Black Friday 2024 – What to Expect

For all of you guys and girls hoping to get a good deal on a warm new Canada Goose winter jacket which, by the way, are hands down the best made and warmest jackets on the market, then we’re sad to report that their official store never has any sales or discounts (except for free shipping + returns at canadagoose.com). They just never do. Period.

But that doesn’t mean a deal can’t be had — It’s just a bit harder to find them, and even more so if you are looking at the beginning of the winter season. Here’a list of some of the top Canada Goose resellers, with the first two stores almost always having a few models on sale during Black Friday/Thanksgiving weekend:

Watch out for Counterfeits

Remember when shopping this weekend, there are a number of so-called Canada Goose “retailers” but you have to be super careful because there is a lot of counterfeit products out there, especially on eBay and Amazon. What’s new from Canada Goose?

Here’s a look at some of our favorite new jackets from Canada Goose that just arrived for the Fall/Winter 2023 season:

Expedition Parka Print — Developed for scientists from the National Science Foundation working in McMurdo Station, Antarctica, this parka is made to take on the most extreme elements. It has a temperature rating of -30C and below on the Thermal Experience Index (TEI), making it one of Canada Gooses warmest jackets they make. It’s made of white duck down filling with a removable fur ruff that’s sourced from North America. It retails for $1,150.

Lodge Hoody (Matte Finish) — Available in 4 colors to choose from, this slim-fit, light-weight jacket is perfect for packing. It can be rolled up and stored away taking up almost no space at all (perfect for camping and hiking trips). It’s windproof and water resistant, and features 750 fill power hutterite white duck down filling to keep you warm and toasty. It’s rated to withstand 0C to -15C on the TEI scale. It retails for $575.

Kenton Parka Black Label — If you’re always on the go, regardless of the weather outside, then this jacket was made specifically for you. This daily wearer is designed to move with your body and features a number of vents and closures to adjust for warmer or colder outside temperatures. It’s made in Canada from 625-fill power white duck down sourced from North America. On the TEI scales it comes in at the middle of the TEI ranges with a rating of -10C to -20C. It retails for $1,150 and is available in 5 different colors from sizes XS to L.

Hybridge CW Jacket Black Label — This slim-fit, waist-hugging jacket will not only keep you toasty but is made to look elegant, cut to the curves of your body. It includes a packable waterproof hoodie for when you get caught amidst a rain or snow storm. Probably the best feature of this this jacket is Canada Goose’s use of a Dynamic Knit in the outer shell. This material is both flexible and breathable yet water and wind resistant. Made from 800-fill power hutterite white goose down, it has a 0C to -15C rating on the TEI index. It retails for $850.
