Our prediction is 40% off most Aerie clothing, bras and activewear, along with separate specials on leggings, sweatshirts, underwear and clearance.
The main sale will likely start on Wednesday, November 25, two days before Black Friday.

These are predictions based on recent Aerie Black Friday sales. We’ll update this page as soon as the 2026 event is announced.
When Will Aerie’s Black Friday 2026 Sale Start?
Our best prediction is Wednesday, November 25.
Last year, Aerie launched its main Black Friday sale on Wednesday, November 26, two days before Black Friday. The core offer was 40% off most Aerie merchandise, with several additional specials running through the weekend and into early December.
Following the same schedule this year would put the start on November 25.
We may also see smaller “early Black Friday” promotions earlier in November. Aerie did exactly that in 2024, with discounts reaching 40% on many items weeks before Thanksgiving.
How Much Will Aerie Take Off?
40% off is our strongest prediction.
Aerie offered 40% off everything during the 2024 Black Friday period, and the same headline discount returned in 2025.
Last year’s offer had some important exclusions. Undies were not part of the blanket 40% discount, nor were certain bra accessories, OFFLINE Cloud bottoms and select socks. Those categories had separate promotions instead.
We expect something similar this year.
Aerie Black Friday 2026 Price Predictions
If the 40% discount returns, here is what some common Aerie price points would look like:

Those are realistic price points for Aerie. For example, current Sunnie bras are regularly around $49.95 to $54.95, while many sweaters and sweatshirts are priced around $59.95 to $69.95.
These are examples, not confirmed Black Friday prices.
The Deals We Think Are More Interesting Than 40% Off
This is where Aerie gets a little more fun.
Last year, the regular 40% discount was only part of the sale. Aerie also had:

Those fixed-price deals are often where the better Black Friday value is hiding.
For example, a $59.95 sweatshirt at 40% off would cost $35.97. If Aerie instead features it for $29, that is clearly the better deal.
Is 40% Off Actually a Great Aerie Deal?
It is good, but not unusually rare.
Aerie runs promotions throughout the year. Even now, current offers include extra 30% to 35% discounts on many products.
On a $60 item:

So waiting from September until Black Friday just to move from 35% to 40% saves about $3 on a $60 item.
That doesn’t mean Black Friday is bad. It means we would shop Black Friday for the special prices, newer items and products that do not usually get the bigger everyday discounts.
The Underwear Deal Is Good, But Don’t Overrate It
Aerie’s underwear bundles always get attention around Black Friday.
Last year shoppers could buy 10 qualifying pairs for $35.
That works out to $3.50 each.
But Aerie currently offers many $8.95 undies at 10 for $38, or $3.80 each.

So yes, the Black Friday deal is better. But if you need underwear now, waiting months to save 30 cents per pair probably isn’t necessary.
That’s something most Black Friday roundups won’t tell you.
What Will Be Worth Buying?
OFFLINE leggings are near the top of our list.
The Real Me Crossover Leggings dropped to $25 last year, and similar fixed-price deals have appeared during previous Cyber Week events.
Sweaters and sweatshirts are another category to watch. Aerie repeatedly uses $29 and $35 specials on select styles, which can beat the regular percentage-off promotion.
Bras also make sense at 40% off, especially if you know your size and have a specific Sunnie or SMOOTHEZ style you already like.
For clearance, we would look for at least 60% off. Aerie reached that level last Black Friday.
Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
This is one sale where checking both makes sense.
Cyber Monday at Aerie often moves away from one simple sitewide percentage at ae.com/aerie and toward deeper markdowns on individual styles. Current Cyber Monday deal pages show Aerie merchandise ranging from 40% and 50% off to much larger discounts on select older items.

If you find the exact item you want at 40% off, we would not wait several days hoping to save another few dollars.
Aerie sizes and popular colors can disappear quickly.
Check Clearance Before You Buy
This is especially important at Aerie.
Last year Black Friday clearance was 60% off, which was much stronger than the main 40% discount.
Even outside Black Friday, Aerie routinely marks down older colors and seasonal merchandise. Current clearance underwear, for example, includes some $8.95 styles at $5.99 before bundle offers.
If you don’t care about getting the newest color, clearance can be the better place to shop.
Join Real Rewards Before Black Friday
If you regularly shop Aerie or American Eagle, it makes sense to have your Real Rewards account ready before the sale.
Last year free shipping thresholds depended on membership level. Standard members received free shipping at $75, while higher-level members qualified at lower purchase amounts.
We would also save anything you want to your favorites before Thanksgiving. When the sale starts, you can quickly check whether it received 40% off or one of the better fixed-price specials.
When Will the Aerie Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?
We expect the first confirmed details during the week before Thanksgiving.
Aerie does not usually release the type of traditional newspaper ad you see from Walmart or Target. Instead, the sale details appear through AE.com, the app, email and in-store promotions.
