Our prediction is 30% off select regular-price shoes, clothing and accessories, plus an extra discount on sale merchandise, exclusively at vans.com. We also expect the sale to start well before Black Friday itself.

These are predictions based on recent Vans Black Friday sales.
When Will Vans Black Friday 2026 Start?
Our best guess is Wednesday, November 18. Last year’s sale started November 19 and ran through December 2. Since Black Friday falls one day earlier this year, a November 18 start would follow almost the same schedule.
That means there probably will not be any reason to wait until Thanksgiving or Black Friday morning.
How Much Will Vans Take Off?
We expect Vans to repeat its recent Black Friday formula:

Is 30% Off Actually a Good Vans Deal?
It is good, but not unusually rare.
Vans already runs 30% off promotions during the year, and older colors often get marked down much more heavily.
So we would look at it this way:

The biggest difference is color.
A classic black and white Old Skool at 30% off may be a better buy than a random clearance color at 60% off if the classic pair is what you actually wanted.
Old Skool and Knu Skool Are the Two We’d Watch First
The classic Old Skool currently sells for around $75. If Vans repeats its 30% discount, the Black Friday price should be about $52.50.
The Knu Skool currently runs around $80, which would put it near $56 at 30% off.
Those would be solid prices for the standard black and white versions.
If you do not care about color, check the sale section first. Older colorways can sometimes be much cheaper than the regular Black Friday discount.
Kids’ Vans Could Be Good Gift Deals
Kids’ shoes were some of the better values last year.
We saw toddler Old Skools around $28 and big kids’ Knu Skools under $40.
We would expect plenty of kids’ Vans in the $25 to $45 range again this year.
Popular sizes can sell out quickly, so this is one category where shopping early makes sense.
Check Clearance Before You Buy
This is probably the most important Vans shopping tip. The regular Black Friday deal may be 30% off, but clearance can go much deeper. The catch is that clearance usually means fewer sizes and more unusual colors.
If you want a specific black, white or checkerboard style, 30% off is a good price. If you just want the cheapest pair of Vans you can find, start with clearance.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Probably not for a specific pair.
Last year’s Black Friday promotion continued through Cyber Monday, so the main deal did not suddenly get much better on Monday.
If the exact size and color you want is 30% off, we would buy it.
If you are flexible and mainly shopping clearance, checking again on November 30 could still be worthwhile.

Vans usually announces the promotion online rather than releasing a traditional printed Black Friday ad.
