Petco’s upcoming Black Friday 2025 sale will likely follow a familiar pattern to the one from last year and the year before. Black Friday 2025 Sale Dates & Timing (Expected)

Assuming last year’s sales schedule will return, Petco’s 2025 Black Friday deals will likely start on Saturday, November 22, 2025, both in-stores and at petco.com. That’s exactly five days before Thanksgiving, which falls on November 27 this year. The promotions are likely to run until Saturday, November 29, 2025, or until supplies run out.

Just keep in mind that if I want the best chance of getting what you need, especially the most popular or deeply discounted items, you might want to plan to either shop early that Saturday or check online the moment the sale starts. Toward the end of the week, availability can get thin, especially for things like live animals or well-priced aquariums.

The headline across the board during the event these last few years has been up to 50 percent off. It’s not just a few select categories either… it’s across pet types, including dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, small animals, and more.

Here’s what you can expect to see at up to 50 percent off:

  • Chew toys and plush toys

  • Aquariums, tanks, and fish supplies

  • Some live animals (though stock sells out fast)

The key to getting the advertised price is having a Petco’s Pals Rewards card. Almost every Black Friday deal is typically only valid once you’re signed in or scanned in as a Pals member. It’s free to join (either in the store or online). So if you’re not signed up yet, make it your first step so you’re ready when the sale starts.

If you plan to go into a store on Black Friday itself (that’s Friday, November 28, 2025), Petco’s known to hand out small freebies to early shoppers. In past years we’ve seen people get plush antlers for their dogs or cats, especially those first handful of shoppers who walk through the door.
