You can expect early Black Friday deals to begin on Thursday, November 13, 2025 online at macys.com. That’s two full weeks before Thanksgiving. The main wave of deals is expected to roll out on Sunday, November 23, 2025, just four days before Thanksgiving Day. The biggest offers will hit between that date and Saturday, November 29, 2025, which is the day after Black Friday. Just keep in mind that many deals are only available while supplies last, and once something sells out, it may not come back in stock during the sale.

Also, based on last year, Macy’s will likely offer limited-time coupons during the main sale week. These apply to select departments and usually range from 10% to 20% off depending on the category. They don’t work on items labeled as “Specials” or those that already have bonus offers.

Likely Discount Levels

Looking at the 2024 sale as a guide, Macy’s will likely offer discounts that range from 10% up to 75% off across different categories. Some brands and departments will only see light markdowns, while others could be heavily discounted. The 75% off deals are usually found in categories like jewelry, bedding, or clearance fashion. Electronics and designer items tend to get smaller price cuts, but still enough to make them worth considering.

In addition to the discounts, expect to see limited-time doorbusters during the peak shopping days (like Black Friday itself, and the weekend after). These doorbusters are often promoted online and in-store, and they usually include some of the steepest price drops.

Popular Categories to Watch

If you want to make the most of the sale, it’s helpful to know which product categories typically have the best offers. Macy’s doesn’t discount everything across the board the same way, so here’s where you’ll most likely find solid savings:

Jewelry and Watches

Jewelry is one of Macy’s biggest Black Friday categories, and in past years, discounts went as high as 75% off.

Last year, 14k gold jewelry was marked down by as much as 75%.
Pandora jewelry was 30% off.
Fine watches from brands like Bulova, Citizen, Seiko, Movado, and Michael Kors were discounted between 30% to 50%.
G-Shock watches also had markdowns around 50% off.

This department usually includes a lot of fine jewelry pieces that are only available at select store locations or online, so make sure to check availability depending on where you shop.

Designer suits, blazers, and pants were marked down by 50% to 70%.
Calvin Klein clothing saw 50% to 60% off.
Carter’s and First Impressions snowsuits and kids’ apparel were also discounted at 50% to 60%.
Columbia jackets and outdoor wear had savings around 20% off.
Nike apparel saw select items with 25% off.
Women’s shoes from Madden Girl, GUESS, and others were around 40% to 50% off.
UGG boots and designer shoes had discounts up to 25% off.

This year should bring similar markdowns, especially across Macy’s private labels and top-selling name brands.

Home and Bedding

If you’re in the market for home essentials, bedding, or seasonal décor, this is one of Macy’s strongest categories during Black Friday. Expect major markdowns like these:

Hotel Collection bedding was 60% off.
Charter Club bedding was marked down by 50% to 65%.
Samsonite and Delsey luggage were discounted by 60% to 65%.
Michael Aram and Kate Spade home décor was marked down by 20% to 40%.
Barware and serveware from brands like Godinger, Mikasa, and Thirstystone saw 60% off.
Women’s candles and holiday décor were around 40% to 50% off.

If you’re buying for your own home or looking for giftable items, these are usually safe bets during Macy’s Black Friday week.

Appliances and Kitchen Gear

Black Friday is always a good time to shop for small appliances, and Macy’s typically includes some big-name kitchen brands in its markdowns.
