Updated on Thursday, September 17, 2026: UScellular has not announced a Black Friday 2026 sale, and this year’s event could look very different from previous years.
UScellular is now part of T-Mobile, with customer accounts and stores gradually moving over to T-Mobile systems. Existing UScellular customers are still being supported during the transition, but T-Mobile says the UScellular brand itself will transition in phases.
If you’re shopping for a phone this Black Friday, we expect the best offers to look increasingly similar to T-Mobile promotions, with discounts delivered through trade-ins, new-line offers and monthly bill credits rather than simple cash markdowns.

These are predictions based on UScellular’s 2025 Black Friday promotion, its 2026 device offers and the ongoing T-Mobile transition.
Will UScellular Have a Black Friday Sale in 2026?
Possibly, but we would not expect Black Friday to operate exactly as it did in previous years.
T-Mobile completed its purchase of UScellular’s wireless business in August 2025 and said the UScellular brand would transition to T-Mobile in phases. UScellular’s current customer information also says accounts are moving to T-Mobile systems and that stores are increasingly offering T-Mobile products, plans and Home Internet.
That means some shoppers may still encounter UScellular-branded promotions this fall, while others may already be shopping through T-Mobile.
For this page, I would continue tracking UScellular through Black Friday, but I would also compare whatever appears with T-Mobile’s holiday promotions.
What Did UScellular Offer Last Black Friday?
The main UScellular Black Friday 2025 smartphone promotion offered up to $1,100 in monthly bill credits on qualifying devices when customers added a new line on an eligible plan.
The offer required a 36-month installment agreement, qualifying service, credit approval, AutoPay and paperless billing. Credits were spread across 36 months rather than taken off the phone’s price immediately.
Existing customers could also qualify for up to $1,100 in credits on an eligible upgrade with a qualifying trade-in and higher-tier plan.
That is the model we expect to see again, whether the offer ultimately carries a UScellular or T-Mobile name.
How Much Could You Save in 2026?
Current UScellular offers give us a useful benchmark.
In 2026, UScellular has offered up to $1,100 in credits on the iPhone 17 Pro with an eligible trade-in and qualifying service. Other promotions have included up to $830 toward an iPhone and up to $900 toward a Samsung Galaxy S26.
Based on those offers, these are the numbers we would watch around Black Friday:

None of these are confirmed Black Friday 2026 deals.
Read the Fine Print on “Free” Phones
This is especially important with wireless-carrier promotions.
A phone advertised as “on us” usually is not simply handed to you for free. UScellular’s recent deals require a device installment agreement, and the discount is paid back as monthly credits over 36 months. If the service is cancelled or the device is paid off early, the remaining promotional credits can stop.
For example, a $1,100 phone covered by 36 monthly credits works out to about $30.56 in credits each month.
That can still be an excellent deal if you planned to stay with the carrier for three years, but it is much less appealing if you like changing carriers frequently.
What Does the T-Mobile Transition Mean for Black Friday?
This is the most important change for 2026.
T-Mobile says UScellular customers are being moved to its systems, while UScellular stores continue supporting customers and increasingly provide access to T-Mobile products and plans. The companies have also integrated their networks, giving UScellular customers access to T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network.
T-Mobile has said customers should retain their tenure and that the move itself is not expected to increase monthly costs or reduce existing plan benefits. Existing promotional value is also supposed to carry over during the migration.
For Black Friday shoppers, the practical takeaway is simple: check both UScellular and T-Mobile before upgrading.
Depending on where your account is in the migration process, the best available offer may now be a T-Mobile promotion rather than something specifically labeled UScellular.
New Customers and Existing Customers May See Different Deals
Carrier Black Friday promotions usually depend heavily on whether you’re opening a line, upgrading an existing phone or trading something in.
Last year’s UScellular Black Friday offer gave new-line customers up to $1,100 in device credits without the same trade-in requirement attached to some existing-customer upgrade offers.
We would expect similar differences this year.
Before comparing two deals, check the required plan, whether a trade-in is needed, whether you must add a line and how long the credits take to receive. A $1,100 headline discount can be much less attractive if it forces you onto a significantly more expensive plan for three years.
Don’t Wait Until Black Friday Just for a Phone Discount
UScellular has already run offers in 2026 that are close to Black Friday-level discounts.
Recent promotions have included an iPhone 17 for up to $830 off, an iPhone 17 Pro for up to $1,100 off and a Galaxy S26 for up to $900 off under qualifying conditions.
If the exact phone you want is already fully covered by promotional credits and the required plan works for you, Black Friday may not improve the deal much.
Waiting makes more sense if you’re hoping for fewer trade-in requirements, a lower-priced qualifying plan, smartwatch or tablet bundles, or an offer that applies to existing customers.
What About UScellular Prepaid?
This should be updated from the old page because UScellular Prepaid has been phased out.
UScellular told prepaid customers that June 2026 would be the last month to refill accounts and that prepaid service would be discontinued during summer 2026. Customers were directed to move to T-Mobile or another provider.
So we would not expect a traditional UScellular Prepaid Black Friday sale in 2026.
Shoppers looking for prepaid service should instead compare T-Mobile Prepaid and other prepaid carriers during Thanksgiving week.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Probably not if you find a strong phone deal and understand the terms.
Wireless promotions often run across the entire Thanksgiving weekend rather than changing dramatically on Cyber Monday. The bigger risk with waiting is that a particular phone color, storage capacity or store inventory disappears.
If the offer is only average, however, checking again on November 30 makes sense. Carriers occasionally add accessory discounts, smartwatch bundles or online-only promotions for Cyber Monday.
When Will UScellular Black Friday 2026 Deals Be Confirmed?
We expect the holiday phone offers to become clearer during the second half of November.
Last year’s Black Friday-specific UScellular terms were posted around November 24, so the week of Thanksgiving is the period we would watch most closely.
Once the 2026 offers are announced, we’ll update this page with the confirmed phone deals, trade-in requirements, eligible plans and any differences between UScellular and T-Mobile promotions.
