Sony Playstation VR Black Friday 2017 Deals

Black Friday is right around the corner and we’re once again tracking all of the latest deals on Playstation VR coming over Thanksgiving weekend. In terms of that to expect – It’s hard to say because we didn’t see any discounts at all last year (because it was just released a few weeks before BF in November 2016). But knowing Sony, you can expect to see a bundle offered likely for around $50.00 off or so. We will be updating this page as the 2017 offers trickle in – Stay tuned!

Are you planning on picking up a Playstation VR this holiday season or is the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive on your wish list? Find any deals on any virtual reality gaming consoles that are not yet posted here with us? Then let us know in the comments below.

Updated November 16, 2016: Each year we come up with out most popular holiday gift list and without a doubt, after having a chance to test it out ourselves, the all new Playstation VR that was just released last month on October 13th will easily make it to the top of a lot of people’s list this year. But if you’re looking for a deal on it this Black Friday, bad news is that we couldn’t find any store offering a special deal on. Rather, this year everyone is pushing the new Xbox One S (see 2016’s top Black Friday deals on Xbox One S) and Playstation 4 Slim (the Pro version isn’t on sale anywhere either).

So really if you can’t wait for it to go on a deep sale, then you can pick up either the headset alone for $399.99 or the launch bundle that includes the headset and 2 PlayStation Move motion controllers, PlayStation VR Worlds Game Disc, and PlayStation Camera for $499.99 (which is a bargain at around $200 less than the Oculus Rift). However you may have trouble finding it in stock at some of the stores. Here are Sony’s top Playstation VR authorized resellers:

Best Buy

If you haven’t a chance to demo the system then recommend that you check for the store nearest you that has a system available for you to try. In our area it seems like Best Buy and Gamestop are our two options. There are also touring around the country so you may be able to catch a chance to try out the system and some of the upcoming games near you – More information is posted on their site.
