Updated on Sunday, September 6, 2026: H&M has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but last year’s event followed a pretty clear schedule.

We expect H&M Members to get early access on Wednesday, November 25, followed by 30% off online for everyone on Thanksgiving Day. Stores should join the sale on Black Friday, November 27.

Cyber Monday may be the more interesting part of the event. Last year H&M advertised savings of up to 60% across the site once its Cyber Monday sale arrived.

These are predictions. We will update this page when H&M confirms its 2026 offer.

When Will H&M’s Black Friday 2026 Sale Start?

Our best prediction is Wednesday, November 25 for H&M Members.

Last year, members received 30% off early on November 26, one day before Thanksgiving. The public sale then moved online on Thanksgiving Day, followed by the same 30% discount in stores and online on Black Friday.

Following the same pattern this year would put member early access on November 25, the online sale on November 26 and the in-store event on November 27.

H&M also tends to run smaller promotions before the main event. Its official 2025 Black Friday page said shoppers could expect limited-time deals throughout November, so you may see plenty of markdowns before the 30% offer begins.

How Much Will H&M Take Off?

30% off is our strongest prediction for the main Black Friday offer.

H&M offered 30% off to members on November 26, 2025, followed by 30% off online on Thanksgiving and 30% off in stores and online on Black Friday.

One important change from 2024: last year’s 30% promotion did not apply to sale merchandise.

The 2025 exclusions included sale items, furniture and lamps, H&M Studio, guest designer collaborations, select special collections and gift cards. Shoppers could use one $5 Member Reward, but the offer generally could not be combined with another promotion.

That is worth keeping in mind because H&M’s sale section may already have some products below the Black Friday price.

H&M Black Friday 2026 Price Predictions

If the 30% discount returns, here are some realistic examples using H&M’s current regular prices.

Current H&M pricing includes men’s Loose Fit Hoodies at $24.99, wide-leg women’s jeans around $39.99 to $44.99, women’s puffers from $59.99 and kids’ puffer jackets from about $34.99.

These are examples, not confirmed Black Friday deals. Styles and regular prices can change before November.

Is 30% Off Actually a Good H&M Deal?

For a new or full-price item, yes.

For something already on sale, maybe not.

That is the biggest distinction we would make when shopping H&M this year.

H&M currently has plenty of individual items already marked down 40% to 50%. For example, some women’s wide-leg jeans that regularly cost $39.99 are currently $19.99, and some men’s $24.99 hoodies have also dropped as low as $12.49.

So a blanket 30% Black Friday discount is not automatically H&M’s lowest price.

We would use Black Friday for current-season pieces, newer colors and styles where you want a particular size.

For older merchandise, check the regular sale section before buying.

The Item We Would Shop First: Winter Coats

Coats and jackets are probably where the 30% sale makes the most sense.

First, the dollar savings are larger. A $69.99 jacket at 30% off comes down to about $48.99.

Second, winter sizes can disappear quickly. Waiting for a deeper December markdown may save another $10 or $15, but it does not help if your size is gone.

Last year’s Black Friday pricing also put a $59.99 puffer at $41.99, which is almost exactly what another 30% event would produce. Your existing 2024 ad already gives readers a good historical reference for that price.

Jeans are similar. If you want one specific fit, wash and size, 30% off is reasonable. If you just want the cheapest pair of jeans possible, we would wait for a stronger category or clearance sale.

Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

This is where H&M gets interesting.

On Black Friday 2025, the main offer was 30% off. By Saturday, November 29, H&M was already promoting Cyber Monday savings of up to 60% across the site. Cyber Monday itself was advertised as the retailer’s biggest sitewide markdown event.

That does not mean every $50 item suddenly became $20.

“Up to 60% off” covered a range of markdowns, and individual items could be discounted by different amounts.

Still, we think Cyber Monday is worth checking.

If you really like something at 30% off, we would not risk losing it just to chase a possible Cyber Monday markdown.

If you are browsing rather than hunting for one specific item, waiting could pay off.

H&M Members Should Shop First

Joining H&M’s loyalty program before Thanksgiving makes sense.

Membership is free, and last year members received access to the 30% Black Friday promotion before everyone else. Members could also use one $5 Member Reward with the offer.

The bigger benefit is early access, not necessarily an extra percentage discount.

For coats, jeans and popular holiday styles, getting a full day head start can matter.

We would also save anything you are considering to your favorites before the sale. That makes it much easier to see which products are included once the promotion goes live.

Don’t Assume Sale Prices Will Stack

This is one point I would make very clear because your old article described the 2024 rules.

In 2024, H&M allowed the 30% Black Friday discount to work on already reduced merchandise.

In 2025, it did not.

H&M specifically excluded sale merchandise from the 30% offer last year.

For 2026, we would assume sale items will again be excluded unless H&M says otherwise.

That means shoppers should compare the sale rack price with the Black Friday price rather than expecting another 30% to come off.

What About H&M Home?

H&M Home should be part of the sale again, but there will probably be some exclusions.

Last year’s Black Friday offer excluded furniture and lamps, while other Home merchandise was promoted as part of the event.

Textiles, cushion covers, tableware and smaller decorative items are therefore more likely to get the Black Friday discount.

H&M currently sells many cushion covers in the $12.99 to $19.99 range, so a 30% promotion would put them around $9 to $14 before any separate markdowns.

For larger furniture or lighting, we would not count on Black Friday.

When Will the H&M Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?

We expect the main details during the week before Thanksgiving.

H&M does not usually release a big traditional circular far in advance. Instead, deals appear through H&M.com, the app, email and the Member program.

Last year H&M was also running separate promotions throughout November before the main 30% Black Friday offer arrived.

Once H&M confirms its 2026 sale, we’ll update this page with the exact dates, discount, exclusions, member offer and Cyber Monday details.
