Updated on Sunday, November 23, 2025: Family Dollar’s 2025 Black Friday ad has officially been released, and the sale begins today (see all 14 pages below!). The event includes a full week of discounts on holiday items, toys, appliances, apparel, and select gift cards. In addition to the weeklong offers, there will also be a separate four-day promotion starting Wednesday with even deeper savings. Below is a complete breakdown of all confirmed deals.

Sale Dates and Store Information

Family Dollar’s Black Friday sale runs from Sunday, November 23 through Saturday, November 29, 2025. The four-day sale begins Wednesday, November 26 and ends Saturday, November 29. These special prices are available only during that window.

Most Family Dollar locations are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays. Hours may vary by store. All offers are available while supplies last, and some items may not be stocked in every location. Sale prices do not apply in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The ad also states that there are no sales to dealers and that some quantities are limited.

Week-Long Deals: November 23–29, 2025

Holiday decoration discounts are a central part of the weeklong portion of the sale. Holiday Mini Light Sets (100 count) are marked down by 50% from their regular price of $4. Artificial Christmas trees ranging from 3.5 to 7.5 feet are also reduced by 50% and were originally priced at $20 or more.

Gift card discounts continue to be part of the promotion as well. During the full sale week, several popular gift cards are being offered at 15% off. The ad mentions brands such as Roblox, Buffalo Wild Wings, PlayStation, Xbox, Domino’s, Cracker Barrel, and others. Inventory for gift card deals is typically limited and subject to each store’s stock.

Four-Day Sale: November 26–29, 2025

The largest portion of Family Dollar’s Black Friday savings begins on Wednesday. A wide selection of toys priced between $5 and $45 are included in a buy one, get one free promotion. Customers must purchase two items, and the free item must be of equal or lesser value.

Clothing and home comfort items are a major part of the four-day sale. Sleepwear and fleece apparel for adults and children are both included in separate buy one, get one free offers. Sizes range from women’s small through 3X, men’s medium through 2X, and children’s sizes 4 through 14/16. A ladies’ plush robe and headband set is also included in a similar buy one, get one free promotion. Slippers for the family, typically priced between $5 and $12, are included as well.

Home and gift items continue to play a major role. Plush throws and throw-with-socks gift sets from Interiors by Design are marked as a buy one, get one 50% off offer. Several smaller character electronics, such as headphones, microphones, lanterns, projector lamps, and walkie-talkies, are also listed as buy one, get one free. General Notes and Shopping Tips

Family Dollar’s Black Friday event does not focus on large electronics or major doorbusters like some larger retailers. Instead, the sale emphasizes practical savings on everyday items, holiday necessities, small gifts, and affordable apparel. Because many of the offers are structured as buy one, get one promotions, popular sizes and styles may sell out quickly.

Shoppers planning to take advantage of appliance deals will need to use the Family Dollar app to clip Smart Coupons before checkout. Gift card discounts also tend to disappear early, especially on gaming and restaurant cards. Arriving earlier in the day can increase the likelihood of finding the best selection.

How This Compares to Other Black Friday Sales

Family Dollar’s sale is obviously smaller than what you’d see at Walmart, Target, or Best Buy. But if you’re not chasing doorbusters like TVs and game consoles, the deals are actually pretty practical. It’s more about small savings on useful items—groceries, wrapping paper, socks, snacks, gifts for kids, or decorations.

If you’re looking for big-ticket items, you won’t find them here. But if you just want to save a little on everyday stuff or fill in the gaps in your holiday shopping list, it’s a useful stop.
