Staples Black Friday 2021 Sale – What to Expect in the Ad

We’ve still got a long ways to go until Staples’ Black Friday sale arrives again but you can scroll down the page to view last year’s details to get a general idea of the type of offers they typically run (you can expect to see similar deals return).

As always, we’ll be posting a copy of their ad, sale start/end dates and all the important details for 2021 the moment we know more. Be sure to check back again soon for the latest updates or join our newsletter to stay informed.

Black Friday 2021 Start & End Dates

For the last six years that we’ve been monitoring Staples’ Black Friday ads, the sale dates have remained the same, except for last year when they extended the start date by four days due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So what about this year? We’re expecting the same extended sales schedule as we’re not yet out of the woods with the virus. Here are the Black Friday 2021 start and end dates that we’re expecting:

  • Expected BF sale start date: Thursday, Thanksgiving day, November 25, 2021 at 12:00AM EST online and Friday November 26, 2021 when stores open at 7:00AM Sunday November 21, 2021 both in-stores and online. Remember, all Staples locations are typically closed on Thanksgiving day itself to let their employees spend the holiday with family and friends.
  • Expected BF sale end date: Saturday November 27, 2021 at 11:59PM PST or when stores close, while supplies last.

Note: these dates are still preliminary estimates based off of last year’s sales schedule. Staples’ confirmed Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale dates/times for 2021 will be posted as soon as they are officially announced by the company.

Our Favorite Deals

So what should you get at Staples’ Black Friday sale this year? Here’s a look at some of our favorite bargains we found in their ad last year — It should give you a general idea of some of the bargains to come:

  • LaptopsBest Buy’s not the only store in town to offer doorbuster deals on laptops. Staples has both budget and high-end models on sale. That included a wallet-friendly 14” HP Pavilion laptop with Intel Core i5 processor, 1TB hard drive and 8GB of memory on sale for $349.99. You could have also picked up a Lenovo Flex 5 2-in-1 laptop with Intel Core i5 processor on sale for $549.99 (that was $180 off).
  • Printers — If your current printer jams all the time or prints lines where it shouldn’t then you were able to get a HP Officejet Pro for as low as $229.99 (as featured on the cover of their ad last year).
  • Office Chairs — If you spend hours on the computer, either working or gaming, then a comfortable and ergonomic office chair is essential. And while Herman Miller makes some of the finest office chairs on the market, the ones you’ll find at Staples this year are just as good and won’t break the bank. Out favorite one last year was the Staples Dexley Chair on sale for $149.99 (that was $100 off).
  • Headphones & Earphones — If you’ve been waiting to pick up new Apple AirPods on sale then you likely won’t find a lower price this coming Thanksgiving weekend than at Staples; they had them on sale for for $119 with charging case included. You could also find the Bose QuietComfort 35 II wireless active noise-canceling headphones in black on sale for $199 (that was $100 off).
