Updated on Wednesday, September 2, 2026: Walmart has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but based on last year’s schedule, we already have a good idea of what to expect.
Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026. Walmart will likely start its deals well before then, with an early event in mid-November followed by a larger sale during Thanksgiving week.

In 2025, Walmart ran its first Black Friday event from November 14-16, followed by a larger event from November 25-30. Walmart+ members received five hours of early online access at walmart.com before each sale.
If Walmart follows the same pattern this year, the dates above are our best estimate.
What Deals Can We Expect?
Walmart usually puts the biggest focus on TVs, electronics, gaming, toys, kitchen appliances, vacuums, clothing and holiday gifts.
Here are some actual Walmart Black Friday prices from 2025, along with what we think similar deals could cost in 2026.

Walmart Black Friday 2026 TV Deals
TVs should once again be one of Walmart’s biggest Black Friday categories.
Last year, Walmart offered an 85-inch TCL 4K Roku TV for $498 and a 98-inch TCL QLED TV for $998.
For 2026, we’re expecting prices somewhere around:
- 50-inch to 55-inch 4K TVs: $138-$198
- 65-inch 4K TVs: $198-$248
- 75-inch 4K TVs: $298-$398
- 85-inch 4K TVs: $448-$498
- 98-inch TVs: $898-$998
TCL, Hisense, onn., Samsung and LG are all likely to be featured.
Electronics, Gaming and Apple Deals
Walmart should also have plenty of deals on gaming systems, controllers, laptops, tablets, headphones and Apple products.
In 2025, select PlayStation controllers dropped to $54 and the Meta Quest 3S 128GB fell to $249.
For 2026, we could see PlayStation controllers around $49-$54 and some VR headsets around $199-$249.
We also expect discounts on:
- PlayStation and Xbox consoles
- Nintendo products
- AirPods
- Apple Watch models
- iPads
- Gaming laptops and monitors
- Beats and other headphones
- Chromebooks and Windows laptops
Older Apple products will probably see the biggest price cuts.
Home, Kitchen and Dyson Deals
Walmart usually runs strong Black Friday deals on kitchen appliances, vacuums and home products.
Last year’s sale included:
- Blackstone 28-inch griddle for $157
- Ninja Luxe Cafe for $599.99
- Keurig Iced Essentials for $44.97
- Dyson V12 Detect Slim for $399.99
- Dyson Supersonic Nural for $259.99
- Carote 15-piece cookware set for $53.99
For 2026, we expect similar pricing, especially on older models.
Look for deals from Ninja, Dyson, Shark, Blackstone, Keurig, Beautiful by Drew Barrymore and Mainstays.
Toy, Clothing and Gift Deals
Walmart should once again have a large number of gifts under $20.
Last year, some of the featured prices included:

- LEGO Speed Champions 2-pack for $25
- 20-inch kids bike for $60
- Wrangler men’s jeans for $13
- Levi’s Signature Denim for $15

We expect similar deals on LEGO, Barbie, Hot Wheels, Pokémon, Nerf, clothing, beauty products and holiday gifts in 2026.
Walmart+ Black Friday 2026 Early Access
Walmart+ will likely be useful again for shoppers trying to get the most popular deals.
In 2025, paid Walmart+ members received five hours of early online access before the Black Friday events and Cyber Monday.
We expect Walmart to bring back early access in 2026.
You do not need Walmart+ to shop the sale, but members may get a head start on limited-stock TVs, gaming products, toys and other popular items.
Will Walmart+ Be $49 for Black Friday 2026?
The regular Walmart+ price is currently $98 per year or $12.95 per month.
Walmart has offered the annual membership for $49 around Black Friday in past years, including during the 2025 holiday season.
Our prediction for 2026:
Regular annual price: $98
Possible Black Friday price: $49
Possible discount: 50%
Nothing has been announced yet, but we think there’s a good chance the $49 Walmart+ deal returns.
Eligible students and qualifying government-assistance recipients can already get Walmart+ for $49 per year or $6.47 per month through Walmart+ Student and Walmart+ Assist.
Will Walmart Be Open on Thanksgiving?
We expect Walmart stores to be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026.
Walmart stores were closed on Thanksgiving in 2025 and have followed the same policy for several years.
Online shopping should still be available, and the main Black Friday sale may already be underway online before stores open on Friday.
When Will the Walmart Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?
We expect Walmart to announce its Black Friday plans in late October, followed by the first featured deals or ad in early to mid-November.
Walmart now releases its Black Friday deals in stages rather than publishing one large ad weeks in advance.
If last year’s timing repeats, the first 2026 ad could arrive around November 12, with the main Black Friday ad following around November 23.
We’ll update this page as soon as Walmart releases the official 2026 dates and deals.

Two events this year. November 10 and 24, 2023.
Walmart is becoming like Kmart of the past. There #1 and each year treat the customer worse. Like Kmart did in the past and it allowed Walmart very fast to take over. Maybe the same will happen to Walmart.

Hmmm Walmart is one of the richest companies in the US and 2nd to Amazon on Online sales. Do not really know what you expect at a discount store. Who deals with associates online anyway?
Walmart has neglected to update their return policies for their early Black Friday deals. Other stores have allowed for this, such as Best Buy- if you buy an item today you have until January 16, 2021 for returns-Walmart has not done this. I even contacted customer support. I wanted to get my daughter a laptop but if it’s not what she wants, they confirmed it cannot be returned unless it’s within 30 days of purchase. This defeats the purpose for many of us. It’s a Christmas gift, I’m not going to give it to her before Christmas. Very disappointed in Walmart for neglecting something so important. No where does it say ANYTHING in regards to their return policies for Black Friday deal days. So be aware, if you buy a gift and the person you give it to would rather something different or it’s not right for them, Walmart will not do a return. That’s what I was informed. If anyone has additional clarification on this and can provide a link, please do. I’m just really upset and disappointed. I was all excited, waiting for today, thinking I would be crossing my daughters laptop off the list and now I can’t buy it because they insist the policies haven’t been updated and any return would need to be done within 30 days. I can’t spend that kind of money, even if it IS a really good deal, only for her to want something different and be unable to return it. Very upset.

That comment was from a year ago why are you even committing? And that was rude because unlike you she’s clearly a mother who cares about her child and their likes and dislikes. A laptop for a kid isn’t about being grateful. The one she gets could be to slow, not have enough battery life, low storage, etc for the stuff she needs to do on it. Depending on what she needs the laptop to do is relevant. All laptops are not created equal. I bought my daughter one 3 years ago & she loved it. I gave it to her early because of the stupid return policy. She took it to school, came home & promptly let me know she couldn’t use that one for certain assignments. How about just understanding that when it comes to technology you can be grateful, but if a lot of money is spent & it still can’t be used for its purpose then what’s the point?

Extended Holiday Returns
Most items with less than a 90-day return window that customers buy or receive from November 1, 2021, through December 25, 2021, begin their return period on December 26, 2021. Marketplace seller participation varies. See the Return Policy for details.
They actually have updated you have to go on the website and read its posted literally everywhere LOL ugh America
Walmart policy on returns changes from Nov 1-Jan 1. The policy extents all returns for an additional 15 days. So wireless devices is 30 days & everything else is 45 days from the date of purchase. This isn’t per store. The is per corporate office.
Walmart has extended their holiday return policy. You now have till January 31,2023 to returns most items. Just click on any item on line and it will tell under the item if it has the extended return.
