Updated on Tuesday, October 13, 2026: Advance Auto Parts has not yet released its full Black Friday 2026 sale, but last year’s event gives us a useful benchmark for what to expect.
In 2025, the main Black Friday promotion began November 20 and included an online promo code at advanceautoparts.com worth 15% off orders of $35 or more and 20% off orders of $100 or more, with a maximum savings cap of $50. The code ran through November 30, while some individual deals ended earlier.
For 2026, we expect Advance Auto Parts to launch its main Black Friday promotion about a week before Thanksgiving, likely around November 19–20.

These are predictions until Advance Auto Parts publishes its official 2026 Black Friday terms.
When Will Advance Auto Parts Black Friday 2026 Start?
Our best estimate is Thursday, November 19 or Friday, November 20.
Last year’s Black Friday promotion launched November 20, eight days before Black Friday. The online BLACKFRIDAY code remained valid through November 30, although several advertised product offers ended November 26.
Advance also published a separate monthly flyer covering October 30 through November 26, followed immediately by another flyer beginning November 27.
That suggests shoppers should start checking prices at least a week before Thanksgiving.

What Did Advance Auto Parts Offer Last Black Friday?
The 2025 promotion combined a sitewide coupon with maintenance bundles and manufacturer rebates.
| 2025 Deal | Black Friday Offer |
|---|---|
| Qualifying orders of $35+ | 15% off |
| Qualifying orders of $100+ | 20% off |
| Mobil 1 Advanced Clean + filter | $37.99 + $15 gift card rebate |
| FRAM conventional oil + filter | $24.99 |
| FRAM high-mileage oil + filter | $25.99 |
| FRAM full synthetic + filter | $28.99 |
| PEAK OE-ready antifreeze | $18.99 |
| K&N air/cabin filters | $10 mail-in rebate |
The online coupon excluded categories such as motor oil, batteries and commercial tools, along with a number of selected brands.
That means some of the best Black Friday value came from product-specific bundles rather than the sitewide percentage discount.
Oil and Filter Bundles Should Be Worth Watching
Oil-change packages are one of Advance Auto Parts’ most consistent promotional categories.
Last November, Advance offered several five-quart oil-and-filter bundles starting around $25, while the Mobil 1 Advanced Clean package included a free qualifying filter plus a $15 gift card after rebate.
The promotion continued into the period beginning November 27, with FRAM, Mobil 1, Pennzoil and Valvoline bundles still available.
For Black Friday 2026, a full synthetic oil-and-filter bundle below roughly $30 would be worth a closer look.
Batteries May Have Separate Deals
Do not assume a general Black Friday coupon will apply to car batteries.
Advance’s current coupon terms exclude batteries and battery accessories from many percentage-off promotions. Motor oil and several other categories are also excluded.
That was also true of last year’s BLACKFRIDAY code.
Battery savings are therefore more likely to come from individual sale prices, rebates or Advance Rewards offers.
One advantage of buying from Advance is that participating stores offer free battery testing and free installation with qualifying battery purchases, subject to vehicle and location limitations.
Filters, Fluids and Winter Maintenance Should Be Strong Categories
Advance’s Black Friday timing lines up well with winter vehicle maintenance.
Last year’s promotion included antifreeze, fuel treatment, air filters, cabin filters and multiple oil bundles. K&N filters qualified for a $10 mail-in rebate during part of the promotional period.
For 2026, we expect similar deals on:
- motor oil and filters
- antifreeze and coolant
- air and cabin filters
- wiper blades
- fuel additives
- detailing supplies
- basic tools and accessories
These products can be more useful Black Friday buys than waiting for a large discount on a major replacement part you do not currently need.
Join Advance Rewards Before Black Friday
Advance Rewards is now the retailer’s main loyalty program.
The free 1st Gear tier earns 5 points per dollar. Spending $500 annually qualifies members for 2nd Gear and 8 points per dollar, while $1,000 in annual spending qualifies for Top Gear and 10 points per dollar. Members automatically receive a $5 Reward after reaching 500 points.
Advance currently also offers new members $5 off a $20 first purchase.
Rewards may be useful during Black Friday, but promotional coupons do not always stack. Advance’s current coupon terms specifically note that some coupons cannot be combined with Advance Rewards.
Free Pickup Is Particularly Useful for Auto Parts
Advance offers free in-store and curbside pickup, with many in-stock orders ready in roughly 30 minutes.
Standard shipping is currently free on qualifying orders over $35 within the continental U.S. Some products, including lead-acid batteries and certain hazardous fluids, are restricted to store pickup.
For Black Friday, pickup can be especially useful if you need a maintenance item immediately rather than waiting for holiday shipping delays.
Check the Coupon Exclusions Before Buying
Advance’s percentage-off codes often look straightforward but include significant exclusions.
Current promotional terms exclude gift cards, motor oil, batteries, commercial tools, special offers and numerous brands, including WeatherTech, Holley, Flowmaster, Magnaflow and others. A $50 maximum discount also applies to many coupons.
The 2025 BLACKFRIDAY code followed a similar structure.
For an expensive purchase, a 20% headline discount may therefore be worth less than expected if the $50 cap applies.
Keep the Return Policy in Mind
Advance generally allows eligible new, unopened and uninstalled products to be returned within 45 days of purchase. Online purchases can also be returned to an Advance Auto Parts store.
Clearance and “All Sales Final” merchandise are not returnable, while certain special-order and commercial products can carry a restocking fee. Opened electrical and electronic products may also have restrictions.
That makes it worth checking the return status before buying a heavily discounted Black Friday item.
Should You Wait for Cyber Monday?
Probably not if the maintenance bundle or part you need is already at a strong price.
Last year’s BLACKFRIDAY coupon continued through November 30, but some specific offers ended November 26, while a new set of monthly promotions began November 27.
That means Cyber Monday may bring another opportunity, but the exact mix of deals can change.
If an oil bundle, filter promotion or necessary replacement part reaches a good price before Thanksgiving, there is little reason to delay a purchase solely for November 30.
When Will the Advance Auto Parts Black Friday 2026 Ad Be Released?
Mid-November is our best estimate.
Last year’s Black Friday event officially went live November 20, with a four-page Black Friday ad covering the major promotional offers.
Advance continues to publish monthly digital flyers and coupon promotions, so we expect the first meaningful 2026 Black Friday details to appear during the first half of November.
Once Advance Auto Parts releases its 2026 Black Friday sale, we’ll update this page with the confirmed promo code, sale dates, exclusions and standout deals on oil, filters, batteries, maintenance supplies and auto parts.
