Updated on Wednesday, September 2, 2026: Kohl’s has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but last year’s schedule gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect.
Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026. We expect Kohl’s to start its Black Friday promotions several weeks earlier, followed by a full week of deals around Thanksgiving.
Kohl’s will likely bring back extra Kohl’s Cash, percentage-off coupons and doorbuster deals on clothing, shoes, home goods, small appliances, toys and beauty products.
Expected Kohl’s Black Friday 2026 Dates
Here’s our current prediction based on Kohl’s 2025 schedule:

These dates are predictions and have not been confirmed by Kohl’s.
In 2025, Kohl’s ran a Black Friday Early Access sale from November 7-9, followed by its main Black Friday Week from November 23-29. Doorbusters started online at kohls.com on Thanksgiving Day and in stores at 5:00 a.m. on Black Friday.
If Kohl’s follows the same Friday-to-Sunday and Thanksgiving week schedule in 2026, the dates above are our best estimate.
What Deals Can We Expect?
Kohl’s Black Friday sale tends to be strongest on home goods, kitchen appliances, clothing, shoes, toys, bedding and floor care.
Here are some actual prices from Kohl’s 2025 Black Friday sale, along with what we think similar deals could cost in 2026.

Kohl’s Black Friday 2026 Home and Kitchen Deals
Home and kitchen products should once again be one of the biggest parts of Kohl’s Black Friday sale.
In 2025, Kohl’s offered up to 60% off kitchen and dining products. Select Toastmaster appliances dropped to $11.75 during the doorbuster sale, while The Big One bath towels and pillows were just $2.99. Select Shark robot and cordless vacuums were $99.99.
For 2026, we expect deals from brands such as:
- Ninja
- KitchenAid
- Shark
- Keurig
- Cuisinart
- Instant Pot
- Toastmaster
- The Big One
- Cuddl Duds
We think small kitchen appliances could start around $10 to $15, with larger Ninja and KitchenAid products discounted by 30% to 50%.
Floor care should also be a major category, especially Shark vacuums and robot vacuums.
Clothing, Shoes and Bedding Deals
Kohl’s usually has much stronger Black Friday clothing deals than retailers such as Walmart and Best Buy.
Last year, women’s and juniors sweaters were $14.99, Koolaburra by UGG throws were $19.99, and select boots were $19.99 or less. Kohl’s also offered up to 50% off family pajamas and 25% off select Nike, adidas, New Balance, Converse and Under Armour shoes.
For 2026, look for:
- Sweaters around $12.99-$14.99
- Pajama sets around $10-$20
- Boots starting around $20
- Throws around $15-$20
- Athletic shoes around 20%-30% off
- Jackets and outerwear up to 50%-60% off
Nike, adidas, Under Armour, Levi’s, Carter’s and Sonoma Goods for Life should once again be among the brands to watch.
Toy and LEGO Deals
Toys should also get some fairly large discounts.
In 2025, Kohl’s offered 30% off select LEGO sets during its Early Access sale and 50% off select toys, games and puzzles during its Black Friday doorbuster event.
We expect similar offers in 2026.
A 30% discount on LEGO is probably the most realistic prediction, although select sets could reach 40% off.
Other likely brands include Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, Melissa & Doug, Nerf and Disney.
Sephora at Kohl’s Black Friday 2026 Deals
Sephora at Kohl’s has become a bigger part of the Black Friday sale.
Last year, Kohl’s advertised up to 50% off select Sephora beauty products during Black Friday Week.
We expect another mix of daily or limited-time offers on makeup, skincare, fragrance and hair care in 2026.
One important thing to remember is that Kohl’s Cash generally cannot be earned on Sephora purchases and cannot be redeemed on Sephora at Kohl’s merchandise.
So a Sephora deal may still be good, but don’t count the value of Kohl’s Cash when comparing it with Sephora’s own sale or other retailers.
Expect $15 Kohl’s Cash for Every $50 Spent
This is probably the most important part of Kohl’s Black Friday sale.
During Black Friday Week in 2025, shoppers earned $15 in Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent. Kohl’s also offered a 15% off coupon on qualifying purchases.
We expect the $15 for $50 Kohl’s Cash promotion to return for Black Friday 2026.
For example, if you spend $200 on qualifying items, you could receive about $60 in Kohl’s Cash to use during the later redemption period.
Just keep in mind that Kohl’s Cash is not the same as an instant discount. You have to come back and use it during the specified redemption dates, and some products are excluded.
Should You Join Kohl’s Rewards Before Black Friday?
Yes. Kohl’s Rewards is free, so there really isn’t much downside if you plan on shopping at Kohl’s.
Members currently earn 5% in Kohl’s Rewards on qualifying purchases. Shoppers using a Kohl’s Card can earn 7.5% in rewards. Those rewards are converted into Kohl’s Cash in $5 increments.
That is separate from promotional Kohl’s Cash events.
So during Black Friday, a qualifying purchase may earn regular Kohl’s Rewards in addition to promotional Kohl’s Cash.
Kohl’s Rewards members also occasionally receive special coupons and other offers.
Will Kohl’s Have a 15% or 20% Off Black Friday Coupon?
Most likely.
Kohl’s offered an extra 15% off qualifying purchases throughout its 2025 Black Friday Week sale. During Cyber Days, the discount increased to 20% on qualifying purchases.
We expect something similar in 2026.
The important word is “qualifying.” Many major brands and products are excluded from Kohl’s percentage-off coupons, so don’t assume the coupon will work on everything in the ad.
Will Kohl’s Be Open on Thanksgiving 2026?
We expect Kohl’s stores to be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026.
Kohl’s stores were closed on Thanksgiving in 2025, although Black Friday doorbuster deals were available online beginning at 12:01 a.m. CT. Stores then opened at 5:00 a.m. local time on Black Friday.
If that schedule returns, we expect:
Thanksgiving, November 26: Stores closed, online doorbusters available
Black Friday, November 27: Stores open around 5:00 a.m.
Store hours may vary by location.
Will Kohl’s Bring Back Its Black Friday Morning Giveaway?
There’s a good chance.
In 2025, the first 200 shoppers at every Kohl’s store on Black Friday received promotional Kohl’s Cash worth between $5 and $100. Ten shoppers nationwide also won $10,000 in cash.
Kohl’s has offered Black Friday morning giveaways in multiple years, so we would not be surprised to see another promotion in 2026.
If it returns, expect details to be announced shortly before Black Friday.
Kohl’s Cyber Monday 2026
Cyber Monday falls on November 30, 2026.
Last year, Kohl’s actually stretched Cyber Monday into a two-day Cyber Days event running November 30 through December 1.
The 2025 sale included discounts of up to 60%, a 20% off qualifying purchase coupon and $15 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent.
For 2026, we expect Kohl’s Cyber Days to run around November 29-30, with Cyber Monday bringing some of the better online offers.
When Will the Kohl’s Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?
We expect the first Kohl’s Black Friday 2026 ad or Early Access deals to arrive in early November.
Last year, Kohl’s announced its Black Friday schedule and Early Access deals on November 7. The main Black Friday deals were released closer to Thanksgiving week.
Our best guess is that the first 2026 ad will appear around November 5-6.
We’ll update this page as soon as Kohl’s announces the official dates and deals.
Our Kohl’s Black Friday 2026 Prediction
Kohl’s Black Friday sale should once again start early, with an Early Access event around November 6-8 followed by the main sale from around November 22-28.
We expect some of the best deals to be on small appliances, vacuums, clothing, shoes, bedding, toys and holiday gifts.
Prices such as $2.99 towels and pillows, $10 to $15 small appliances, $15 sweaters and $20 boots are all realistic possibilities based on last year’s sale.
The biggest advantage at Kohl’s may once again be the combination of sale prices, a percentage-off coupon and $15 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent.
For now, all 2026 dates and prices listed above are predictions. We’ll update them when Kohl’s releases its official Black Friday ad.
