Updated on Monday, October 5, 2026: TUMI has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but last year’s event gives us a useful benchmark.
TUMI started its 2025 Black Friday sale at tumi.com unusually early on November 13, offering up to 30% off select luggage, bags and accessories. The promotion was expected to continue through Cyber Monday on December 1, with complimentary standard ground shipping on eligible online orders.
For 2026, we expect another select-item sale rather than a sitewide discount, with 20% to 30% off being the range to watch.
TUMI Black Friday 2026 at a Glance
| Sale Detail | Our 2026 Prediction |
|---|---|
| Expected start | Around November 12–13 |
| Black Friday | November 27 |
| Main discount | Up to 30% off select merchandise |
| 19 Degree luggage | Select colors around 20%–30% off |

| Accessories | Smaller or more limited markdowns |
| Cyber Monday | November 30 |
| Expected sale end | Around December 1 |
| Best opportunities | Seasonal colors and outgoing styles |
These are predictions based mainly on TUMI’s 2025 event and current 2026 sale pricing.
When Will TUMI Black Friday 2026 Start?
Our best guess is around November 12 or 13.
Last year’s promotion began November 13, two full weeks before Black Friday. It was available at TUMI.com, TUMI-owned full-price stores in the U.S. and Canada, and select partner stores.
If TUMI repeats that schedule, there should be little reason to wait until Thanksgiving week. Popular sale colors and sizes may disappear well before November 27.

How Much Will TUMI Take Off?
Up to 30% off select merchandise is the most likely headline.
That was the maximum discount in 2025, but it did not apply to the entire site. Seasonal designs and selected luggage generally had the best opportunities, while newer releases, bestsellers and smaller accessories could receive smaller discounts or remain at full price.
TUMI is already discounting some merchandise at similar levels. Its current 19 Degree selection, for example, includes an Expandable Carry-On marked from $795 to $556 and a Large Expandable Checked bag from $1,050 to $735, both roughly 30% off.
That means 30% off by itself is not necessarily a once-a-year bargain. Black Friday becomes more interesting if that discount applies to a wider selection.
TUMI Black Friday 2026 Price Targets
Here are a few useful benchmarks based on current U.S. prices:
| Product | Current/List Price | 30% Off Target |
|---|---|---|
| 19 Degree Expandable Carry-On | $795 | About $556 |
| 19 Degree Large Expandable Checked | $1,050 | About $735 |
| Alpha Bravo Navigation Backpack | $550 | About $385 |
| Voyageur Essential Backpack | $325 | About $228 |
The 19 Degree luggage currently lists at $795 for the Expandable Carry-On and $1,050 for the Large Expandable Checked, while the standard Alpha Bravo Navigation Backpack is $550.
The Voyageur Essential Backpack has a $325 list price and is already on sale for $259 in one current color, another reminder to compare the Black Friday price against TUMI’s regular sale section.
These are price targets, not confirmed Black Friday 2026 deals.
19 Degree Luggage Is the Category to Watch
The 19 Degree collection is one of the easiest places to judge whether the sale is actually good because TUMI regularly sells the same core luggage in multiple colors.
The standard polycarbonate Expandable Carry-On is currently $795, the Medium Expandable Checked is $950 and the Large Expandable Checked is $1,050.
If a color you want reaches 30% off, that puts the carry-on around $556 and the large checked bag around $735. Those are solid prices, but they are also levels TUMI has already offered during 2026.
For Black Friday to stand out, we would like to see more colors included or some products move beyond the typical 20% to 30% range.
Backpacks Could Be More Interesting in Seasonal Colors
TUMI often discounts specific materials and colors rather than every version of a bag.
The standard black Alpha Bravo Navigation Backpack currently lists for $550, while seasonal versions have recently appeared at prices such as $415 from $595, $399 from $575 and even $345 from $575.
That is an important pattern for Black Friday shoppers. If you insist on the standard black version, the discount may be modest or nonexistent. If you are flexible about color or material, savings of 30% to 40% can occasionally appear.
Don’t Wait for Black Friday Just Because It Says 30% Off
TUMI’s current sale prices already show that 20% to 30% markdowns happen outside the holiday season.
So our buying rule for 2026 would be simple: if a specific TUMI item you want is already 30% off in the exact color you like, Black Friday may not improve much on that price.
Waiting makes more sense when the item is currently full price or when you want to see whether TUMI expands the number of eligible colors and collections.
Remember the Warranty When Comparing Retailers
For an expensive suitcase, where you buy it also matters.
TUMI currently provides a five-year limited warranty on wheeled luggage and body-worn bags and a two-year limited warranty on many accessories. During the first year, its coverage is broader and includes certain functional or structural damage caused by airline or transit handling. The warranty applies to purchases from TUMI and authorized TUMI retailers.
That makes it worth confirming that an outside retailer is authorized before choosing a slightly cheaper marketplace listing.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Probably not for a specific color or style.
TUMI’s Cyber Monday event has generally been a continuation of its Black Friday sale rather than a completely separate promotion. In 2025, the Black Friday pricing was expected to remain available through December 1.
If a suitcase or backpack you want reaches 30% off early in the sale, waiting until Monday could simply increase the chance that it sells out.
When Will TUMI Black Friday 2026 Be Confirmed?
Based on last year’s unusually early launch, we would start watching around November 12–13.
Once TUMI releases its 2026 sale, we’ll update this page with the confirmed dates, participating collections, 19 Degree luggage prices, backpack deals and any Cyber Monday changes.

Questions & Comments
What new luggage are you planning on picking up this holiday weekend? Let us know in the comments below.
In 2020, I believe they also had a Monday after Black Friday sale that either had an extra percent off or included pieces that weren’t included in the earlier part of the Black Friday sale.
My husband insisted on buying a set of 19 degree polycarbonate travel bags since we travel a lot as a family. I thought it was crazy to buy such expensive luggage – after all they are just bags you don’t use daily. We bought them last year and after our first travel I told him that is was the best of our 2018 purchases. I now love them and will recommend them to anyone. Too bad they discontinued the polycarbonate edition as I would like to buy two more matching bags. Their aluminum ones look almost the same but are much pricer!
I’m hoping Tumi brings back their 19 degree polycarbonate collection or some really good deals on some aluminum bags. I need a new carry-on!
