Sportsman’s Warehouse Black Friday 2026: Deals & Predictions

Updated on Wednesday, September 23, 2026: Sportsman’s Warehouse has not released its Black Friday 2026 ad yet, but last year’s sale gives us a useful idea of what to expect.

The 2025 Black Deals Friday event went live online on Thanksgiving Day and expanded in stores on Black Friday. Discounts covered fishing gear, footwear, outdoor clothing, optics, cooking equipment, coolers, kayaks and other outdoor products, with many offers in the 20% to 40% range.

For 2026, we expect a similar Thanksgiving launch with limited-stock doorbusters and category-specific discounts rather than one storewide percentage.

When Will Sportsman’s Warehouse Black Friday 2026 Start?

Our best guess is Thursday, November 26 at sportsmans.com.

Last year, the sale went live online on Thanksgiving while stores remained closed. In-store shopping began the following morning on Black Friday. Some doorbusters and limited-quantity products could sell out online before stores opened.

We expect the same general setup this year, so anyone shopping for a specific product should check the website on Thanksgiving rather than waiting until Friday.

What Were the Best Deals Last Year?

For the categories we would watch again in 2026, last year included up to 40% off select rod-and-reel combos, 20% to 40% off certain shoes and boots, up to 30% off outdoor apparel and cooking gear, and up to 33% off select coolers and drinkware. Some kayaks received discounts as high as $700.

That gives us a reasonable target for this year:

Category Deal Worth Watching For
Rod and reel combos 30%–40% off
Hiking and outdoor boots 25%–40% off
Jackets and outdoor clothing Around 30% off
Binoculars 20%–30% off
Coolers Around 30% off
Camp cooking gear 25%–30% off
Kayaks Several hundred dollars off

Clearance Can Already Beat Black Friday

It is worth checking the clearance section before waiting until November.

Sportsman’s Warehouse currently has some outdoor boots discounted well beyond 30%. For example, one pair of Muck Boots is listed at $111.77 from $210, while Sportsman’s Warehouse-brand hiking boots are $38.77 from $69.99.

The optics clearance section is similar. A GPO 10×42 binocular bundle is currently $179.77 from $399.99, while select Leupold binoculars are also marked down.

Those prices show why the final dollar amount matters more than the Black Friday percentage. A clearance item at 45% or 50% off can easily beat a new Black Friday offer at 25%.

Fishing Gear Should Be One of the Better Categories

Fishing was one of the stronger non-seasonal categories in last year’s sale, with select rod-and-reel combos reaching 40% off and some bait promotions using buy-more-save-more offers.

Sportsman’s Warehouse still maintains a large Black Friday fishing section covering reels, combos and related gear, so we would expect fishing to be heavily represented again in 2026.

If you need a specific rod or reel, 30% to 40% off would be a solid target.

Watch Footwear, but Compare Clearance First

Last Black Friday included 20% to 40% off select shoes and boots.

The problem is that Sportsman’s Warehouse already discounts footwear aggressively. Current clearance examples include hunting, hiking and wading boots at roughly 25% to 45% below their original prices.

For common sizes and styles, Black Friday may give you better selection. If you are flexible, clearance could be cheaper.

Join Explorewards Before the Sale

Sportsman’s Warehouse Explorewards is free and earns at least one point for every $1 spent in stores or online. Members also receive exclusive deals and access to special events, and points can be redeemed toward purchases.

If you plan to make a larger Black Friday purchase, it makes sense to have the account set up beforehand so the order automatically earns points.

Keep the Shipping Threshold in Mind

Sportsman’s Warehouse currently offers free standard ground shipping on qualifying orders over $75 and free ship-to-store regardless of order value. Standard shipping below $75 is $9.99. Oversize and certain restricted products can have separate charges.

That matters on smaller Black Friday orders. A $60 item may be cheaper to send to a store than to your home.

Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?

Probably not for a limited-stock item.

Sportsman’s Warehouse Black Friday deals are often tied to available inventory, and last year the retailer specifically warned that some doorbusters could sell out before stores opened.

If the exact kayak, boots, binoculars or fishing gear you want reaches a strong price on Thanksgiving or Black Friday, waiting until Monday could be a gamble.

For ordinary accessories and apparel, checking again on Cyber Monday makes more sense.

When Will Sportsman’s Warehouse Black Friday 2026 Be Confirmed?

We expect the full ad and deal list sometime in November, with online shopping likely beginning Thanksgiving Day, November 26.

Once the 2026 sale is announced, we’ll update this page with the confirmed dates, fishing and camping deals, footwear markdowns, optics offers and the best outdoor gear prices.
