American Furniture Warehouse Black Friday 2026: Deals & Ad Predictions

Updated on Wednesday, October 14, 2026: American Furniture Warehouse has not yet released its Black Friday 2026 ad, but last year’s sale gives us a solid idea of what to expect.

In 2025, AFW started its Black Friday event on November 10 and kept it running through November 30, with deals on sofas, sectionals, dining sets, mattresses, bedroom furniture and home accessories. Most offers were available both online at afw.com and in stores, although some larger or limited-quantity items were store-only.

For 2026, we expect another early-November launch rather than a sale that waits until Thanksgiving week.

These are predictions until AFW publishes its official 2026 Black Friday ad.

When Will American Furniture Warehouse Black Friday 2026 Start?

Our best estimate is around November 9–11.

Last year’s event began November 10, more than two weeks before Thanksgiving, and continued through November 30 or while supplies lasted.

That makes AFW one of the retailers where waiting until Black Friday itself probably does not make much sense. If the piece you want is already discounted early in November, the bigger concern may be inventory and delivery availability rather than another price drop.

What Did AFW Offer Last Black Friday?

The 2025 ad covered a wide range of furniture and home products.

Some examples included:

2025 Deal Black Friday Price
Scott Dark Brown Recliner $188
Lasarene Seaglass Sofa $348
Lyncott Dining Table $225
Helena 5-Piece Counter Height Set $428
Grayson 7″ Full Mattress $259
Bordeaux Nightstand $108
Dakota 5-Drawer Chest $598
Racing Gaming Chair $125
Nest Memory Foam Lounge Bag $148

Larger-ticket offers included power reclining sofas, leather sectionals and multi-piece seating groups.

That mix suggests AFW’s 2026 sale will probably combine inexpensive doorbusters with larger markdowns on higher-priced furniture.

Sofas and Sectionals Should Be One of the Biggest Categories

Living room furniture was a major part of last year’s ad.

The 2025 event included everything from a $348 sofa to leather and power-reclining sectionals costing several thousand dollars.

For 2026, compare the final selling price rather than looking only for a percentage-off claim. Furniture pricing can vary widely by upholstery, configuration and power features, so the exact model matters.

If you are shopping a sectional, also confirm that the configuration will actually fit your room before ordering.

Recliners Could Produce Some of the Best Doorbusters

Recliners are a category worth watching if you want a lower-priced Black Friday deal.

AFW featured a $188 recliner in its 2025 ad, while more expensive reclining sofas and sectionals were also included.

We would expect a similar split in 2026: a handful of aggressive entry-level prices alongside more expensive powered and leather models.

Limited-quantity furniture can sell out, so a standout recliner deal may be worth buying early rather than waiting until November 27.

Dining and Bedroom Furniture Should Return

Dining tables, counter-height sets, nightstands and bedroom storage were all part of the 2025 event.

These categories are useful to compare as complete-room purchases rather than single pieces.

A dining set that includes chairs can be a much better value than a heavily discounted table sold by itself. The same applies to bedroom collections where matching pieces are priced separately.

Mattresses Should Have Entry-Level Deals

AFW also included mattresses in last year’s sale, including a seven-inch full-size model for $259.

For 2026, we expect mattresses to return, particularly lower-priced and promotional models.

Before buying, compare more than the sticker price. Mattress thickness, construction, firmness and return terms can matter more than a modest difference in price.

Delivery Costs Need to Be Part of the Comparison

AFW does not generally build “free delivery” into its furniture pricing.

The company says delivery charges are based on your ZIP code and order amount, and the final charge appears during checkout. Its Platinum Delivery service includes inspection, assembly of applicable furniture, placement inside the home and removal of packing materials.

Nationwide delivery is available to much of the continental U.S., but minimum purchase requirements and delivery fees vary by area.

That means a $100 lower furniture price is not automatically the better deal if delivery costs are significantly higher.

Measure Before You Order

This is especially important with AFW because many of its Black Friday deals involve large sofas, sectionals and dining pieces.

AFW specifically tells customers to measure the room, doorways, ceiling heights, staircases and other access points before delivery. Its drivers will not force furniture through an opening where it cannot safely fit.

For a sectional or oversized sofa, check both the product dimensions and the path from your front door to the final room.

That can save a much bigger headache than finding another $50 discount.

Financing Is Available, but Read the Terms

AFW currently offers several financing options.

Its Wells Fargo program includes promotional plans of six months on qualifying purchases of at least $300, 12 months on purchases of at least $1,000 and 18 months on purchases of at least $2,000. These are deferred-interest offers, so interest can be charged from the purchase date if the balance is not paid in full during the promotional period.

Other financing and lease-to-own options are also available.

For Black Friday, financing can help spread out a large furniture purchase, but it should not be confused with an additional discount.

Store Pickup Can Be a Good Alternative to Delivery

AFW offers store pickup on many in-stock items and currently promotes same-day pickup for qualifying online purchases.

That can be useful for smaller pieces such as chairs, stools, nightstands or décor if you have a vehicle large enough to transport them safely.

For sofas and sectionals, professional delivery is usually the easier option unless you already have the right equipment and help.

Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?

Probably not if the exact item you want is already part of the early Black Friday sale.

In 2025, AFW’s event ran continuously from November 10 through November 30, so there was no need to wait until the final weekend for the promotion to begin.

Furniture inventory is also different from electronics. A particular fabric, sectional layout or mattress size may sell out before Cyber Monday.

If the price is good and the piece works for your space, buying earlier in the sale can make more sense.

When Will the American Furniture Warehouse Black Friday 2026 Ad Be Released?

Early November is our best estimate.

AFW’s 2025 sale was already live by November 10, along with a seven-page Black Friday ad.

If the retailer follows the same schedule this year, we would expect the 2026 ad and first major deals during the second week of November.

Once the ad is released, we’ll update this page with the confirmed dates and standout deals on sofas, sectionals, recliners, dining sets, mattresses and bedroom furniture.
