Here’s a look at what to expect from Hanna Andersson’s upcoming Black Friday 2025 sale: when it’s likely to start, what kinds of discounts you’ll see, items that are likely to be included (and excluded), and what was on sale last year as a guide.
Likely Start & End Dates for the 2025 Black Friday Sale
Over the past two years, Hanna Andersson’s Black Friday sale has consistently started three days before Thanksgiving. In 2023 and 2024, the sale began on the Monday of Thanksgiving week. If they stick to that pattern again, the 2025 sale should kick off on Monday, November 24, 2025.
As for when the sale ends, last year it wrapped up right at 11:59 PM PST on Black Friday, so this year that would be Friday, November 28, 2025. It’s not a long sales window, so it’s smart to go in with a plan and shop early — especially if you’re hoping to grab limited styles or specific sizes.
You can expect to shop the sale either online at hannaandersson.com or in any of their retail stores, if there’s one near you.
Expected Discounts and Sale Details
Hanna Andersson has made its Black Friday discount structure pretty straightforward in recent years. They’ve offered 50% off nearly everything in the store and online, and the prices are usually already marked down — no need for promo codes or coupons.
There are a few things to keep in mind, though:
-
The 50% off typically applies to full-price, in-season merchandise.
-
Clearance and final sale items are excluded.
-
A few select styles are usually not included, but these are clearly labeled.
-
Free shipping has been part of the promotion, but only on orders that hit a certain minimum.
In 2024, the free shipping threshold was $100 for non-members, but if you’re part of their Rewards Program, you only needed to spend $50 to get free shipping. That same system is expected to return in 2025. Just note: the shipping discount applies after other discounts are applied, and before tax.
Also, this is important — the sale prices cannot be applied to past purchases, and they don’t offer price adjustments. If you see something at full price a few days before the sale and you think it might go on sale, it’s better to wait.
Items That Are Not Included in the Sale
While most of the site gets the 50% off treatment, there are always a few exclusions:
-
Final sale and clearance items: These are already marked down and are not included in the additional sale.
-
Hanna-Me-Downs resale section: Hanna Andersson has a resale program for gently used clothing, but those items don’t qualify for any additional Black Friday discount or free shipping.
-
Certain licensed or limited-run collaborations: Sometimes a few special collections (usually newer releases) are excluded, though this varies year to year.
If an item is excluded, it will be clearly marked on the product page. Last year, anything not part of the sale was labeled with “Excluded from Promotions” on its listing.
