Hi! My name is Witold (pronounced "vee-told") and I am the founder of BlackerFriday.com. After many years working in corporate america, I decided it was time to take a break to pursue my real passion — helping people save money. Ever since I was a little boy selling pencils in the playground to my kindergarden friends, later collecting aluminum cans from all my neighbors in elementary school to support my baseball card addiction, eventually becoming an eBay Power Seller in my older years to support my college education, I had an eye for spotting deals. I’ve taken what I have learned over the years and built Blacker Friday to bring you the best Black Friday rumors, predictions, and news website. Fortunately I'm not alone in this - We have a great team of dedicated folks helping make this site possible. If you would like to connect with me you can do so on my Linkedin page, on our site’s Facebook page, or write me an email. Thanks for checking us out and I look forward to hearing from you!

Theory Black Friday 2025 Sale – What to Expect & When

Theory’s Black Friday 2025 sale is just around the corner, and based on past years, you can expect some clear patterns in timing, discounts, and the types of items that are usually included. Here’s a look at when the sale is expected, what items typically see the largest markdowns, the range of discounts, and examples from last year to give you a sense of what might return this year.

Expected Black Friday 2025 Sale Dates

Early access for app users is expected to begin on Thursday, November 14, 2025. This usually gives you a head start on popular sizes and styles before the general public can shop. Early access is likely to run through Sunday, November 17, 2025 at 3:59 AM EDT or until supplies last. After that, the sale opens to everyone at theory.com and is expected to continue through Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST. Free shipping, returns, and exchanges are often included for online orders during this period, though final sale items cannot be returned.

Last year showed that it wasn’t always worth jumping in early. On Black Friday itself, Theory surprised everyone with improved offers: up to 60% off select styles in the app and up to 40% off sitewide on everything else. Then on Cyber Monday, the sitewide 40% off returned for one day only, but with an extra 10% off on top. That meant the best deals were actually for those who waited until Cyber Monday (this year that’s on December 1, 2025). It’s possible a similar pattern could happen again in 2025, so patience might pay off.

Typical Discounts and Deals

Most full-price items included in the sale are expected to be around 25% off. Outerwear, including coats, jackets, and blazers, usually receives the deepest discounts, sometimes up to 40% off. Items marked at 41% off or higher are typically final sale, meaning you cannot return, exchange, or get credit for them. Some select items and new arrivals may be excluded, and the sale usually does not apply to Outlet stores or previous purchases. Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions.

Given last year’s pattern, it’s worth keeping an eye on the Theory app for surprise upgrades to discounts, especially on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

What to Buy

If you want the best value, outerwear is where you’re likely to see the largest savings. A winter coat or tailored blazer can cost a lot full price, so even a 30–40% discount is significant. Wardrobe staples like sweaters, simple tops, and pants in neutral colors often appear in the 25% off category, making them safe items to grab. High-end material pieces, like cashmere, wool, or leather, can also be worth checking if they are included, though final sale rules may apply.

Things Remembered Black Friday 2025 – What to Expect & When

If you have been thinking about picking up a personalized gift or something sentimental for yourself at Things Remembered, their annual Black Friday sale is usually the time when prices drop the most. Based on previous years, the store is expected to roll out a number of discounts on personalized frames, jewelry, and keepsakes, both online and in stores. Here’s everything you can expect to see here in 2025 based on past sales, including the timing, discount levels, and examples of what went on sale last year.

Black Friday 2025 Sale Dates and Timing

Things Remembered has been consistent with its Black Friday schedule over the past several years. For 2025, the Black Friday sale is expected to kick off online at thingsremembered.com on Thanksgiving Day itself, November 27, 2025. In stores, the sale is set to start the following day on Friday, November 28, 2025.

The sale is also expected to run through the weekend, ending on Sunday, November 30, 2025. That four-day stretch lines up with what we have seen in the past. Cyber Monday promotions sometimes follow, although those tend to be slightly different in focus, often leaning more on online-only exclusives.

Expected Discount Levels

The most common discount at Things Remembered during Black Friday has been 40% off select sale items. This percentage has been reliable over several years, so we expect to see it return again in 2025. It is not across the board on every single item in the store, but the selection is usually wide enough that most categories are included.

It is worth noting that exclusions often apply. For example, premium brands, certain collections, or brand-new arrivals may not be eligible for the discount. The best way to confirm is to check the fine print once the sale is live, either on the website or by asking a store manager.

Examples From Last Year

Looking at the 2024 Black Friday sale gives us a clear picture of what might be repeated in 2025. Here are some examples of items and their discounted prices from last year:

  • Personalized Family Tree Picture Frame – Originally priced around $50, it dropped to about $30 after the 40% discount.

  • Engraved Sterling Silver Necklace – A piece that retailed at $75 was marked down to $45.

  • Custom Ornament with Photo Insert – Sold for under $15 during the sale, making it one of the most affordable keepsakes.

  • Glass Decanter Set with Engraving – Regularly around $100, discounted to $60.

  • Leather Journal with Personalized Cover – Dropped from $40 to about $24.
