Updated on Thursday September 5, 2024: Although we still have some time before PetSmart’s Black Friday 2024 ad is officially released, we’ve tracked their sales for so many years now that we pretty much have a solid idea of what to anticipate. Here are our predictions for this year:

Petsmart’s Black Friday sale typically kicks off online on Thanksgiving day and in-stores on Black Friday itself. Most deals often run through Sunday night or while in-stock inventories last. Note: live animals and select items will only be available in-stores only!
If shopping in-stores, all locations will be closed on Thanksgiving day itself. Stores are expected to open at 7:00AM on Friday morning.
In terms of what’s on sale, Petsmart runs 30% to 50% off specials on select items across all product segments in the store. That includes dog and cat food, snacks, toys, fish tanks, live animals, and bedding. Be sure to scroll down the page to view last year’s ad to get a general idea of what’s to come.
If you find a lower price on an identical product offered in-stores at one of Petsmart’s competitors like Petco, then they should be able to match the price for you. A store associate will be able to tell you more about the details and terms of their policy as some restrictions will apply.

Petsmart’s Black Friday 2024 Sales Schedule

Petsmart’s Black Friday sale is often a holiday-weekend-long event; it’s expected to begin online on Thursday, Thanksgiving day, and in-stores on Black Friday itself. Most of the advertised specials will likely last through Sunday night. Just be aware that select items will only be available in-stores only, not available for purchase on their site.

Expected BF sale start date, online: Thursday November 28, 2024 (that’s on Thanksgiving day). All stores nationwide are typically closed on Thanksgiving day itself.
Expected BF sale start date, in-stores: Friday November 29, 2024. Most locations open at 7:00am.
Expected BF sale end date: Sunday December 1, 2024 or while in-stock supplies last.
