black Friday sale start date: Friday November 22, 2024 (that’s a week before Black Friday itself). All Best Buy stores nationwide will likely be be closed ALL DAY for the 5th year in a row on Thanksgiving day itself.
• Expected Black Friday sale end date: Saturday November 30, 2024 or while in-stock supplies last.
• Expected Cyber Monday sale dates: Sunday-Monday, December 1-2, 2024.

If shopping in-stores, we are expecting that beginning on Monday November 11, 2024 all Best Buy stores will operate with extended hours, open from 9:00AM to 9:00PM local time from Monday to Saturday and from 9:00AM to 8:00PM on Sunday. Extended store hours will likely run up until Christmas Eve, Sunday December 24, 2024.
