Updated on Sunday, September 6, 2026: Discount Tire has not announced its Black Friday 2026 sale yet, but last year’s event gives us a much better idea of what to expect.
Our prediction is up to $100 to $150 off select sets of four tires, up to $80 to $120 off select wheel sets, and an additional discount for qualifying purchases made with a Discount Tire credit card.
Manufacturer rebates could bring the total savings even higher.

When Will Discount Tire’s Black Friday 2026 Sale Start?
November 20 is our best prediction. Discount Tire’s 2025 Black Friday and Cyber Monday sale started November 20, a full eight days before Black Friday. Some individual wheel offers continued through December 1.
That is a better guide for 2026 than the older Thanksgiving Day pattern.
If Discount Tire follows last year’s schedule, we expect the main sale to begin around Friday, November 20 and continue through Cyber Monday on November 30, possibly with some promotions lasting into December 1.
How Much Could You Save?
We expect Discount Tire to use several layers of savings rather than one simple percentage-off sale.
The likely setup looks something like this:

Last Black Friday, Discount Tire advertised up to $100 instant savings on select tire sets from brands including Michelin, Goodyear, Yokohama, Pirelli, BFGoodrich, Toyo and Nitto. Select wheel sets reached $120 off.
The Discount Tire credit card also offered $100 instant savings on qualifying purchases of $799 or more during the 2025 Black Friday event.
Which Tire Brands Will Probably Be on Sale?
We expect many of the usual major brands to return.
Likely brands include:

That’s important because Discount Tire’s promotions usually apply to a set of four qualifying tires, not every tire from a particular brand.
What Could a Black Friday Tire Purchase Actually Cost?
Tire prices vary too much by vehicle and size for us to predict one exact Black Friday price.
A better way to look at it is by the total cost of the set.
Here’s an example of what a $100 tire discount plus an $80 credit card offer could mean:

They also assume the offers can be combined under the 2026 terms, which has not yet been confirmed.
Don’t Confuse “Up to $150 Off” With $150 Off Every Set
This is probably the biggest thing to understand before shopping.
Discount Tire may advertise “$150 off tires,” but the maximum discount will usually apply only to specific brands, models or sets.
Other tires might get $60, $80 or $100 off.
The same goes for wheels.
So instead of shopping based on the biggest number in the Black Friday banner, enter your vehicle first and compare the final price on the tires that actually fit it.
Will Black Friday Really Be Discount Tire’s Best Sale?
Not automatically. Discount Tire’s Labor Day 2026 sale is already offering up to $150 off select sets of tires, up to $100 off select wheel sets and another $80 on qualifying Discount Tire credit card purchases. That puts the maximum instant savings on an eligible tire and wheel package at $330.
That’s a high bar for Black Friday.

If you’re shopping in September and find the exact tires you need at $150 off, waiting nearly three months may not save much more.
Black Friday becomes more attractive when several offers can be combined.
The Real Deal Is Often in the Stack
This is what makes Discount Tire different from a normal retailer.
The best Black Friday deal may look something like:
Tire instant savings + wheel instant savings + credit card savings + manufacturer rebate.
For example, if a 2026 promotion offered $100 off tires, $100 off wheels and another $100 through the Discount Tire credit card, that’s $300 in savings before considering an eligible manufacturer rebate.
Last year Discount Tire specifically encouraged shoppers to combine tire and wheel savings, while its current promotions also allow certain credit card instant savings to combine with manufacturer rebates and other exclusive offers.
Always check the terms because not every discount can be stacked.
Compare the Out-the-Door Price, Not Just the Tire Price
This is probably the most useful shopping tip for this page.
A $50 cheaper set of tires is not necessarily the better deal once installation and other charges are included.
When comparing Discount Tire with Tire Rack, Walmart, Costco or another shop, compare:

Should You Buy Tires Before Black Friday?
Yes, if you need them.
We would not drive around for another two or three months on worn tires just to wait for Black Friday.
Discount Tire runs substantial promotions throughout the year, and the current Labor Day event proves that Black Friday is not the only time you can save $100 or more on a set.
If your tires still have plenty of tread and you’re simply planning ahead, then waiting until November makes more sense.
Black Friday is also well timed for anyone who needs new all-season or winter tires before colder weather arrives.
Book Your Installation Early
This is one place where Black Friday tire shopping is different from ordering a TV.
Buying the tires is only half the job.
Once the sale starts, appointment slots can fill quickly. Discount Tire recommends buying online and scheduling your installation at checkout rather than waiting until you arrive at the store.
If you find the tires you want at a good price, we would lock in both the purchase and appointment instead of waiting until the final day of the sale.
When Will the Discount Tire Black Friday 2026 Ad Come Out?
We expect the first confirmed deals around November 20.
Discount Tire already maintains a Black Friday page at discounttire.com, but the 2026 offers have not been announced yet. Its guidance says Black Friday promotions have historically run around November 20 through December 1.
