Philosophy Black Friday 2026: Deals, Dates & Predictions

Updated on Sunday, September 6, 2026: Philosophy has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but last year’s event gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Our prediction is 40% off most full-price items, with early access likely arriving a couple of days before Thanksgiving. The sale should cover many of Philosophy’s popular skincare, fragrance and bath products, although new items, gift sets and bundles may be excluded.

Cyber Monday is also worth watching. Last year Philosophy increased the savings to 50% off select favorites while keeping much of the site at 40% off.

These are predictions. We’ll update the page once Philosophy releases its 2026 Black Friday details.

When Will Philosophy’s Black Friday 2026 Sale Start?

Our best prediction for early access is Tuesday, November 24.

Last year Philosophy offered VIP Black Friday access on November 25 with 40% off using code EARLY40. That was two days before Thanksgiving. The public 40% Black Friday promotion was live by Thanksgiving Day and continued through November 30.

If Philosophy follows a similar schedule this year, we expect:

Event Expected Date
VIP or email early access at philosophy.com November 24
Main Black Friday sale November 26
Black Friday November 27
Main sale ends November 29
Cyber Monday offer November 30

You probably won’t need to stay up waiting for midnight on Black Friday. The main sale should already be running by then.

How Much Will Philosophy Take Off?

40% off is our main prediction.

Philosophy offered 40% off sitewide during Black Friday 2025, and the brand has used the same discount during several previous Black Friday events. Last year’s offer did not require a promo code once the public sale began.

There are usually exclusions. In 2025, new products, gift sets and bundles were excluded from the main 40% promotion. Discounts also could not be combined with other offers.

That fine print matters more at Philosophy than you might think, especially if you’re shopping for holiday gift sets.

Philosophy Black Friday 2026 Price Predictions

If 40% off returns, here’s what some popular products could cost based on current prices at Philosophy.com.

Product Current Price Predicted 40% Off Price
Purity Made Simple Facial Cleanser $29 $17.40
Hope in a Jar Smooth-Glow Moisturizer $52 $31.20
Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette $67 $40.20
Amazing Grace Eau de Parfum $77 $46.20
Microdelivery Vitamin C Peel Kit $82 $49.20
Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion $36 $21.60

Philosophy currently lists the Purity cleanser from $29, Hope in a Jar moisturizer at $52, Amazing Grace Eau de Toilette at $67 and Eau de Parfum at $77.

These are not confirmed Black Friday prices. They simply show what the current prices would look like with a 40% discount.

Is 40% Off Actually a Good Philosophy Deal?

Yes, but it is worth putting the discount in perspective.

Philosophy runs promotions pretty regularly. Right now, for example, its Labor Day offer is 30% off any order or 35% off when spending $65 or more.

Here’s what that means on a $100 purchase:

Discount You Pay Savings
30% off $70 $30
35% off $65 $35
40% off $60 $40
50% off $50 $50

So Black Friday at 40% off is better than Philosophy’s regular promotions, but only by $5 per $100 compared with a 35% sale.

If you’re nearly out of a product you use every day, we wouldn’t wait three months just to save another few dollars.

If you’re planning a large restock, 40% off is much more worthwhile.

Cyber Monday May Actually Be the Better Sale

This is the part of the Philosophy sale we would watch most closely.

On Cyber Monday 2025, Philosophy moved from its Black Friday offer of 40% off sitewide to up to 50% off, with 50% off select favorites and 40% off much of the rest of the site.

That means waiting until Cyber Monday could save another $10 on a $100 product if the item you want is selected for the 50% discount.

Our advice is pretty simple:

What You’re Buying When We’d Shop
A specific favorite you don’t want to miss Black Friday at 40% off
General skincare restock Black Friday is fine
Flexible on products or scents Wait to check Cyber Monday
Holiday gift set Check separately because exclusions may apply
New release Don’t assume it will be included

Unlike many retailers where Cyber Monday simply repeats Black Friday, Philosophy gave shoppers a reason to check back last year.

What Will Be Worth Buying?

We would focus on full-price products that rarely get marked down individually.

Amazing Grace fragrances are a good example. A $77 Eau de Parfum at 40% off would come down to $46.20, a savings of more than $30.

Higher-priced skincare also makes sense. The Microdelivery Vitamin C Resurfacing Peel Kit is currently $82, so a 40% discount would save $32.80.

Purity Made Simple cleanser, Hope in a Jar moisturizers and body products are also good restock candidates if they’re included.

Gift sets are different. Philosophy’s Black Friday terms have excluded gift sets and bundles, so don’t assume every holiday box will automatically get 40% off.

Don’t Forget About the Free Gift

Philosophy often adds gifts with purchase around Black Friday.

During VIP access last year, shoppers could receive a free four-piece gift with a $35 purchase. The free gift had to be added in the cart and was separate from the 40% discount.

If something similar returns, look at the total value of the order rather than just the percentage off.

A 40% discount plus a useful free skincare set can be a better deal than waiting for a slightly larger percentage later.

Join Philosophy Rewards Before Black Friday

It’s worth signing up before the sale rather than once it starts.

Philosophy promotes special offers through its rewards program, email and text alerts, and members have received early Black Friday access in the past. Philosophy currently also offers free shipping on orders of $50 or more.

Early access is most useful if you want a particular fragrance size or popular skincare product. If you’re just restocking basics, there’s less reason to rush.

Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?

For Philosophy, the answer is actually maybe.

If the product you want is 40% off on Black Friday and you need a specific item, buying it is perfectly reasonable.

But if you’re flexible, we would check again on Monday, November 30. Last year select products jumped to 50% off for Cyber Monday while the broader 40% promotion remained available.

That’s a more meaningful difference than we see at many beauty brands.

When Will the Philosophy Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?

We expect the first real Black Friday details around November 24.

Philosophy does not usually release a traditional newspaper-style ad. Instead, the offer appears on Philosophy.com and is promoted through email, texts and the rewards program.

Once the 2026 sale is announced, we’ll update this page with the confirmed start time, discount, promo code if needed, exclusions, free gifts and our picks for the best deals.
