The moment when Christmas is behind is when our inbox gets blasted with end of year sales from just about every store we’re signed up to (and that’s a lot!). This includes Walmart where you not only can you pick up all that leftover decor to use next year, but all the other things that need to pushed out to make room for next seasons items.
We won’t go into all the details so you can check out the deals for yourself at your local store or online. The sale is expected to last just a few days at the very most… plus some items will likely sell out before that.
Did Santa give you some cash under the Christmas tree this year? Then get want you really wanted and save big at Walmart’s post-christmas end of year sale stating today, Christmas day, and ending tomorrow on December 26th. This year’s highlights include $70.00 off on Apple iPad mini 2 16GB WiFi (from $269.00 to $199.00), $30.00 off on Keurig Elite K40 Single Serve Coffeemaker Brewing System (from $109.99 to $79.97), $180.00 off on SCEPTRE X405BV-F 40″ LED Class 1080P HDTV (from $399.99 to $219.99), and select Playstation 4 and Xbox One games at up to $20.00 off. You’ll also get free shipping if you decide to avoid the crowds and shop online. Details in-store and at walmart.com.
Now with Christmas behind us, some of the best sales of the year are beggining. Walmart has just released their after christmas sale ad and this year it’s pretty good. Select toys and holiday decor is on sale for up to 50% off. You’ll save on your tax software form TurboTax and H&R Block (yes it’s time to start thinking about your taxes). Xbox and Playstation games are also on sale for as low as $14.96/each. And if you didn’t get that iPhone 6 that you wanted for christmas, Walmart is selling them contract-free.
Another exciting thing that Walmart just introduced is that they will exchange your gift cards from other stores (over 200 stores on their list!) for a Walmart one. So let’s say you got one card for Best Buy from Mom, a Kmart gift card from Grandma, and a Sears card from your aunt Sally, you can take all three of them and exchange it for one gift card for Walmart. Although they won’t give you 100% of the face value, it’s a great way to get rid of gift cards that you probably would have never used anyway.
