Updated on Sunday October 17, 2021: There’s still some time left to go until we begin seeing the first Black Friday ads getting leaked on Xbox Series X. You can scroll down the page to view last year’s offers, but because Xbox Series X was just released at the end of 2020, nothing was on sale (you were lucky if you were even able to get your hand on a console because they were nearly impossible to find in stock). This year the availability should be better and it’s likely some combo deals will be offered at many of the big-box retailers.
As always, we’ll be posting all the Black Friday ads we come across and the important Xbox news for 2021 as it happens. Be sure to check back again in early November for the latest updates or join our newsletter to stay informed.
Last Year’s Black Friday Ads
Last updated on Monday November 23, 2020: We are once again tracking this year’s best Black Friday deals on Xbox Series X & S gaming consoles. As Black Friday ads get leaked from stores like GameStop, Best Buy, Costco, Walmart and other retailers, we pull out the deals and post them here for you in one place. We will be updating this page from now through Thanksgiving weekend so be sure to bookmark us and check back often for the latest news.
Here are all the Xbox Black Friday deals for 2020 that we have already confirmed:
You’ll find both the Xbox Series X and Series S featured in Best Buy’s Black Friday 2020 ad this year (see below). The Series X 1TB console is sale priced for $499.99. The Series S 512GB all digital console is sale priced at $299.99. You’ll also find select Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One controllers on sale starting at $39.99/each. You can grab these deals ONLINE ONLY at bestbuy.com starting on Sunday November 22, 2020. Available while supplies last.
Per GameStop’s Black Friday 2020 ad, they guarantee to have at least two Xbox Series X consoles per store when they open their doors at 7:00AM on Black Friday, November 27, 2020 (hopefully there will be many more than that!). However, your chances of getting one will be pretty slim. If you are one of the lucky few then keep in mind that there’s a limit of one gaming console of any type per customer. We’re not sure if some units will be available at gamestop.com as well but keep your eyes open!
Walmart will have Xbox Series X in stock (online only at walmart.com) when their Black Friday 2020 sale goes live on Wednesday November 25, 2020 at 7:00PM ET/4:00PM PT. They also have the Xbox Series X Wireless Controller, 3-Month Xbox Ultimate Game Pass and a handful of games featured in their ad. Xbox Series X will not be available in-stores.
You’ll find a number of deals at Amazon’s Black Friday sale this year. Whichever Xbox bundle you decide on, it’s worth comparing the sale prices to those available right now at Amazon (note, as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases).
