If you’re eyeing a new water bottle from Hydro Flask, Black Friday is typically a good time to take advantage of some site-wide deals. Here’s a look at how their sales usually work, when they start, and which items see the biggest markdowns, and everything else you should know based on past trends.
When Will Hydro Flask’s Black Friday 2025 Sale Start?
Hydro Flask doesn’t usually stretch out its Black Friday promotion across the entire month like some retailers do. Instead, their discounts typically begin on Thanksgiving Day itself on hydroflask.com, which this year falls on Thursday, November 27, 2025.
Last year, the site-wide offer started early on Thanksgiving and included 25% off almost everything on their site. That same offer stayed live through the weekend and into Cyber Monday, which this year lands on December 1, 2025.
On Black Friday itself (November 28), Hydro Flask added extra savings for 24 hours only. So if you’re planning a purchase, that’s probably the best day to shop if you’re after something specific. The early deals are decent, but Black Friday often comes with deeper cuts on select items.
What Discounts to Expect
The base discount is expected to be 25% off site-wide. That’s the deal Hydro Flask ran last year, and there’s no indication it’ll change in 2025. This offer usually includes most of their core items — water bottles, tumblers, mugs, coolers, hydration packs, and even some of their accessories.
The better deals, though, usually happen only on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In 2024, for example, Hydro Flask offered:
-
40% off Travel Tumblers in both 40 oz and 32 oz sizes in every color, but just for Black Friday.
-
Up to 50% off existing sale items during Cyber Monday for one day only.
Shipping was also free last year on orders of $39 or more, and that offer is expected to return this year too.
What’s Usually Excluded
Hydro Flask tends to exclude MyHydro custom bottles from their major promotions. These are the build-your-own color combinations where you can mix and match bottle colors, lids, and boots. It’s likely that these won’t be included again this year.
Limited edition designs and seasonal prints may also be left out of the deal, depending on availability. If you’re hoping to grab one of those, check early — sometimes they sell out before the weekend is even halfway over.
Free Shipping and Minimums
Last year, free shipping kicked in at $39 and that threshold is expected to stay the same in 2025. Hydro Flask’s products can be a bit pricey, so hitting that minimum isn’t too hard — most bottles are around the $30–50 range. You’ll likely only need to add one or two small accessories (like a boot or replacement lid) to reach the limit if your main item falls just short.
Specific Sale Item Examples from 2024
To give you a clearer idea of what you might see again this year, here are a few examples of what Hydro Flask offered last Black Friday and Cyber Monday:
-
40 oz Travel Tumbler — Regularly $44.95, down to $26.97 (40% off, Black Friday only)
-
32 oz Travel Tumbler — Regularly $39.95, down to $23.97 (40% off, Black Friday only)
-
21 oz Standard Mouth Bottle — Regularly $34.95, dropped to $26.21 (25% off, site-wide deal)
-
Coffee Mug 12 oz — Regularly $27.95, down to $20.96 (25% off, all weekend)
-
Hydration Pack (Down Shift) — Originally $144.95, dropped to $108.71 (25% off)
-
Soft Cooler Tote — Regularly $149.95, dropped to $112.46 (25% off)
-
Sale section mugs — Some marked down by 30–50% on Cyber Monday
These numbers show that while the 25% discount applies site-wide, certain items got an even better deal — particularly during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. That Travel Tumbler deal was one of the best we saw, and it’s likely that Hydro Flask will do something similar again this year.
