The 2025 sale was straightforward:

Dresses Should Be One of the Best Categories

Ashley Stewart carries a large selection of dresses, including workwear, casual styles, party dresses and more formal options.

If the 50% discount returns, dresses should be one of the more worthwhile categories because the dollar savings can add up quickly compared with lower-priced basics.

The main thing to watch is availability. Popular sizes and seasonal colors can disappear quickly during a broad half-off sale.

Tops, Pants and Everyday Basics Should Be Easy to Shop

Black Friday is also a practical time to stock up on pieces that get worn regularly.

Ashley Stewart’s 2025 promotion covered tops and pants along with most of the rest of the site.

A 50% discount on everyday items is strong enough that there is usually little reason to wait for a deeper markdown unless you are comfortable shopping clearance.

Clearance Could Have the Deepest Discounts

Outside special promotions, current economy shipping to the contiguous U.S. and Washington, D.C. is $9.95, with delivery generally taking three to seven business days after the order ships.

That makes a free-shipping offer a useful extra, especially after a 50% discount reduces the value of your cart.

Returns Are Free in Stores

Ashley Stewart currently allows eligible items to be returned within 30 days of the in-store purchase date or the online order’s ship date. In-store returns are free, while mail returns using the prepaid label have a $10 fee deducted from the refund.

Items must be new and unused with tags attached.

Some categories have special rules, and final-sale merchandise cannot be returned or exchanged.
