How the Michelin Black Friday 2026 Deal Works
Buy four new qualifying Michelin passenger or light truck tires from an authorized participating dealer (i.e. Tire Rack) between September 3 and November 30.
After your purchase, submit the required information online to receive an $80 Visa Reward Card or Virtual Account. Claims must be received by December 31, 2026.
Popular Michelin tires featured with the promotion include:
| Tire | Type |
|---|---|
| Michelin Defender2 | All-season |
| Michelin CrossClimate 2 | All-season |
| Michelin Defender LTX M/S2 | Truck and SUV |
| Michelin E Primacy All Season | All-season |
What Does the $80 Rebate Really Save?
Since Michelin tire prices vary a lot by vehicle and tire size, comparing the total cost of four tires is more useful than predicting one price.
| Cost of 4 Tires | After $80 Reward |
|---|---|
| $600 | $520 |
| $700 | $620 |
| $800 | $720 |
| $900 | $820 |
| $1,000 | $920 |
For a real example, Tire Rack currently lists a set of four Michelin X-Ice Snow tires in size 195/60R17 at $794.08. After the $80 Michelin reward, the effective tire cost would be $714.08 before installation, taxes and other charges.
Prices will vary by vehicle and size.
The Bigger Black Friday Deal May Come From the Retailer
This is the part we would pay the most attention to.
The $80 Michelin reward is already available months before Black Friday, so that alone is not a reason to wait until November.
What could make Black Friday better is an additional retailer promotion.
For example, Discount Tire’s 2025 Black Friday event offered up to $100 in instant savings on select tire sets from brands including Michelin.
That does not mean the same offer is confirmed for 2026, but it gives us a useful target.
Our rough guide:
| Total Savings | Our Take |
|---|---|
| $80 | Standard 2026 Michelin promotion |
| $100 to $150 | Good |
| Around $180+ | Strong if retailer savings can be added |
| $200+ | Very good for a set you already planned to buy |
One Important Catch: Dealer Matters
Do not assume the official Michelin $80 reward works everywhere.
Michelin’s 2026 terms exclude warehouse clubs such as Costco, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s, along with certain national retailers including Discount Tire and Big O Tires. Those retailers may have their own separate Michelin offers instead.
Tire Rack is currently participating in Michelin’s $80 promotion.
So before buying, check which deal applies at that particular retailer.
A store-specific $100 instant discount may actually be better than Michelin’s $80 manufacturer reward anyway.
Should You Wait Until Black Friday?
Not just for the $80 Michelin rebate.
That offer is available right now and runs all the way through November 30.
If your tires need replacing now, there is little reason to wait two or three months solely for Michelin’s promotion.
If your tires are still in good condition and you can wait, Black Friday is worth watching because retailers may add their own discounts, credit card offers or installation specials.
The best deal could end up being:
- retailer discount + available reward + lower installation cost
- rather than Michelin’s rebate by itself.
Michelin Black Friday 2026 Shopping Tips
Compare the full installed price, not just the advertised tire discount. Mounting, balancing, taxes and other charges are not covered by Michelin’s $80 promotion.
Also check the same tire at several retailers. Michelin’s official promotion may work at one dealer while another retailer offers a better store-specific discount instead.
And if you need winter tires, do not wait too long. Black Friday falls late in November, and popular winter sizes may become harder to find as cold weather arrives.
When Will We Know About Additional Black Friday Deals?
Michelin’s manufacturer offer is already confirmed through Cyber Monday, but retailer-specific Black Friday deals should start appearing in November.
Discount Tire’s Black Friday promotion, for example, began November 20 last year.
We’ll update this page as retailers announce their 2026 Michelin offers and compare them to the existing $80 rebate.
