Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026. We expect the main Bass Pro Shops sale to begin on Monday before Thanksgiving and run through Sunday, with additional Friday-only Hot Deals when stores open early on Black Friday.
Fishing gear, marine electronics, outdoor clothing, boots, camping equipment, coolers and grills should once again be among the biggest categories.
Expected Bass Pro Shops Black Friday 2026 Dates
Here’s our current prediction:

These dates have not been confirmed by Bass Pro Shops.
In 2025, the main sale ran from Monday, November 24 through Sunday, November 30. Stores opened at 5:00 a.m. on Black Friday, with a separate group of one-day, in-store-only Hot Deals.
If Bass Pro Shops follows the same Monday-through-Sunday schedule in 2026, November 23 through November 29 is our best estimate.
What Deals Can We Expect?
Bass Pro Shops usually has hundreds of deals spread across fishing, camping, apparel, footwear and other outdoor categories.
Here are some actual 2025 Black Friday prices along with what we think similar products could cost in 2026.

The 2025 ad featured the Garmin unit at $899.97, the Silent Stalker Elite Parka at $99.98, family flannels for $9.98, the Johnny Morris CarbonLite spinning combo for $149.98 and the backpack cooler for $69.98.
Fishing and Marine Electronics Deals
Fishing equipment should once again be one of the biggest parts of the sale.
We expect Black Friday discounts on:
- Garmin fish finders and GPS units
- Lowrance electronics
- Johnny Morris rods and reels
- Abu Garcia and Shimano products
- Rod and reel combos
- Tackle and fishing accessories
Marine electronics can have some of the largest dollar savings in the entire ad.
Last year, a Garmin ECHOMAP Touch model was advertised for $899.97, while the Johnny Morris CarbonLite spinning combo was $149.98.
For 2026, we would watch for older-generation Garmin and Lowrance units to receive particularly large discounts as newer models replace them.
Outdoor Clothing and Boot Deals
You don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to find a good Bass Pro Shops Black Friday deal.
The retailer is known for very cheap apparel doorbusters.
In 2025, family flannel shirts were $9.98. The RedHead Silent Stalker Elite Parka was $99.98, down from $169.99, and select insulated RedHead boots were around $79.98.
For 2026, we expect:
- Flannel shirts around $10
- Select jeans around $10-$15
- Hoodies around $20-$40
- Insulated boots around $70-$100
- Jackets and parkas 30%-50% off
RedHead will probably have some of the lowest prices since it is one of Bass Pro Shops’ own brands.
Expect Friday-Only Hot Deals
This is one reason Bass Pro Shops still feels more like a traditional Black Friday sale than many other retailers.
Although the main event lasts all week, Bass Pro Shops usually saves some of its strongest doorbusters for Black Friday morning.
In 2025, those Hot Deals were available only on Friday and some were limited to in-store purchases. Stores opened at 5:00 a.m.
We expect another group of one-day-only deals in 2026.
If you only plan to shop online, you should still have plenty of offers to choose from. But some of the lowest-priced clothing, outdoor gear and other doorbusters may require a trip to the store.
Will Bass Pro Shops Give Away Mystery Gift Cards Again?
We think there’s a very good chance.
In 2025, the first 250 shoppers at participating Bass Pro Shops stores on Black Friday received a mystery promotional gift card worth between $10 and $500.
The cards were intended for use during a later December redemption period rather than immediately on Black Friday.
We expect a similar giveaway in 2026:

Bass Pro Shops CLUB Member Deals
CLUB members may also see additional Black Friday savings.
The Bass Pro Shops CLUB Mastercard currently earns:

Bass Pro Shops also runs CLUB-only prices, bonus-point offers and other special promotions throughout the year.
Some Black Friday products received special CLUB member pricing in previous sales, so we expect that to happen again in 2026.
Unlike Walmart+ or Amazon Prime, CLUB is tied to the Bass Pro Shops credit card rather than being a paid annual shopping membership.
Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Usually Share the Same Deals
If you live closer to Cabela’s, you may not need to make a special trip to Bass Pro Shops.
The two retailers are part of the same company and their Black Friday sales have become nearly identical.
In 2025, both Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s ran their sales November 24-30, opened at 5:00 a.m. on Black Friday and offered the mystery gift card giveaway to the first 250 shoppers.
CLUB Points can also be earned and redeemed at both retailers.
Santa’s Wonderland Should Return
Families shopping Bass Pro Shops during November should also expect Santa’s Wonderland to return.
In 2025, the free holiday event ran from early November through Christmas Eve and included a free 4×6 photo with Santa and a shareable video. CLUB Members received 20% off additional photo packages.
We expect a similar event in 2026.
Reservations are usually available online up to seven days ahead and can fill quickly around Thanksgiving weekend.
Will Bass Pro Shops Be Open on Thanksgiving?
Bass Pro Shops has traditionally operated limited Thanksgiving hours rather than closing for the entire day.
The 2025 Black Friday advertising listed Thanksgiving hours beginning around 8:00 a.m. at participating locations, followed by the 5:00 a.m. Black Friday opening.
For Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026, we expect many stores to open with reduced holiday hours again.
Exact hours can vary, so check your local Bass Pro Shops before heading out.
When Will the Bass Pro Shops Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?
Bass Pro Shops still releases a large traditional Black Friday ad.
Last year’s ad was 48 pages long and was posted on November 14, about ten days before the sale began.
For 2026, we expect the ad around November 13.
That should give shoppers about a week and a half to compare prices before the sale begins.
We’ll update this page as soon as the 2026 Bass Pro Shops Black Friday ad is released.
Our Bass Pro Shops Black Friday 2026 Prediction
We expect Bass Pro Shops Black Friday 2026 to run from around November 23 through November 29, with additional Friday-only Hot Deals on November 27.
Fishing electronics, rods and reels, outdoor clothing, boots, camping gear, coolers and holiday gifts should have some of the strongest discounts.
Based on last year, $10 flannels, $70-$80 insulated boots, $100 parkas and fishing combos around $150 are all realistic possibilities.
We also expect stores to open around 5:00 a.m. on Black Friday and bring back the mystery promotional gift cards worth up to $500 for the first 250 shoppers.
For now, all 2026 dates and prices above are predictions. We’ll update them once Bass Pro Shops releases its official Black Friday ad.
