Free People Cyber Monday 2025 Sale – What to Expect & When

Free People’s Cyber Monday sale follows their Black Friday event closely. Based on what they’ve done in the past, here’s what to know before it starts.

Expected Cyber Monday 2025 Sale Dates

App Early Access – Sunday, November 30, 2025
If Free People follows its usual schedule, the sale will begin a day early for anyone using the Free People app. You’ll likely see the extra discounts go live on Sunday evening or late afternoon.

Main Event – Monday, December 1, 2025 (Cyber Monday)
The main Cyber Monday sale will kick off on freepeople.com at midnight and run for just one day.

Sale Details and Discounts

This year’s deal is expected to be an extra 40% off select sale items, with discounts shown at checkout. The offer should be available both in the app and on the website, but the app usually gets first pick.

You can also expect free express shipping on U.S. orders over $150 made through the app, along with free returns within the U.S. during the promotion. As usual, the sale won’t combine with other promotions or apply to past purchases, and some brands will be excluded.

Because this discount stacks on top of existing markdowns, final prices can be 60–75% off the original tag. That’s how Free People’s Cyber Monday sale typically stands out compared to other events.

Featured Deals from Last Year

Here are a few examples from Free People’s 2024 Cyber Monday event to give you an idea of how much prices can drop:

Item Original Price Sale Price Total Savings
Genevieve Minidress $200 $75 63% off
FP Movement Packable Puffer $228 $60 74% off
Kadiju Pleated Dress $250 $60 76% off
Intimately Square-Neck Tank $40 $12 70% off
FP Movement Flat Out Beanie $38 $12 68% off
Schutz Arissa Studded Flats $128 $42 67% off

These prices show how deep the savings can get when the extra 40% is added to already marked-down pieces.

Free People’s Black Friday 2025 Sale – What to Expect & When

If you’re planning to shop Free People this Black Friday, it’s worth knowing that their sales are pretty consistent from year to year — Here’s what we’re predicting at their upcoming 2025 event.

When Free People’s Black Friday 2025 Sale Will Likely Start

Free People usually kicks off their official Black Friday sale on Black Friday itself, both in-stores and on freepeople.com. In 2025, that lands on Friday, November 28, 2025.

Last year, Free People launched a pre-Black Friday deal that started before the main event. It wasn’t huge in terms of discount (15% off), but it had a charitable element: 100% of the net proceeds went to Girls, Inc. So while it wasn’t their biggest discount, it did give shoppers a chance to support a good cause while saving a little.

How Long the Sale Will Last

The Black Friday discounts at Free People typically run for about two days—from early Friday through Saturday. But just when those end, the Cyber Monday sale picks up.

Last year, Cyber Monday started Sunday morning and ran through Monday night. That’s likely what will happen this year, too. So in total, there are about four solid days of deals, just under two separate sales—Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

In 2025, that means:

  • Black Friday sale: November 28–29 (Friday to Saturday)

  • Cyber Monday sale: November 30–December 1 (Sunday to Monday)

So if you miss the Friday rush, you’ll still have a shot during Cyber Monday. In fact, depending on what you’re after, the Cyber Monday deals might even be better.

What Kinds of Discounts to Expect

Free People doesn’t do a sitewide discount the way some brands do. Instead, they focus on select sale styles—but the discounts can be pretty deep.

Black Friday Discounts (2024 as Reference)

Last year, the Black Friday deal was:

  • 50% off select sale styles

That means not everything was marked down, but a pretty decent range of sale items got an extra slash in price. This wasn’t 50% off full price—it was 50% off already marked-down items, which made the final price a lot more appealing.

Expect the same this year. The specific items will change, but the 50% off select sale styles format will probably stay.

Cyber Monday Discounts (2024 as Reference)

On Sunday morning, the deal shifted. Last year’s Cyber Monday offer was:

  • An additional 40% off all sale styles

That means anything already on sale, no matter how much it was marked down, got a further 40% off the lowest price.

This was a big one—if you’re looking to stack discounts, Cyber Monday was the better choice. For example, if a jacket originally priced at $200 was already 30% off, that brought it to $140. With the extra 40% off on top of that, you could have paid around $84.

So if you’re watching something that’s already marked down, Cyber Monday might be the best time to grab it.

Specific Examples from Last Year’s Sale

Looking back at 2024’s sale, here are a few real examples of items that were discounted, to give you an idea of what might pop up again.

  • Ottoman Slouchy Tunic: This Free People bestseller usually goes for around $148. It was marked down to about $98 before the sale and dropped closer to $58.80 with the Cyber Monday extra 40% off.

  • Dolman Quilted Jacket: Originally $198, marked down to $129, and then dropped to $77.40 during Cyber Monday.

  • We The Free “Found My Friend” Pullover: A staple sweater that was already on sale for $68, then went to $40.80 with the additional discount.

  • Movement Good Karma Leggings: Regular price is about $78. These didn’t always make the sale list, but last year some colorways were included and ended up closer to $46.80 after the markdowns.

It’s always a mix—you won’t know exactly which colors or styles will be included, but these kinds of pieces usually show up somewhere in the discounted section.
