We’re still on the lookout for Cost Plus World Market to release their Black Friday ad for 2019. Unlike other stores that leak out their ads a few weeks in advance, World Market’s BF ad usually appears in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. So what will they likely offer us this year?
We are expecting the sale to once again go live online on Thursday morning (Thanksgiving day) and in-stores when they open at 7:00am on Black Friday (stores are closed on Thanksgiving day). In terms of the offers, they will likely mirror those from last year. You can scroll down the page to see last year ad scan to get a general sense of the deals typically offered on Black Friday. As soon as we have the official details for this year we’ll get it posted here for you right here on Blacker Friday. Check back soon for the latest news (or join our newsletter and we’ll keep you informed).
Until then, you can take a look at worldmarket.com for this week’s promotions and clearance on some of their end-of-season furniture, rugs, tables, chairs, and various other knick knacks. Good luck and happy bargain hunting!
What do you plan on getting at this year’s Black Friday weekend sale at Cost Plus World Market? Maybe a new table or holiday home decor? Let us know in the comments (the comments section is located at the bottom of the page).

You’ll be able to shop the sale on Thanksgiving day at worldmarket.com (stores are closed on Thursday). Stores open on Black Friday morning at 7:00AM, and if you happen to be one of the first 100 customers through the door, then you’ll get a $10 certificate and free tote bag just for showing up early. But before you go just don’t forget to clip that coupon on the front page of the ad for 40% off all furniture.
Updated on Monday, November 13, 2017: We just received a copy of Cost Plus World Market’s Black Friday 2017 ad — Check it out below!
In terms of store hours, you’ll be able to shop beginning on Thursday, Thanksgiving day, online (Nov. 23) and in-stores on Black Friday (Nov. 24) when doors open at 7:00AM. The sale officially runs through Sunday (Nov. 26), however you can expect some of their best sellers to go quickly.
If you do end up shopping in-stores then get there early because the first 100 customers in line at 7:00AM on Friday get a $10 store certificate and the first 100 customers at 8:00AM on Saturday and Sunday get a free tote bag. Be sure to also bring your coupon from the flyer to save 40% off on all furniture in the store (see ad for official terms and conditions).
Additional perks are also available for World Market Explorer members — You’ll earn 3X credits on purchases made from Nov. 23—26, 2017, including on gift card purchases! So that comes out to be $30 shopper rewards for every $200 you spent.
Updated November 22, 2016: We’ve just got ahold of the short (but sweet!) 4-page Black Friday ad from Cost Plus World Market! We’ve posted it below – Check it out!
In terms of store hours, this year the deals go live on Thanksgiving day (Nov. 24th) online and in stores on Black Friday (Nov. 25th) when they open at 7:00AM. But you should think about shopping from their site this year because from you’ll save an additional 10% off your total purchase with coupon code savebig10 (code valid Nov. 24 to Nov. 27).
If you do end up going in-store, then try to be there early – Not only because you won’t have to worry about something you want selling out early, but also because the first 100 customers through the doors get a free tote bag and $10.00 store certificate to use. For all procrastinators, don’t worry because if you end up shopping on Saturday or Sunday (that’s Nov. 26-27) then you’ll be able earn two free movie tickets with any $40.00+ in-store purchase.
Some of the featured deals this year include 25% off all furniture, 50% off teakettles and tea, and 40% off all Christmas crackers. Be sure to check out the buy one get one free deals on all toys, cookie tins, open-store ornaments, gift wrapping, fitted candles, wine bottle outfits, and more!
Similar to last year’s Black Friday sale, this year again you will enjoy up to 50% off (online) or buy 1 get 1 FREE (in stores). This includes half-priced discounts on items like jewelry, scarves, bath towels, throw pillows, toys and many more. On the Thanksgiving Day stores are closed and you can only shop online, but they open early on Friday starting at 7:00AM!
Additional discounts include 40% off on all media stands, pet accessories, filled candles or 25% off all furniture with promo code FURNSHOP. Just be aware that the 25% off all furniture ends today, on the Thanksgiving Day (November 26, 2015), so it is really your last chance to save on some of their bigger items. Also, be sure to check out World Market deal on cowhide rugs – now you can save $100 off when you purchase 5.5’x8′ Light Natural Cowhide Area Rug now priced at $249.99 vs. $349.99.
Lastly, there is free shipping on all orders $100 or more but there is a catch: it can not be combined with the 25% off furniture discount. So do your math: if the shipping charges exceed 25% off savings then choose purchasing furniture for the full price. But most likely you will save more with the 25% off deal.
We’re two days from Thanksgiving and we’ve finally gotten our hands on the Black Friday weekend deals coming from Cost Plus World Market. This year you’ll find a whole bunch of stuff at buy-one get-one free. That includes on all jewelry, shawls, scarfs, monograms items, toys, tea, throw pillows, and holiday paper. And if you shop online, you’ll get free shipping as well as long as your total order amour exceeds $100.00. Just be sure to enter coupon code YULELOVEIT at checkout to get the discount. Stores open at 7:00am on Friday.
If you’re planning on going to your local World Market store, we recommend getting there early as the first 100 customers in-store will receive an exclusive DownTown Abbey Crest Teacup. You’ll also get a matching DownTown Abbey tote bag free with $20.00 or more in-store purchase (while supplies last).
If you’re a new World Market customer, we also recommend that you take a moment to situ up to their newsletter. We were just offered a 10% off coupon code on our first purchase for doing so and appears we are able to stack it up this year to some of the Black Friday deals online.
