Updated on Wednesday, September 2, 2026: Restoration Hardware, now known simply as RH, has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet. But based on last year’s event and RH’s current sale strategy, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

RH is a little different from most Black Friday retailers. Instead of one big traditional ad, the company usually runs seasonal clearance events online and at its Galleries, while RH Outlet locations get a separate Black Friday Clearance Event with much deeper discounts.

Expected Restoration Hardware Black Friday 2026 Dates

Here’s our current prediction:

In 2025, RH’s Black Friday Outlet Clearance began November 27 and continued through Cyber Monday. The company advertised 50% to 80% off, plus an additional 10% off everything in the store.

RH also ran an End of Year Sale during Black Friday weekend with savings of up to 60% on in-stock merchandise.

What Will the RH Black Friday 2026 Sale Be?

Our best prediction is that there will once again be two different types of RH Black Friday deals.

At RH.com and regular RH Galleries, expect:

• Up to 50% to 60% off select in-stock furniture and home decor
• Additional savings for RH Members
• Deals on living room, dining, bedroom, lighting, rugs, bedding and outdoor furniture
• Most sale items available only while inventory lasts

At RH Outlet stores, expect a much more aggressive clearance event.

Last year, RH Outlet advertised:

50% to 80% off everything, plus an additional 10% off.

That extra 10% meant some already heavily discounted merchandise ended up more than 80% below its original price.

RH Outlet Black Friday 2026 Predictions

RH Outlet is probably where the biggest Black Friday savings will be.

Our prediction for 2026:

For example, if a piece originally priced at $5,000 is marked 60% off, the clearance price would be $2,000. An additional 10% Black Friday discount would bring it down to $1,800.

A $5,000 item at 80% off would be $1,000, or about $900 after another 10% off.

Actual Outlet inventory and prices vary by location.

What Kind of Furniture Will Be on Sale?

RH’s seasonal sales currently include everything from sofas and sectionals to dining furniture, lighting and bedding.

We expect the strongest Black Friday 2026 discounts on:

• Sofas and sectionals
• Dining tables and chairs
• Beds, nightstands and dressers
• Outdoor furniture
• Rugs
• Chandeliers and lighting
• Bedding and bath
• Discontinued collections
• Floor models and returned merchandise

RH is already running seasonal clearance promotions in 2026 with member savings reaching as high as 70% on select categories, so deep markdowns are not limited to Black Friday itself.

RH Sofa and Cloud Deals

If you’re shopping for one of RH’s sofas, Black Friday is worth watching, but don’t assume the lowest price will only appear on November 27.

RH currently has select sofas marked 40% off or more.

For example, the Cloud 2-Cushion Sofa is currently listed starting around $4,159 for RH Members during the sale, compared with a regular starting price of $6,995. The Cloud 3-Cushion Sofa starts around $4,749 for members compared with $7,995 regular.

Is the RH Members Program Worth It?

If you’re making a large purchase, it can be.

The RH Members Program currently costs $200 per year.

Members now receive 30% off everything RH, including sale merchandise, with limited exclusions. Membership also includes complimentary RH Interior Design services and access to preferred RH Credit Card financing.

On a $3,000 qualifying purchase, a 30% member discount could represent $900 in savings, easily covering the $200 membership fee.

On a $10,000 furniture order, the difference can be much larger.

RH Membership Does Not Work at Outlet Stores

This is important.

RH Members Program discounts do not apply at RH Outlet locations. RH confirms that Outlet purchases are excluded from the membership program.

That’s because Outlet merchandise is already heavily discounted.

Outlet stores carry discontinued, returned and “not-quite-perfect” merchandise, and inventory varies dramatically from one location to another. Black Friday Outlet merchandise is also generally sold as-is, with limited quantities and no price adjustments on previous purchases.

So don’t buy a $200 RH membership just because you’re planning to shop the Outlet Black Friday sale.

Should You Shop RH or RH Outlet?

It depends on what you’re looking for.

Shop RH.com or a regular RH Gallery if you want a particular collection, size, fabric or finish. Membership can also make a big difference on a large order.

Shop RH Outlet if you’re flexible and simply want the lowest possible price.

A sofa that is 40% off through RH’s regular sale may show up at an Outlet at 60% to 80% off. The tradeoff is that Outlet merchandise may be discontinued, returned, a floor model or have cosmetic imperfections.

You’ll also have much less control over colors, sizes and configurations.

Will RH Have a Cyber Monday Sale?

Probably not a completely separate one.

RH generally treats Black Friday through Cyber Monday as one extended sale period.

In 2025, the RH Outlet Black Friday Clearance continued through Cyber Monday, December 1, while the regular RH End of Year Sale was also running during Black Friday weekend.

For 2026, Cyber Monday falls on November 30.

We expect most RH Black Friday deals to continue through Monday rather than being replaced with an entirely new promotion.

Is Black Friday the Best Time to Buy at RH?

Not always.

Unlike many retailers, RH runs major clearance events throughout the year.

Black Friday can be especially good at RH Outlet stores because of the additional storewide discount. But regular RH customers may find equally strong prices during seasonal clearance events.

RH’s current Early Fall Sale, for example, advertises member savings of up to 70% on living, dining, bedroom and other categories.

If the exact sofa, dining table or bed you want is already heavily discounted, waiting until Black Friday could mean losing the item rather than getting a lower price.

When Will the Restoration Hardware Black Friday 2026 Sale Be Announced?

RH usually waits until close to Thanksgiving to announce the Outlet Black Friday event.

In 2025, RH sent its “Black Friday Clearance Event Starts Tomorrow” announcement on November 26. The sale then began November 27.

If the same pattern returns, we may not see the official 2026 RH Outlet Black Friday offer until around November 25.

The regular RH seasonal sale will likely already be underway by then.

Our Restoration Hardware Black Friday 2026 Prediction

We expect RH to have two main Black Friday opportunities in 2026.

RH.com and regular Galleries will likely have an in-stock holiday or year-end sale with savings of up to around 60%, with RH Members receiving additional member pricing.

RH Outlet stores should have the more aggressive event. Based on last year, we’re predicting 50% to 80% off, plus another 10% off during Black Friday weekend.

The RH Members Program is also more valuable than it was when your previous article was written. Membership now costs $200 per year and provides 30% savings on everything RH, including sale items, although those benefits do not apply at RH Outlets.

For now, all 2026 dates and Black Friday discounts above are predictions. We’ll update this page once RH confirms the official sale.
