Hulu Black Friday 2025 Sale – What to Expect & When

If you’ve been thinking about trying Hulu or coming back after a break, Black Friday remains the best time of year to sign up, even as Hulu transitions into Disney+. The long-running Hulu Black Friday promotion is likely returning in 2025, but this year it will appear under the Disney+ umbrella, since Hulu’s standalone app is being phased out in favor of a unified Disney+ experience.

While Disney hasn’t officially announced the 2025 offer yet, the company has confirmed new pricing and bundles that will shape this year’s promotion. Here’s what you can expect based on the latest changes, prior patterns, and the most recent October 2025 pricing update.

Likely Black Friday 2025 Sale Dates

For years, Hulu’s (and now Disney’s) streaming deals have followed a predictable holiday pattern:

  • Expected Start Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day) at hulu.com.

  • Expected End Date: Cyber Monday, December 1, 2025

In previous years, early access has occasionally gone live as soon as Monday, November 24, 2025, through promotions aired on ABC’s Good Morning America or other Disney-owned outlets. If that pattern continues, we could see an early rollout again this year, with the full deal opening up to everyone by Thanksgiving.

Who Can Get the Deal

As in past years, this sale won’t be available to everyone — it’s meant for new and eligible returning subscribers only.

To qualify:

  • You must not have an active Disney+ or Hulu subscription when signing up.

  • You must not have subscribed in the past 30 days.

Although these are the official terms, many past users have successfully re-qualified by signing up with a different email address and payment method.

If you’re currently subscribed to Disney+ or Hulu, plan to cancel before mid-October so your account fully deactivates before the sale launches. You’ll still keep access through the end of your billing period, but once your subscription lapses, you’ll be eligible for the promo pricing.

Expected Discount Levels

This year’s promotion will likely apply to the new combined Disney+ and Hulu bundles, not the old standalone Hulu plan. Based on the newly announced prices (effective October 21, 2025), here’s what to expect:

Plan Regular Price Expected Black Friday Deal
Disney+ & Hulu (With Ads) $12.99/month $0.99–$1.99/month for 12 months
Disney+, Hulu & ESPN Select (With Ads) $19.99/month $2.99–$3.99/month for 12 months
Disney+, Hulu & ESPN Select Premium (Ad-Free Disney+/Hulu) $29.99/month Unlikely to be discounted

That means you could pay as little as $12–$24 total for a full year of Disney+ and Hulu combined (compared to the regular $156/year price) making this one of the biggest streaming discounts of the season.

What’s Not Included

As with previous years, some plans and features likely won’t be part of the deal:

  • No ad-free options: The sale applies only to the ad-supported tiers.

  • No Hulu + Live TV: Live TV plans start at $89.99/month and are excluded from holiday discounts.

  • Add-ons extra: Premium channels like HBO Max, Showtime, or Starz still cost their normal rates.

If you choose to upgrade to an ad-free plan later, you’ll be charged the standard monthly price for that tier going forward.

What Happens After the 12 Months?

After your 12-month promotional period ends, your plan will automatically renew at the then-current regular price unless you cancel first.

As of late 2025, renewal prices are expected to be:

  • Disney+ & Hulu (With Ads): $12.99/month

  • Disney+, Hulu & ESPN Select (With Ads): $19.99/month

You can cancel anytime during the promo year — even immediately after signing up — and you’ll keep full access through the remainder of your prepaid 12 months.

Hulu Cyber Monday 2025 Sale – What’s Coming and When

Historically, Hulu hasn’t hosted a separate Cyber Monday sale. Instead, its Black Friday offer typically runs straight through Cyber Monday, giving subscribers extra time to grab a heavily discounted streaming plan.

This year marks a major shift: Hulu is now being integrated into Disney+ globally, with the standalone Hulu app set to be retired in 2026. That means the 2025 holiday sale will almost certainly appear under the Disney+ brand, but will still include Hulu content and bundles.

Below is a breakdown of what to expect based on Hulu and Disney’s most recent pricing and announcements.

Expected Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2025 Sale Window

Since Disney’s streaming promotions have historically mirrored Hulu’s timing, expect the same overall pattern:

  • Expected Start Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025 (Thanksgiving Day) at hulu.com.

  • Expected End Date: Monday, December 1, 2025 (Cyber Monday)

That gives you a five-day window to lock in the lowest subscription pricing.

If Disney continues its early-access pattern, a limited preview offer may go live as early as Monday, November 24, 2025, possibly through promotional tie-ins like Good Morning America or Disney-owned media partners.

Who Can Take Advantage

Eligibility rules for the Disney+ with Hulu Black Friday deal should remain similar to prior years:

  • Available to new or returning subscribers without an active Disney+ or Hulu account.

  • You must not have had an active subscription in the last 30 days.

  • Some users have historically re-qualified using a different email or payment method.

If you currently subscribe to Disney+ or Hulu, consider canceling before mid-October so you’re eligible once the promotion begins. After cancellation, your access continues until the end of your billing period, but you’ll then qualify for the discounted rate once it opens.

Expected Discounts

While Hulu’s old standalone plan is being retired, Disney+ now offers integrated bundles that include Hulu content. The Black Friday 2025 promotion is expected to target these newer tiers:

Plan Regular Price (as of Oct. 21, 2025) Expected Black Friday Deal
Disney+ & Hulu (With Ads) $12.99/month $0.99–$1.99/month for 12 months
Disney+, Hulu & ESPN Select (With Ads) $19.99/month $2.99–$3.99/month for 12 months
Ad-Free Disney+ & Hulu (Premium) $29.99/month Not typically discounted

To put that in perspective, the base Disney+ & Hulu plan at $12.99/month totals about $156/year. Under the expected promotion, a 12-month subscription could cost as little as $12–$24 total — a savings of more than 90%.

What’s Not Covered

Certain tiers and add-ons almost never appear in the holiday promotion. For 2025, you should expect no discounts on:

  • Ad-free or premium bundles (Disney+ & Hulu Premium tiers).

  • Hulu + Live TV plans, which start at $89.99/month.

  • Premium add-ons like HBO Max, Showtime, or Starz.

If you upgrade to an ad-free plan after redeeming the deal, you’ll pay the regular full price for that tier.

After the Promo Year

At the end of your promotional year, your subscription automatically renews at the regular rate unless canceled.

Here’s what that means in 2025:

  • Disney+ & Hulu (With Ads): renews at $12.99/month

  • Disney+, Hulu & ESPN Select (With Ads): renews at $19.99/month

You can cancel anytime during the promo period and still keep access until your 12 months are up. Disney+ will notify you before the renewal date to prevent surprises.
