Updated on Tuesday, September 8, 2026: Allen Edmonds has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but last year’s event gives us a useful benchmark.
The 2025 sale started a week before Black Friday, with select dress shoes and loafers from $199 to $229 and boots from $299. For 2026, we expect a similar mix of fixed-price deals and markdowns approaching 40% to 50% on selected styles.

These are predictions based primarily on Allen Edmonds’ 2025 sale.
When Will Allen Edmonds Black Friday 2026 Start?
Our best guess is Friday, November 20.
Last year’s sale began November 21, exactly one week before Black Friday, and was expected to run through Cyber Monday. It was available online at allenedmonds.com and all Allen Edmonds stores in the U.S. and Canada.
Following the same pattern this year would put the start on November 20, so there probably will not be a reason to wait until Thanksgiving weekend.
How Much Will Allen Edmonds Take Off?
Rather than one sitewide percentage, expect selected shoes and boots to receive different markdowns.
Last year’s deals included the $450 Fifth Avenue Oxford for $229, the $425 Newman Penny Loafer for $199 and $550 Grafton Chelsea Boots for $299. Those work out to savings of roughly 45% to 53%.
That gives us a useful target for 2026: around 40% off is good, while roughly 50% off a current leather shoe or boot is a strong Black Friday price.
Allen Edmonds Black Friday 2026 Price Targets
Several of Allen Edmonds’ best-known styles currently sell for $450 or more. The Park Avenue and Strand are both $450, while the Higgins Mill Weather-Ready Boot is currently $550.

What Counts as a Good Allen Edmonds Deal?
This is where I would avoid getting distracted by the percentage banner.
Allen Edmonds’ 2026 Anniversary Sale advertised savings of up to 40%, while its regular sale section currently includes sneakers and loafers under $199, dress shoes under $299 and boots under $300.

The better question is which shoe gets discounted.
A Park Avenue in black or dark brown at 40% off would interest us more than 55% off a discontinued color with only a few sizes left.
The Classic Styles Are the Ones to Watch
Allen Edmonds regularly discounts seasonal colors and discontinued styles, so Black Friday becomes much more useful when core shoes are included.
The Park Avenue is currently $450 at full price in standard colors, although a Brown Museum Leather version has recently been marked down to $284.99. That is a good example of how dramatically prices can vary by color even before Black Friday.
If you want black Park Avenues for work or a standard Strand you plan to wear for years, we would consider 35% to 40% off a solid buy.
If you are flexible on color, check the sale section first.
Don’t Ignore the Shoe Bank
This is one area where Allen Edmonds is different from most footwear retailers.
Its sale section links directly to the Shoe Bank, where shoppers can find factory seconds and clearance merchandise. Allen Edmonds also currently advertises sale dress shoes under $299 and boots under $300.
Factory seconds can beat Black Friday pricing, but there is a tradeoff: inventory is much less predictable, particularly when you need a specific combination of size, width and color.
For a shopper who knows exactly what shoe they want, Black Friday may offer the better selection. For someone who simply wants the lowest Allen Edmonds price, the Shoe Bank is worth checking before buying.
Size and Width Matter More Here Than at Most Stores
Allen Edmonds carries unusually broad sizing on many of its classic shoes. The Park Avenue, for example, is offered across sizes 5 through 16 with widths ranging from AAAA through EEE, depending on availability.
That makes waiting for another $20 discount a little risky if you wear a less common size or width.
If your exact size, width and preferred leather reach a strong Black Friday price, we would buy rather than assume it will still be available on Cyber Monday.
Join the Collectors Program Before the Sale
Allen Edmonds’ Collectors program is free and currently gives members $20 in Rewards Dollars for every 300 points earned, along with member benefits such as free shipping and exclusive access.
Black Friday discounts and reward eligibility can have their own terms, so we would not assume every benefit stacks. Still, if you’re buying a $300 to $500 pair of shoes anyway, it makes sense to have the account set up beforehand.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Probably not for a specific shoe.
Last year’s Black Friday event was expected to continue through Cyber Monday, but the sale was explicitly limited to selected styles and available inventory.
If the exact Park Avenue, Strand or Higgins Mill you want reaches your target price, there is little reason to gamble on another markdown.
Cyber Monday is more worth checking if you are flexible about the style and mainly interested in clearance.
