Updated on Thursday September 12, 2024: We still have a little bit of time left to go before BJ’s Wholesale Club kicks off their Black Friday 2024 sale, but if past years are any indication, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect; after tracking their deals for several years now, we’ve noticed that BJ’s typically follows a consistent pattern in their holiday promotions and that’s unlikely to change. Here’s what you can likely expect from BJ’s Wholesale Club this year, including the anticipated sale and ad release dates, types of discounts, and special offers they may feature during their Black Friday 2024 event:
- BJ’s is expected to kick off their Black Friday sale on on Friday November 22, 2024, exactly a week before Black Friday itself. However, a handful of 5-day doorbuster deals will likely be added online on Thanksgiving day an in-stores on Black Friday (November 28 & 29, 2024). The is expected to end on Cyber Monday, December 2, 2024, or while in-stock supplies last.
- BJ’s Black Friday 2024 ad is expected to be leaked on or around Friday November 15, 2024 (that’s based on when it came out last year). It should be anywhere from 50 to 70 pages long.
- In terms of the deals, a little bit of everything will be on sale; from TV’s to laptops, toys to clothing, and much more. You can scroll down to view last year’s ad and offer details for a general idea of the items typically available and average savings during their annual event.
- Remember, you’ll need to have an active membership in order to shop in-stores or online at BJ’s Wholesale Club (it normally costs $55 per year).

BJ’s Black Friday 2024 Sale Start & End Dates
Similar to Costco and Sam’s Club, BJ’s Wholesale Club typically gives you plenty of time to shop their Black Friday deals; the main sale should last around 11 days, starting a week before the long weekend and ending on Cyber Monday. They likely also will have a few pages of doorbuster deals that will begin online on Thanksgiving day itself (with a handful of deals available exclusively online) and in warehouses when doors open in the morning on Black Friday itself. And then afterwards, be on the look out for a “Gift More” event as we head closer to Christmas.
- Expected main BF sale start date: Friday November 22, 2024 (that’s a week before Black Friday).
- Expected 5-Day Doorbuster Deals: Beginning online on Thursday November 28, 2024 (that’s on Thanksgiving day) and in-stores on on Black Friday.
- Expected BF sale end date: Monday December 2, 2024 or while supplies last (that’s on Cyber Monday).
- Expected “Gift More Sale”: December 1-14, 2024.
