Updated on Wednesday, September 2, 2026: Target has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but based on last year’s schedule, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026. We expect Target to start its holiday deals at the beginning of November, followed by an Early Black Friday sale and a larger Black Friday Week sale around Thanksgiving.

Target should once again have deals on Apple products, TVs, gaming systems, toys, LEGO, Dyson vacuums, Ninja appliances, clothing, holiday decor and more.

Expected Target Black Friday 2026 Dates

Here’s our current prediction:

These dates have not been confirmed by Target.

In 2025, Target started new weekly holiday deals on November 2 and ran its Early Black Friday Sale from November 6-8. The main Black Friday Week sale followed from November 23-29, with additional deals dropping November 27-29.

If Target keeps the same schedule in 2026, the dates above are our best estimate.

What Deals Can We Expect at Target?

Target’s 2025 Black Friday sale included discounts of up to 50% on tech, video games, toys, small appliances and floor care. Select Apple products were up to $200 off, PlayStation 5 consoles were $100 off and select LEGO sets were 40% off.

Here are some actual 2025 prices along with our predictions for comparable 2026 deals.

The PS5, Dyson and Beats prices appeared in Target’s 2025 Black Friday listings, while Target officially priced its exclusive Pokémon bundle at $34.99, down from $49.99.

The 2026 prices above are our predictions and have not been announced by Target.

Target Black Friday 2026 Electronics and Gaming Deals

Electronics should once again be one of Target’s biggest Black Friday categories.

In 2025, Target offered up to 50% off tech and video games, up to $200 off select Apple products and $100 off PlayStation 5 consoles. Select Beats headphones were 50% off.

For 2026, we’re expecting deals on:

• Apple AirPods, iPads and Apple Watches
• PlayStation 5 consoles and controllers
• Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 games and accessories
• Beats and Bose headphones
• Samsung TVs
• Streaming devices
• Smartwatches and other wearable tech

A PS5 Digital Edition around $350 to $400 would be a realistic target price, depending on what bundles and models Sony is selling by November.

We also expect Target to continue using gift cards or Target Circle offers on some electronics instead of simply lowering the price.

Target Black Friday 2026 Toy, Home and Clothing Deals

Target should have plenty of deals outside of electronics.

Last year’s Black Friday promotions included up to 50% off toys, small appliances and floor care, plus 40% off select LEGO sets, holiday decor, shoes, sweaters, beauty gift sets and other clothing.

For 2026, look for deals from brands such as:

• LEGO
• Barbie
• Hot Wheels
• Pokémon
• Fisher-Price
• Disney
• Dyson
• Ninja
• Instant Pot
• Levi’s

We think 40% off LEGO will be one of the better offers to watch for again. Target also tends to be competitive on holiday decor and family pajamas, with discounts around 30% to 50% likely.

Target said most of the items in its three-day Early Black Friday event in 2025 were discounted by 40% or more.

Target Circle Black Friday Deals

It’s worth joining Target Circle before Black Friday if you aren’t already a member.

Target Circle is free and gives members access to automatic deals, personalized offers and other promotions. Target also ran Circle-exclusive Deal of the Day offers throughout the 2025 holiday season.

You do not need the paid Target Circle 360 membership to get most Target Black Friday deals.

However, Target Circle 360 members received early access to select Black Friday deals in 2025, and we expect that perk to return in 2026.

Is Target Circle 360 Worth It for Black Friday?

Target Circle 360 is Target’s paid membership program.

The current regular price is:

Annual membership: $99 per year

Monthly membership: $10.99 per month

Target Circle Card holders can currently get the annual membership for $49 per year. Verified students, teachers, military members and qualifying government-assistance recipients may also qualify for discounted membership pricing.

Benefits include unlimited same-day delivery on eligible $35+ orders, free two-day shipping on many items, extra time for returns, monthly freebies and early access to some major sales.

For Black Friday shoppers, early access is probably the most interesting perk.

If Target again puts popular toys, collectibles or electronics behind an early-access window, Circle 360 could be useful for items likely to sell out.

Will Target Circle 360 Be Discounted for Black Friday 2026?

There’s a good chance Target runs some type of membership promotion again.

Target has offered the $99 annual Circle 360 membership for $49 during previous holiday shopping seasons. It also ran a 50% off Circle 360 promotion during Target Circle Deal Days earlier in 2026.

Our prediction:

Regular annual price: $99

Possible promotional price: $49

Possible discount: 50%

That said, Target Circle Card holders already qualify for the $49 annual price, so they don’t need to wait for Black Friday.

Target’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee

This is one reason you may not need to wait until Black Friday to buy something at Target.

In 2025, Target’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee ran from November 1 through December 24. If Target lowered its own price on an eligible item later in the season, shoppers could request a price adjustment.

We expect a similar policy for the 2026 holiday season.

Check the official 2026 terms once they are released, since exclusions and eligibility rules can change.

Will Target Be Open on Thanksgiving 2026?

We expect Target stores to be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026.

Target stores were closed on Thanksgiving in 2025, while shoppers could continue buying online and through the Target app.

On Black Friday 2025, Target stores opened at 6:00 a.m. local time.

Our prediction is that Target stores will again open around 6:00 a.m. on Black Friday 2026.

Target also gave the first 100 shoppers at each store a special holiday tote in 2025, with some bags containing prizes worth $99 to $350.

There’s no guarantee that giveaway will return, but we’ll be watching for another Black Friday morning promotion this year.

When Will the Target Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?

We expect Target to announce its early holiday deals around late October.

In 2025, Target announced its Early Black Friday Sale on October 30. The full Black Friday Week announcement followed on November 20.

Target’s nearly 80-page 2025 Black Friday ad was also released on November 20.

If the same timing returns, look for the first 2026 deals around October 29 or 30, followed by the main Target Black Friday 2026 ad around November 19 or 20.

We’ll update this page as soon as the official ad is released.

Target Cyber Monday 2026

Cyber Monday falls on November 30, 2026.

Target ran its 2025 Cyber Monday event from November 30 through December 1, with the offers available online.

For 2026, we’re expecting Target’s Cyber event to run around November 29-30.

Some Black Friday prices may carry over, while Target will likely add a new group of online-only deals.

Our Target Black Friday 2026 Prediction

Target’s Black Friday 2026 sale should start well before Black Friday itself.

Our best guess is an Early Black Friday sale around November 5-7, followed by Black Friday Week from around November 22-28.

Expect many of the biggest discounts to be on electronics, PlayStation products, Apple devices, headphones, toys, LEGO, Dyson vacuums, Ninja appliances, clothing and holiday decor.

Target Circle members should get additional offers, while Target Circle 360 members will likely receive early access to select Black Friday deals.

For now, all 2026 dates and prices listed above are predictions. We’ll update them once Target releases its official Black Friday schedule and ad.
