Hi! My name is Witold (pronounced "vee-told") and I am the founder of BlackerFriday.com. After many years working in corporate america, I decided it was time to take a break to pursue my real passion — helping people save money. Ever since I was a little boy selling pencils in the playground to my kindergarden friends, later collecting aluminum cans from all my neighbors in elementary school to support my baseball card addiction, eventually becoming an eBay Power Seller in my older years to support my college education, I had an eye for spotting deals. I’ve taken what I have learned over the years and built Blacker Friday to bring you the best Black Friday rumors, predictions, and news website. Fortunately I'm not alone in this - We have a great team of dedicated folks helping make this site possible. If you would like to connect with me you can do so on my Linkedin page, on our site’s Facebook page, or write me an email. Thanks for checking us out and I look forward to hearing from you!

Dillard’s Black Friday 2025 Sale – What to Expect & When

Updated on Monday, November 10, 2025: Whether you’re aiming to shop in person or online, Dillard’s is one of those department stores that tends to keep things pretty consistent year to year—so there’s quite a bit we can already expect. While they’re not known for the rock-bottom prices you might see at places like Walmart or Target, they do offer some pretty solid deals, especially on brand-name items that don’t always go on sale.

Here’s a breakdown of what you should know: from when the sale will likely begin, to the types of deals to watch for, what kind of discounts to expect, and even a look back at what was on sale last year so you can plan your shopping list.

When Does Dillard’s Black Friday 2025 Start?

First things first—timing. Dillard’s usually doesn’t start its main Black Friday sale early. Unlike some stores that roll out deals the entire week of Thanksgiving, Dillard’s typically holds back the biggest discounts until actual Black Friday, which this year lands on November 28, 2025.

You might see a few early promotions during the week leading up to Thanksgiving—things like select markdowns on clothing or home items—but if you’re holding out for the best deals, they’re likely to drop on Black Friday itself.

Store hours usually run from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. local time on Black Friday. Of course, it’s always good to double-check your local store’s hours since they can vary slightly by location. And as with most retailers these days, you’ll be able to shop the sale online too—but not everything is available digitally. Some of the better doorbuster deals are in-store only, so if you’re really after something specific, it might be worth the trip.

Will There Be Online Deals?

Yes—Dillard’s offers most of their Black Friday deals both online at dillards.com and in stores, though a few offers each year tend to be in-store exclusives. For instance, last year, things like Estee Lauder gift sets and Bogg Bags were only available in-store, while others, like sunglasses or designer handbags, were available both ways.

Dillard’s also doesn’t do free shipping on everything automatically, which is something to keep in mind. Usually, there’s a free shipping threshold (historically it’s been around $150), so if you’re only buying one or two items, you might end up paying for shipping unless there’s a site-wide promo.

What Kind of Deals Can You Expect?

Dillard’s isn’t really the type of store where you’ll see 60–70% off across the board. Their Black Friday strategy usually focuses on brand-specific discounts, category markdowns, and seasonal deals, especially on premium and designer brands.

Most discounts tend to fall in the 20% to 30% off range, which might not sound huge, but it’s pretty decent considering the brands they carry often don’t go on sale at all during the rest of the year.

Based on last year’s deals and what we typically see, here’s a general idea of the discount levels you can expect this year:

  • Designer Handbags – Around 25% off
  • Bogg Bags – 25% off, but in-store only
  • Kendra Scott Jewelry – 30% off
  • Sunglasses (including brands like Ray-Ban) – 30% off
  • Estee Lauder – 20% off, in-store only
  • Samsonite Luggage – 25% off
  • Spode & Lennox Holiday Dinnerware – Around 30% off
  • Waterford Crystal – Typically around 20% off

Dollar General Black Friday 2025 Sale – The Ad is Posted!

Updated on Monday, November 10, 2025: Dollar General’s Black Friday 2025 ad has just leaked! See all 12 pages posted below. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s coming at this year’s event.

When Did Dollar General Black Friday 2025 Ad Come Out?

As expected, the ad dropped on Monday, November 10, 2025. This year’s ad is longer than usual, spanning 12 pages instead of the typical four.

When Does the Sale Start and End?

Most of Dollar General’s Black Friday deals will run from Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 27, 2025) through Saturday night (November 29, 2025), or while supplies last. Some items may be Black Friday-only specials, available only on November 28, 2025, while a few deals will go live early on November 23, 2025.

Stores will be open during the sale, including Thanksgiving Day. Typical hours are 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., though not all locations follow the same schedule. For instance, stores in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Maine are closed on Thanksgiving due to state laws, so sales at these locations will start on Friday instead.

Where Can You Shop?

Most of Dollar General’s Black Friday deals are in-store only. Some limited items may be available online, but the biggest savings are geared toward foot traffic. Not every store will carry every deal, so if you live near multiple locations, consider checking around or calling ahead to confirm availability.

A few important notes:

  • No rain checks are offered during Black Friday, so once an item sells out, it’s gone.
  • Dollar General may impose purchase limits on popular items to prevent bulk buying or reselling. This is standard for most retailers during large sales.

What Kind of Deals Can You Expect?

Dollar General’s Black Friday sale typically focuses on affordable holiday items, small kitchen gadgets, personal care products, pet supplies, and giftable goods. While you won’t find high-end electronics or large appliances, the store is a great place for useful, budget-friendly discounts.

Here are some highlights from this year’s ad:

1. BOGO Deals (Buy One, Get One Offers)

  • BOGO 75% Off: Buy two items of equal or lesser value and get the second item 75% off. Usually applied to holiday-themed items, toys, or seasonal décor.
  • BOGO 50% Off Holiday Candles: Ideal for gifting or adding cozy scents to your home.
  • BOGO Free on Select Pet Food: Certain brands of dog and cat food are included—a good deal for pet owners.

2. Holiday Decor and Accessories

  • 50% Off Christmas Trees, Lights, Tree Toppers, Skirts, and Ornaments: Affordable festive décor, perfect for budget-conscious shoppers.

3. Small Appliances

  • Select Appliances $5–$15: Includes personal blenders, mini waffle makers, and small coffee machines. Great for stocking stuffers or starter kitchen tools.

4. Gift Cards

  • 15%–20% Off Select Gift Cards: Brands include Xbox, Lowe’s, and others. Availability varies by location.
  • 20% Off Multi-Pack Gift Cards: Often includes restaurant or retail bundles, ideal for gifting or personal use.
