Target Black Friday 2025 Ad: Sale Dates Officially Confirmed

Updated on Thursday, October 30, 2025: Here’s what we’re expecting from Target’s Black Friday 2025 sale based on the company’s confirmed holiday plans and how the schedule usually plays out each November. Target has already locked in early deals, store events, and its holiday price match policy, which sets the stage for how Black Friday week should look this year.

Expected Black Friday 2025 Sale Dates

Target has not released official dates yet, but based on last year’s pattern, the main Black Friday event should land the week of November 23–29, 2025. The biggest discounts will likely fall near the end of that week.

Target again confirmed that stores will stay closed on Thanksgiving Day, reopening early Friday morning. Most Black Friday offers should appear on target.com and in the Target app as well.

Expected Weeklong Deals

Target has already officially confirmed that weeklong deals will run all season, starting Sunday, November 2, and updating each week. Here is how the schedule lines up on the calendar:

Week 1: November 2–8, 2025.
Week 2: November 9–15, 2025.
Week 3: November 16–22, 2025.
Week 4 (Black Friday Week): November 23–29, 2025.

New ads normally publish the Friday before each week begins.

Target also confirmed these early events:

Deal of the Day: Daily discounts up to 50% off.
Early Black Friday Sale: November 6–8, 2025, with most deals 40% off or more.

What Target Has Confirmed for the Season

Target’s holiday campaign, Step Into the Holidays, begins November 2. Every store will shift into a nostalgic Alpine Village theme, and weekend in-store events will take place for the first time. The Target app will also feature holiday updates.

For merchandise, Target confirmed 20,000 new items, with gifts starting at $5.00. The company highlighted Apple, Dyson, Ninja, Disney, and its owned brands including Pillowfort and Gigglescape.

The Holiday Price Match Guarantee runs November 1–December 24, 2025, allowing price adjustments if Target drops the price later in the season. Extra deals will be available through Target Circle, and the Target Circle Card gives 5% off most purchases.

What Black Friday 2025 Deals Will Likely Include

Target has not published the 2025 ad yet, but the confirmed structure and last year’s sale point to familiar categories: electronics, gaming, small appliances, toys, board games, holiday décor, and home basics.

Below are specific examples from the 2024 Black Friday sale that help set expectations:

Up to 50% off select board games and puzzles (ex: Monopoly).
Up to 50% off small appliances from Cuisinart, Ninja, and Nespresso.
Up to $150 off select Apple devices.
$75 off PlayStation 5 consoles.
40% off sweatshirts, denim, and fleece.
30% off adult sleepwear.
50% off holiday trees and décor.
Exclusive in-store-only Taylor Swift merch, limited to four per customer.

Target typically repeats these same deal depths each November.

Community Programs

Target’s Great Giftogether returns this season. The company will provide nearly 1.5 million dollars in support across more than 2,000 communities, working with nonprofits to fulfill holiday wish lists. Additional partnerships with long-standing community groups will continue through the season.
