It’s still a bit early for JCPenny’s Black Friday ads to be released but we do expect to have a copy available around mid-November (you’ll see the Holiday Catalog a little bit before then).
However, being that we’ve been tracking JCPenny’s Thanksgiving weekend offers since 2012, we do expect to see some similar deals that we always do: A number of doorbuster deals, $20.00 bonus cash on purchases of $75.00 or more, early-bird coupon giveaway and alike. Store hours will probably stay the same with doors opening at 3:00PM on Thursday and remaining open through the night until Friday evening. More details will emerge around the second week of November. As soon as we have any ad leaks and information we will post the details here for you on BlackerFriday.com.
Until then, be sure to check out last year’s ad scan posted below. Happy bargain hunting!

Updated November 4th, 2016: JC Penny’s massive 70+ Black Friday ad has just been leaked! We’ve posted the first 10 pages below… for everything else, just follow the page links and the bottom of the page.
Unlike some other stores this year that are moving away from early opening times on Thanksgiving day, JC Penny is starting their sale already at 3:00PM on Thursday (that’s November 24th, 2016 this year). However most of the deals will also be available at jcpenny.com as well. One benefit of making it to the store at opening is that they will be giving away coupons to a select few customers – anywhere from an $10.00 off all the way to $500.00 off your total purchase.
Some of the featured deals this year include 1/10 carat diamond earning for $20.00, 25% off select Nike shoes and apparel, assorted kitchen appliances from just $7.99/each, Home Expressions 100% cotton bath towels for $2.99/each, and Samsung 26 CU Foot French Door refrigerator for $994.00 (that’s 40% off!).
JC Penny is a good store to pick up all your kitchen essentials this Black Friday. You’ll be able to pick up a 12-piece Stainless Steel Cookware set for $29.99 after $20.00 mail-in rebate (retails for $100.00). A 14-piece T-fal set of pots and pans is $49.99 after $20.00 mail-in rebate (the set normally costs $150.00). Be sure to also take a look at the Cuisinart Advantage 12-piece knife set on sale for $14.99.
Here is where it gets really interesting. JC Penny is advertising select small kitchen appliances for just $9.99/each after mail-in rebate. That includes a a toaster oven, glass blender, flip waffle maker, skillet, rice cooker, deep fryer, popcorn maker, toaster, and a few other items. That’s so cheap it makes us wonder how they can every make these items and sell them this low with any sort of profit.
On page 4 it’s worth taking a look at the Bella Air Fryer and Electric Pressure Cooker, both which are $49.00/each after $21.00 mail-in rebate. If you’ve never tried an Air Fryer before then it’s a pretty cool thing. That’s because you can “fry” your favorite foods, like french fries, without using any oil. It’s a good option for those like me with high cholesterol.
Page 5 in JC Penny’s Black Friday ad features the Kitchen Aid Artisan Mixer for $279.99 (after mail-in rebate) and the Keurig K55 Brewer for $89.99. However we’ve found that Kohl’s has the same deals but also offer Kohl’s Cash on top of that price as well that makes it a much better value overall.
Page 6 has some good deals on luggage, including up to 60% off all Samsonite bags and suitcases. You can also get a Queen-sized air mattress with built-in air pump on sale for $39.99.
