Updated on Wednesday, September 2, 2026: Home Depot has not announced its Black Friday 2026 deals yet, but last year’s schedule gives us a good idea of what to expect.
Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, 2026. Home Depot will likely start its Black Friday savings weeks earlier, with tools, appliances, holiday decorations and home improvement deals appearing in early November. The biggest doorbusters should arrive on Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
Expected Home Depot Black Friday 2026 Dates
Here’s our current prediction:
| Event | Expected 2026 Dates |
|---|---|
| Early Black Friday deals begin | Around November 4 |
| Thanksgiving online doorbusters | November 26 |
| Black Friday in-store sale | November 27 |
| Cyber Monday | November 30 |
| Black Friday sale ends | Around December 2 |
These dates have not been confirmed by Home Depot.
In 2025, Home Depot’s broader Black Friday sale started November 5 and ran through December 3. The main doorbuster event began online at homedepot.com on Thanksgiving, with stores opening at 6:00 a.m. on Black Friday.
If Home Depot follows the same Wednesday-to-Wednesday schedule this year, November 4 through December 2 is our best estimate.

What Deals Can We Expect?
Tools will once again be the main attraction, especially from RYOBI, Milwaukee, DEWALT, RIDGID and Makita.
Appliances, ladders, storage, smart home products and Christmas decorations should also have some of the best prices of the year.
Here are several actual 2025 Black Friday prices along with what we think comparable deals could cost in 2026.
| Item | 2025 Black Friday Price | Predicted 2026 Price |
|---|---|---|
| RYOBI 18V drill/driver kit | $34.88 | $34.88-$39.88 |
| Milwaukee M12 6.0Ah battery | $49 | $49-$59 |
| DEWALT 20V Max 4.0Ah batteries, 2-pack | $99 | $89-$99 |
| RYOBI 18V stick vacuum | $99 | $89-$99 |
| Gorilla 18-ft. multi-position ladder | $129 | $119-$129 |
| DEWALT 18-gauge brad nailer | $249 | $229-$249 |
| 7.5-ft. pre-lit Christmas tree | $79 | $69-$79 |
| Holiday wreath | $5 | $5-$7 |
| GE Profile 4-door refrigerator | $2,498 | $2,298-$2,498 |
These 2026 prices are our predictions and have not been announced by Home Depot. Actual models will likely be different.
Home Depot Black Friday 2026 Tool Deals
This is the category to watch most closely.
In 2025, Home Depot offered a RYOBI drill/driver kit for $34.88, Milwaukee M12 batteries for $49 and a two-pack of DEWALT 20V Max batteries for $99. A RIDGID finish nailer dropped from $169 to $99.
We expect plenty of deals around these price points again:
- Basic cordless tool kits around $35-$50
- Select batteries around $49-$99
- Two-tool combo kits around $99-$149
- Premium nailers and saws $50-$100 off
- Larger multi-tool kits $100-$300 off
- Tool storage up to 30%-40% off
The free-tool promotions are also worth watching.
Last year, Home Depot offered free tools with select battery or tool kit purchases from brands including RYOBI, Milwaukee, DEWALT, Makita and RIDGID.
We expect those Buy One, Get One style offers to return in 2026.
Home Depot Black Friday 2026 Appliance Deals
Appliances should be another major part of the sale.
In 2025, Home Depot advertised up to 40% off select appliances, plus savings of up to an additional $1,000 on qualifying kitchen appliance purchases. Free delivery was also offered on qualifying appliance orders of $396 or more.
One of the bigger featured deals was a GE Profile 27.9-cu.-ft. refrigerator for $2,498, down from $4,399.
For 2026, we expect:
- Refrigerators up to 30%-40% off
- Washers and dryers up to 30%-40% off
- Dishwashers starting around $300-$400
- Kitchen appliance packages with extra bundle savings
- Free delivery on qualifying purchases
If you’re buying several appliances at once, the bundle discount may end up being more valuable than the advertised price of any one appliance.
Holiday Decorations and Christmas Tree Deals
Home Depot usually saves some of its best Christmas decoration prices for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
Last year’s main event included a 7.5-foot pre-lit Christmas tree for $79, down from $199. A three-piece lighted deer family was $99, inflatable Grinch decorations were $19.98 and a holiday wreath dropped to just $5.
For 2026, we’d watch for:
- 6.5 to 7.5-foot artificial trees around $49-$99
- Inflatable decorations around $15-$25
- Wreaths starting around $5
- Outdoor light sets and decorations 30%-50% off
Some of these doorbusters can sell out quickly, especially the cheaper Christmas trees.
Smart Home and Home Improvement Deals
Home Depot also runs strong Black Friday offers on security cameras, smart locks, thermostats, lighting and garage products.
During the 2025 sale, Home Depot advertised:
- Up to 40% off select security cameras
- Up to 40% off select smart devices
- Up to 20% off select thermostats
- Up to 30% off select door locks
Brands such as Ring, Google Nest, Hubspace and Chamberlain are likely to show up again in 2026.
We also expect deals on storage totes, shelving, ladders, work lights, wet/dry vacuums and garage organization.
Do You Need a Membership to Shop Home Depot Black Friday?
No.
Home Depot does not require a paid membership to shop its Black Friday deals.
Customers can create a free personal Home Depot account for faster checkout, saved products and exclusive offers.
Home Depot also has Pro Xtra, a free loyalty program designed for contractors and other professional customers. Members can earn perks on qualifying purchases and receive personalized offers and pricing.
For most Black Friday shoppers, however, there is nothing you need to join or pay for before the sale.
Home Depot Military Discount
Eligible active service members, veterans and their spouses currently receive 10% off qualifying purchases after verifying their military status.
There are exclusions, so don’t assume the military discount will apply to every Black Friday item or appliance.
If you qualify, make sure your military status is verified in your Home Depot account before the sale starts.
Will Home Depot Be Open on Thanksgiving 2026?
No. Home Depot has already confirmed that its stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026.
Online shopping should still be available.
Home Depot has also confirmed that stores will open at 6:00 a.m. on Black Friday, November 27. Local hours can vary, so it’s still a good idea to check your nearest store.
That matches last year’s schedule almost exactly.
Should You Shop Early or Wait Until Black Friday?
Home Depot’s monthlong sale makes this a little tricky.
Many tool and appliance deals appeared weeks before Black Friday in 2025. However, Home Depot still released additional doorbusters for Thanksgiving and Black Friday itself.
If you see a strong discount on the exact tool or appliance you want, there may not be much reason to wait.
For cheap holiday decor, limited tool kits and other true doorbusters, Black Friday itself may still have the better offers.
Home Depot Cyber Monday 2026
Cyber Monday falls on November 30, 2026.
Home Depot tends to treat Black Friday and Cyber Monday as part of one extended sale rather than completely separate events.
In 2025, many Black Friday prices continued through Cyber Monday and remained available until December 3.
We expect the same in 2026, with some additional online-only deals appearing during Cyber Monday.
When Will the Home Depot Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?
Home Depot already has its Black Friday 2026 landing page online, but no actual deals have been posted yet.
Last year’s first major round of Black Friday deals was available by November 5, while the separate 10-page main event ad was released on November 26.
For 2026, we expect:
Early Black Friday ad or deals: Around November 4
Main Black Friday doorbuster ad: Around November 25-26
We’ll update this page once Home Depot releases the official offers.
Our Home Depot Black Friday 2026 Prediction
We expect Home Depot’s Black Friday 2026 savings to begin around November 4 and continue through roughly December 2.
The biggest categories should once again be tools, appliances, holiday decor, storage, smart home products and outdoor power equipment.
Based on last year, $35-$50 tool kits, $49 batteries, $99 combo kits, artificial Christmas trees below $100 and appliance discounts up to 40% are all realistic possibilities.
The main Thanksgiving and Black Friday doorbusters should arrive online on November 26, with stores opening at 6:00 a.m. on November 27.
For now, all prices and sale dates that have not been officially confirmed are predictions. We’ll update them once Home Depot releases its 2026 Black Friday ad.
