Updated on Wednesday, November 12, 2025: If you’re considering a new phone or plan from Tracfone, here’s a breakdown of everything worth knowing about their upcoming Black Friday 2025 sale.

Black Friday 2025 Sale Dates & Timing

Tracfone typically kicks off its Black Friday sale at tracfone.com on the day itself, not earlier in the week like some retailers. That means you’ll want to start checking the website on Friday, November 28, 2025. Deals are usually available all weekend long, but since quantities are limited, some of the best offers may sell out quickly. In past years, Tracfone has not extended its sale far into Cyber Monday, so it’s safest to shop on Black Friday itself or during the weekend immediately after.

Typical Discounts & Offers

Based on previous Black Friday sales, you can expect discounts ranging from 30% to 70% off select smartphones. They typically apply to both budget-friendly phones and mid-tier models. On top of phone discounts, Tracfone usually adds extra perks like free shipping and free activation on all orders. While these may not seem huge on their own, activation fees with some carriers can be an unexpected cost, so getting it waived is a nice bonus.

Examples of Last Year’s Deals

Looking at last year’s offers gives a good idea of what 2025 might bring. In 2024, Tracfone featured a free Moto G Play 2023 with a qualifying plan purchase, which normally retailed at $99.99. They also offered a free Nokia C1110 with a plan, valued at $49.99. Beyond these bundle deals, other phones saw direct price cuts across the board. Tracfone tends to use Black Friday as a time to clear inventory of older models while still offering relevant discounts on newer releases.

Discount Levels by Category

• Budget Smartphones: These usually see the highest percentage discounts, sometimes reaching 70% off. Phones originally priced around $50 to $100 often drop to under $30 or are bundled for free with service.
• Mid-Range Phones: Expect discounts in the 30% to 50% range. These phones might fall into the $150 to $300 category after markdowns.
• Premium Models: These see smaller but still notable discounts, often around 20% to 30%. Tracfone may pair them with plan incentives to sweeten the deal.

Plan Requirements

Most of the best Black Friday phone deals require a qualifying Tracfone service plan purchase. While some discounted phones are available outright, the steepest offers (like free phones) almost always involve committing to a plan. If you’re already planning on buying service, this requirement won’t be a drawback, but it’s something to keep in mind.

Free Shipping & Free Activation

Alongside discounts, Tracfone nearly always includes free shipping and free activation during its Black Friday sale. Free shipping covers all phone and plan orders placed online, making it easy to get your purchase without extra costs. Free activation saves you the one-time setup fee that’s often charged with new phones. These added perks might not be the main reason to shop, but they help stretch your savings further.

Stock Limitations

One thing to be aware of is that all Black Friday deals at Tracfone are only available while supplies last. In the past, free phone offers and heavily discounted devices have sold out quickly. If you see a deal that matches what you need, it’s usually best to complete your order right away rather than wait. Tracfone rarely restocks during the event.
