Check out last year’s ad and offer details posted below to get a general idea of the type of deals that they like to run. And if you join our newsletter, you’ll be the first to know once their Black Friday 2023 ad is posted.

Black Friday 2023 Start & End Dates

As long as we can remember, Sonos has always run their Black Friday sales from Thanksgiving Day through Cyber Monday. But last year, likely because of the tightening economy, the sale dates were extended. Given the way things look right now, we’re expecting a similar extended sales schedule.

  • Expected BF sale start date: Sunday November 19, 2023 at 12:01AM EST (that’s 4 days before Thanksgiving day).
  • Expected BF sale end date: Cyber Monday November 27, 2023 at 11:59PM PST or while in-stock supplies last.

Just remember that these dates are still just our predictions and, at the moment, unconfirmed. We’ll post the official sale dates for 2023 as soon as we are able to independently verify them.

What’s New at Sonos?

There are several new speakers released from Sonos recently. Here’s what’s new:

Sonos Sub Mini: Retailing for just $429 vs. the full-sized Sub for $749, the bluetooth subwoofer gives you not only big boom without the box, but is also an affordable way to join the Sonos ecosystem. Makes for an excellent pair with the Sonos Beam or Ray and One speakers.

Sonos Arc Soundbar: Finally, the Playbar replacement that we’ve been patiently waiting for is here — The Arc was just released late last year. With 11 Class-D digital amplifiers, 8 elliptical woofers and 3 silk-dome tweeters this is a worthy contender. It also now includes Apple AirPlay 2 and Alexa and Google Assistant voice controls built-in. It retails for $799.

Sonos Ray: Retail priced for $279, the Sonos Ray is a great option for fantastic sound in a smaller setting. And good on your budget too as the full-sized Arc soundbar is more than twice the cost. Besides being a great companion for your TV, it’s also built for streaming all of your favorites wirelessly via Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and more.

Keep an eye out for these new Sonos products when your shopping this Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend.

FAQ’s

Does Sonos ever go on sale?

Yes! Sonos is known for running a few sales per year when you shop their direct online store. Their major one is over Thanksgiving weekend. Afterwards, be on the lookout for their Father’s Day/Graduation deals that usually come for a week or so in the Spring.

Will Sonos have Black Friday deals?

They usually do! Ever since we started tracking Sonos back in 2014, they’ve been running a Black Friday sale every single year. The only exception was in 2021, likely due to the worldwide computer chip shortage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Is Sonos Arc worth the money?

Most definitely if your an audiophile and love your music. Sonos is known for creating speakers with exceptional sound quality and clarity. Sonos also brings with it exceptional customer support and a two year warranty from the original purchase date in case something breaks. While there are plenty of low cost options on the market, if you’re planning on using your sound system often and plan on keeping it a while, then it’s one you should consider.

How much does a Sonos system cost?

A Sonos sound system ranges from just $298 for the two-speaker Play:1 set to about $1796 for their 5.1 Surround Set with Playbar and One. The great part of any Sonos system is that they are expandable and let you to add components later on. That means you can build out your sound system over time without having to pay for it all upfront.

Are sound bars worth it?

Televisions have become so thin lately that sound quality of the built-in speakers have suffered as a result. Most integrated TV speakers lack bass or produce distorted sound at higher output levels. Even an average-priced soundbar should bring a noticeable improvement to the sound quality of your movies and cable programing.

  1. Will this be the same sale available on Black Friday or will there be additional discounts on Black Friday? I’m trying to decide if I should buy now 🙂

  2. I was waiting since 2 weeks of potential discount on black friday for a sons beam gen 2… that apparently won’t come, so disapointed haha

Now i wonder if it worth to buy the beam gen 2 at high price 499€ or if i better should take the gen 1 refurbished and discounted to 329€…
Does it worth the 170€ more to have the last gen ? Is anyone know ?

For info, i just get a new 4K tv screen with eARC port.

    1. Hey Ben… I can say from personal experience, I have a Sonos Beam Gen 1 at home that I bought last year and it’s perfectly fine. I doubt you would hear any big difference between the two. An Arc on the other hand, that’s something different. Remember, Sonos has a generous return policy so either way you can send anything back if you change your mind. Good luck!

    2. I have $2000 invested in sonos speakers. I Absolutely love them. Sonos to totally disregard black friday is inexcusable. I am very disappointed with sonos. I love them, as i said, but not to be able to buy some as gifts at xmas with a discount is beyond being cheap!

  3. Hi, do you know if Sonos uses a discount code on black Friday or do they just automatically apply the discount?
I also have a 15% off voucher that I would like to use but I know often multiple codes are not allowed.

    1. Hey John – No promo codes, just an automatic discount for the last few years that we’ve been tracking Sonos. However, I’d be surprised if you would be able to stack a promo code on top of the sale prices. But it’s worth trying… Good luck!

  4. I’m looking for the entire entertainment package. I also want to order 4 of the smaller speakers for my kids that could all hook up with music. What kind of deals could I get?

  5. I would love to get the Smart Surrounded Sound set but the price is way too high for me. I wonder if they have any bigger discount on that.

  6. I don’t own any of Sonos’s speakers due to the lack of bluetooth connectivity but the Sonos Move may finally change that. I wonder if Sonos will put it on sale for Black Friday given it was just announced???

Well technically, it’s leaked. The official announcement is on Monday and who knows when it actually ships. But still, I hope it’s on sale too come November as I’ll probably pull the trigger and get myself one of these.

  7. I’m looking to pick up the Sonos One 2-room set during Black Friday to add to the Playbar I bought last year. If if wasn’t so damn expensive I would also get the subwoofer as well but I’ll need to wait for that until next year unless I win the lottery.
