We would start watching eddiebauer.com around Wednesday, November 18.
Last year’s Black Friday preview was underway by November 19, with Eddie Bauer promoting 50% off sitewide in Canada. The promotion included deals such as 50% off Microlight Down Jackets.
Eddie Bauer has also traditionally given Adventure Rewards members early access to select sales, so joining before November may help you shop before the best sizes disappear.

Around 50% off is our main target.
Last year’s Black Friday messaging featured 50% off, while Eddie Bauer’s previous Black Friday sales have also included clearance and individual styles at 60% off or more.

What Would We Consider a Good Eddie Bauer Deal?

Eddie Bauer already marks down older colors heavily. Some $129 CirrusLite Down Jackets are currently around $41.98, and certain $249 MicroTherm jackets are already below $90 depending on color and size.

Eddie Bauer Black Friday usually lines up well with winter shopping, and outerwear tends to be one of the strongest categories.

For 2026, we would especially watch CirrusLite, MicroTherm, First Ascent and Superior Down styles.
If a current jacket in black, navy or another core color reaches 50% off, we would consider that a strong deal.
Clearance Can Be Cheaper Than Black Friday
Before checking out, look at Eddie Bauer’s sale section.
This matters because the retailer already discounts seasonal colors very deeply. Current men’s outerwear includes $129 CirrusLite jackets as low as $41.98 and $229 Boundary Pass Parkas around $79 depending on the available color.
The tradeoff is selection.
Black Friday may be better if you care about a specific color and size. Clearance is better if you mostly care about getting the lowest price.

Members also earn points, while shipping benefits improve as you move through the program. The entry level currently gets free shipping at $99, while higher tiers have lower thresholds.
For Black Friday, early access is probably the more useful perk. Popular coat sizes can disappear quickly once the main sale begins.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Not if the exact jacket you want reaches 50% off.
Cyber Monday may bring another round of online deals, but waiting is more useful for clearance shoppers than someone looking for a particular size and color.
If a current-season jacket is half price before Thanksgiving, we would buy it.
If you’re just browsing for the cheapest fleece or coat, check again on November 30.
