Sonos Black Friday 2025 Sale – What to Expect & When

Sonos’ Black Friday 2025 sale is just around the corner. The company’s sales have consistently included discounts on its most popular soundbars, speakers, subwoofers, headphones, and bundles. While not every product gets marked down, the deals are often significant compared to typical pricing. Looking at last year’s event and recent patterns gives a reliable sense of what this year will look like.

Timing of the Sale

The Sonos Black Friday 2025 sale is expected to begin on Friday, November 21, 2025, a full week before Black Friday itself. The event should run through Cyber Monday on December 1, 2025, unless items sell out earlier. Offers are only available when shopping directly at sonos.com.

In addition to the initial deals, on Cyber Monday, Sonos typically adds a limited-time offer for 24 hours only. Last year, that extra deal was the Sonos Five at $110 off, so be on the lookout for that.

General Discount Levels

Sonos does not run site-wide sales. Instead, the company focuses on its most popular products and bundles. Based on 2024, the discount range should fall between 20% and 40% off, depending on the item. Some of the highest cuts have gone to the Ray soundbar and portable speakers, while premium products like the Arc or Era 300 usually land in the 20-25% off percent range.

Bundles are also part of the event. These often combine a soundbar with subwoofers or satellite speakers, giving savings that match or exceed individual discounts.

Examples from Last Year

The 2024 sale showed the types of deals that you can reasonably expect again:

  • Sonos Ace headphones: $349 (regular $449)

  • Arc soundbar: $699 (regular $899)

  • Beam (Gen 2): $369 (regular $499)

  • Ray soundbar: $169 (regular $279)

  • Move 2: $359 (regular $449)

  • Sub 4: $679 (regular $799)

  • Sub Mini: $343 (regular $429)

Bundles also dropped in price, especially home theater packages that included an Arc or Beam paired with a subwoofer and satellite speakers.

What to Expect from Sonos’ After Christmas Sale in 2024

Updated on Monday, December 9. 2024: When it comes to shopping for premium sound systems, Sonos has built a reputation for its top-tier speakers, soundbars, and other audio equipment. However, if you’re hoping to snag a deal during an After Christmas sale in 2024, you may want to reset your expectations. Unlike some retailers, Sonos typically doesn’t hold an official After Christmas sale. In fact, most of their significant sales and promotions happen before Christmas, allowing shoppers to buy gifts at discounted prices ahead of the holidays.

That said, there’s still a way to find deals from Sonos post-holiday season—by checking their Certified Refurbished Section on their website. This section offers a variety of discounted Sonos products, making it an excellent option for those looking to upgrade their home audio setup without paying full price. Here’s a detailed look at what to expect, when to shop, and how to make the most of what Sonos has to offer after Christmas.

Sonos’ Sales Approach: No Traditional After Christmas Sale

Sonos doesn’t follow the traditional retail calendar that includes big holiday sales like Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or After Christmas sales. Instead, they often run their discounts and promotions before Christmas, targeting shoppers who want to purchase gifts during the holiday season.

Once Christmas is over, you’re unlikely to find any new sitewide discounts or major promotions. However, this doesn’t mean that there are no opportunities to save. The Certified Refurbished Section on their website is a year-round treasure trove of discounted products, and it’s worth exploring, especially after the holidays when some items might get restocked or repriced.

What is Sonos’ Certified Refurbished Section?

The Certified Refurbished Section at Sonos is where you’ll find discounted products that have been returned by customers, lightly used, or otherwise not sold as brand-new. Each product in this section goes through rigorous testing and quality checks to ensure it meets the same high standards as new Sonos products.

Here’s what you can expect from the refurbished section:

  1. Discounted Pricing: Refurbished Sonos products are typically sold at 15-30% off their original prices.
  2. Full Functionality: All refurbished products are restored to full working condition, including software updates and compatibility with the Sonos app.
  3. Warranty Included: Refurbished items come with a 1-year warranty, just like new Sonos products. This gives you peace of mind knowing your purchase is protected.
  4. Sustainability: Buying refurbished is also an eco-friendly choice, as it keeps products out of landfills and reduces waste.

What to Buy from Sonos After Christmas

If you’re shopping for Sonos gear after Christmas, here are some of the key product categories to focus on:

1. Sonos Soundbars

Sonos soundbars like the Sonos Arc, Sonos Beam, and Sonos Ray are some of the most popular products in their lineup. These soundbars deliver exceptional audio quality and are designed to integrate seamlessly with your TV setup.

  • Refurbished Options: Soundbars are often available in the refurbished section, so it’s worth checking for these models at a discounted price.
  • When to Shop: Inventory in the refurbished section fluctuates, so if you don’t see what you’re looking for, check back regularly.

2. Sonos Speakers

Sonos offers a range of smart speakers, including the Sonos One, Sonos Five, and Move. These speakers are known for their excellent sound quality, modern design, and ability to integrate with smart home systems like Alexa and Google Assistant.

  • Refurbished Options: Speakers like the Sonos One are frequently available as refurbished items, making them more affordable than buying new.

3. Portable Speakers

For those who love listening to music on the go, the Sonos Move and Sonos Roam are great options. These portable speakers are designed for durability and outdoor use while still delivering Sonos-level sound quality.

  • Refurbished Options: The portable models are often included in the refurbished section, but availability may vary.

4. Sonos Subwoofers and Accessories

Enhance your Sonos setup with add-ons like the Sonos Sub (a wireless subwoofer) or speaker stands and mounts. These accessories can elevate your audio experience and add a touch of customization to your home.

  • Refurbished Options: Subwoofers and accessories may appear less frequently in the refurbished section but are worth keeping an eye out for.

Tips for Shopping Sonos Refurbished Products

Shopping in Sonos’ refurbished section can be a bit of a treasure hunt, as inventory changes frequently and availability is limited. Here are some tips to help you find the best deals:

1. Check Early and Often

Refurbished Sonos products can sell out quickly, especially popular items like the Sonos Arc or Sonos One. To increase your chances of finding what you want, check the refurbished section frequently—ideally early in the day or after major shopping events like Christmas.

2. Act Fast

When you see a refurbished item you want, don’t hesitate. Inventory is limited, and items can sell out quickly, especially during high-traffic shopping periods like the week after Christmas.

3. Compare Prices

Even with the discount, refurbished products can still be an investment. Take a moment to compare prices with other retailers or consider whether a new product might offer better value if it’s only slightly more expensive.

4. Understand the Return Policy

Sonos offers a 45-day return policy on refurbished items, which gives you plenty of time to test your purchase and make sure it meets your expectations. Keep in mind that shipping fees may apply for returns.

Why Choose Refurbished Sonos Products?

Opting for a refurbished Sonos product after Christmas can be a smart move for several reasons:

  1. Cost Savings: The discounts make it easier to own premium Sonos products without paying full price.
  2. Quality Assurance: Every refurbished item is thoroughly inspected and tested by Sonos, so you’re getting a product that performs like new.
  3. Warranty Coverage: The included 1-year warranty ensures you’re covered in case of any issues.
  4. Eco-Friendly Choice: By choosing refurbished, you’re contributing to a more sustainable shopping model by reducing waste.

What to Keep in Mind

While the refurbished section offers great opportunities to save, there are a few things to be aware of:

  • Limited Availability: Inventory in the refurbished section is not guaranteed, and specific models may sell out quickly.
  • No Customization: Refurbished products may not come in all color options, so you may need to be flexible with your preferences.
  • No Bundles or Promotions: Unlike new products, refurbished items aren’t eligible for bundles or promotional discounts.
